We arrived 20mins ahead of time with Ryanair into Palma OMG, what a farce, you dont know who is arriving departing Grrrr .. found our so called speedy transfer coach .. this has put us OFF nearly 3hrs YES 3hrs Transfer from airport to Hotel ...... left Palma airport at 21.30 arrived Hotel 00:13hrs No Drinks No Food Available we had to go out into the night to find a bar n food place, We got our key card and off to the 8th floor we went, and boy we were so pleased the room has new beds, made by easyflex, with crisp white linen and a low tog quilt changed EVERY DAY.... comfort heaven, a huge walk in shower, soap n shampoo a hairdryer couldn't ask for more. Breakfast at 9am looked so yummy loads n loads choice sadly that's where it stops, becaise not only was breakfast COLD so was dinner and Tea to the point both myself and my mother and a group of 8 ended up with D/V not good.... The entertainment team were excellent and in my eyes JO-JO who speaks about 7 languages worked fantastically hard with the kids and the adults in many activities day and night.. The bar staff .. Well what can i say they were RUDE argumentative and bring the hotel DOWN.. Thankfully when we did arrive we were greeted by a receptionist called Carla who wears a massive smile no matter what, she is a credit to the hotel, You need recognition Carla you are a star Nothing was ever too much trouble for you THANK YOU, you deserve promoting (hope you read this Kevin Deputy Manager).
As for the area well could be that we went too late in the season but there is not a lot around unless you travel out, although the walks around the complex and area are amazing, the little area of shops were ok we jumped on the local bus and went into Porta Cristo which is a little harbor place, shops, restaurants and beach although this was dirty with huge piles of dried weed piled up in a corner .. but it gets you out for a few hours .. Not sure i would go back due to the transfer from airport. i am sure the hotel would do better if they laid on a little minibus and supplied there OWN DIRECT TRANSFERS .. weather was a bit hit n miss but then it is October xx The Hotels beach is beautiful although be warmed the sun-loungers are expensive 8euros a day !!... the hotel hosts 3 pools, although they ARE very cold, but are clean x

Room Tip: If you aint scared of heights ask in ADVANCE for a room on the 7th or 8th Floor..... You will NOT be...

after reading some peoples reviews on here before we went I was a bit sceptical of what to expect. but when we get there the hotel was fantastic. the transfer from the airport to the hotel was 2 and a half hours (not the hotels fault as the airport is in palma and the hotel is in Mallorca right at the other side) we arrived at 21.45 and were greeted by the receptionist and made to feel welcome. we gave them our passports and they allocated us a room on the second floor. room 201 close to the stairs and lifts but wasn't too noisy. we wanted 7th or 8th as they had been refurbished but when we got to the room so much space got a single bed double bed and bunk beds so 5 beds for 2 people. and loads of space. no complaints there. we wondered where we could get some food late at night as we was hungry. pizzeria open till 12. and food down there was pretty good choice of 3 pizzas. pastas sauces cakes biscuits ice cream drinks. and then went to main bar had a drink( plastic cups) understandable. got a leaflet with all food opening times. from 8am right up until 12pm there is always something to eat/drink. pool bar outside is good general food chips burgers hotdogs sandwiches etc. plenty of sunloungers too and they are tidied away at end of everyday which is good.. staff really friendly always got a smile on there face constantly always working hard. great service. cant comment on dinner in restaurant as never went inside at the time. but evening meals always something different on. pork lamb beef chicken fish spare ribs. variety of different desserts too. restaurant staff very efficient at clearing your plates and offering assistance. entertainment team jojo the head rep absolutely brilliant such a good laugh. made our holiday enjoyable as did all the team. activities throughout the day football pool archery bowls table tennis etc. good to join in. also made paella and sangria and showed everyone how to do it. bingo on an evening which we won twice (110 euros) and the shows which are pretty good. karaoke on one night next night an acrobat show etc. you can higher the tv remote 10 euros deposit but you get it back (understandable really) and there is a few channels if you want to watch TV ie early hours of morning or just to relax for a few hours. there is a little square of shops and pubs. about a 5 minute walk., mini golf there as well which is really fun to have a go at. and a steakhouse to die for. best steak I've ever eaten ! one thingi didn't understand is we enquired about hiring a safe and we were quoted 61 euros with 10 euros refunded. I thought this was quite steep so didn't bother with it rooms are cleaned everyday and new towels etc so cant fault the effort of the staff.. all in all a fantastic holiday 10 days just flew. definitely would recommend and would come back next year, excellent value for money.

After reading some of the other reviews I was very anxious about booking this hotel as I saw very mixed reviews of this hotel so here's how we founds it.

Right I'll start with the transfer we had a 45min coach trip as there wasn't many on our coach so less drop offs hence the quick time however on the way back it was full and took us 3 hours! This was due to the fact that we was the first pick up by the time we got to the airport we was really tired I will just say that our pick was 3.30am and flight check in was 7am so with little sleep we was very tied on our way home I'd defo book a private transfer or hire a car if we ever go again I'll come back to the reason for the hire car latter.

Hotel- was very nice we was lucky to have a room on the 7th floor that has been refurbished room was very nice the maid came in everyday made our beds, changed towels ect. We had a sea view but I think all rooms have a sea view ours was overlooking the pool and beach. I read that others mentioned about the noise coming from other rooms and yes that is true we had a couple that kept fighting and a few times I got woke up. The air con wasn't that good either but as it was oct it wasn't that hot that we really needed it on having the door open with the sea breeze was enough for us also the sound of the sea and crickets was enough to drown out the Sound of the people next door! The food was fine all week that we was there we didn't have a bad meal the whole time we was there,we never ate in the pizzeria but it always smelt nice. If your all inclusive you can only get 3 drinks at a time and as you get plasticky cups from the pool bar you need to get 3 each or you are going up every 5 mins. The bar you get real glasses but you still only get half pint glasses.
All staff where very friendly and most speak English. Wifi was expensive and signal was no good half the time,it worked out cheaper to pay O2 £1.99 data daily and it also cuts off when you use it all so you can't go over on data and end up with an expensive bill. Most of the bars in town have wifi just asked them for the code. We went to the pizza place a few nights I forget the name of it but was very nice and the cocktails are very yummy :)

The area around the hotel isn't brilliant there not a lot to do so we spent a lot of money on day trips we are not the sort of couple that likes to just sit on a beach all day every day we like to go out and see as much as we can.we did walk along the coast a few days very rocky but had some grate views just take trainers the other way does have path but only goes so far. The beach itself is abit on the small side and I imaging that in school holidays gets very busy as we went when the kids where back in school and it was still very busy. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel but was very busy and sometimes we couldn't get on. We did go on the boat trips tho but be warned these are not very cheap. If you like Indian food there is a very nice its by the shops we ate here once for a change of scenery was very happy with the food. We went on the boat one day to Porto christo very nice beach and town there we manly went to go to the caves of drach tho well worth alook we really enjoyed it and well worth it one small tip if you go on the boat to Porto christo and you go to the caves don't follow the signs that say to go right they are to the left past the tourist info hut then about a 5-10 min walk .

Right I said I'd get back to the hire car point and so I will as I said before the transfer is long and if you'd rather not be took on coach tour of the island then get a private transfer or hire a car also might be better as the buses get full we spent a few hours waiting for buses and then took time out of day for the places we was visiting as we had to get back to get the bus or boat back I think that if we went back that we will get a car just so we had a bit more freedom to go out and visit other parts of the island. All in all we both had a very nice time and can't fault the hotel make sure you get a room on the 7 or 8 floor as they are the refurbished rooms we said would go back but I'd have a car so we could go see more of what is a very beautiful island.

Room Tip: 7th or 8th floors have been refurbished so very nice rooms

Our week away was over all too quickly. We were disappointed with the weather, rather mixed with the odd few hours of sunshine, but little or no rain. Then the day we left the sun came out, the sky was wall-to-wall blue, Ah well, maybe next time! As for the holiday, we had a very nice room with fabulous seaview overlooking the "adult" pool, but no afternoon sun so we swapped to Room 232 overlooking the kiddies paddling pool. While I had a nice afternoon nap, he was catching whatever rays were about. Both happy!! The food was great, of course being a buffet it was pretty much the same options but with variety, but no chance anyone could go hungry!! And it was all nicely prepared and presented. The staff are amazing, many of them seemed to be working very long hours, but always a smile and willingness to help. The hotel is spotless, and our rooms were immaculate, even though we weren't on the 7th or 8th floor which has been refurbished. Didn't see the annexe, but folks over there were quite comfortable, and happy being almost on top of the sea, and very peaceful away from all activities and music. The short walk up to the shops resulted in a good selection of most of anyone's needs, and the tobacco shop was 20% cheaper than duty free at Palma airport!! We did the little train trip from the hotel, but it just goes around from hotel to hotel in the resort, so it is not a good idea if you want to see anything nice. Also, take your kidney belt!! We didn't try the local buses but they are frequent, and the stop is in the hotel carpark. The walk down to the beach was down a lot of steps or down a steep pathway, with some steps at the bottom. For anyone with walking probems this would be a problem, but I managed it twice. The effort was well rewarded as the beach, though small, is lovely, and the little bay ensures a nice safe place to swim. The hotel could do well to speak to the owners of two very noisy local "guard dogs" nearby who seem to be left to guard a cafe behind the beach which is in a state of rack and ruin. They barked incessantly during the night. We paid the extra to be collected by minibus from the airport, rather than the coach transfer which took much longer. All in all, we were very happy with our holiday which was booked through Ola Holidays and their service was excellent. Even Ryanair was hasslefree, and overall it was great value for money. Thanks to everyone.for the part they played, we had a great time.

Room Tip: For peace and quiet ask for a room overlooking the first pool. For afternoon sun, ask for the rooms...

I went to this place in May 2013, the hotel was nice, clean, staff was friendly.Unfortunately we had awfull weather so everyone was inside drinking, so the indoor bars were very busy but still quick enough to serve people. Food was basic but good enough as we aren't to fusy.

Hotel has two pools, nice and clean, the area around pool looked clean and tidy. the garden with sun beds and parasols is really nice and the beach is stunning but you have to pay for sunbeds there.

Hotel has some stunning amazing views, but avoid room 155 and any room near stairs and lifts on first floor because you won't get ANY views, all you can see is the roof of the kitchen.

My overall opinion is that the hotel is good, well maintained, staff is friendly.

The nearest shops are about 2 minutes walk, there's also great path going along the coast, it goes quite far to Cala antena (beach which was completely empty) if you like to explore.

(And if you are as crazy as me and my partner you could walk to Cala Bota, hidden beach (nobody cleans it though) which is approximately 2.5miles, but it's hard to find to be honest but it's worth it - It's stunning place!)

Room Tip: avoid rooms on 1st floor near stairs and lifts - You won't get ANY views!

Just back from this hotel staying with our 3 children. After reading reviews about the transfer time we booked a speedy transfer through Resorthoppa and we were at the hotel in about 50 minutes would highly recommend them.

This hotel is in an amazing location right on the beach, we had a family room which was massive it had double bed, bunk beds and a single bed, loads of storage and plenty of space to move around, also had a fridge.

The entertainment was good but kids entertainment wasn't up to much, it didn't start until 8.30 and lasted about 30 minutes, it was followed by bingo then some kind of show. Some were excellent but the reps miming to musicals was very cringeworthy! Four Tops and the circus act were fantastic.

The pool area was really nice but quite windy and the pools were absolutely freezing so we spent most days at the beach. The beach was nice but not great for little ones there is a sharp drop in the water and waves can be quite big. The sand also has quite a lot of cigarette ends in certain parts of it. 12 euros for 2 sunbeds and umbrella.

Staff are all amazing very helpful and always smiling, yes they do ring the bell when people tip but it is just for fun they are not doing it to make you feel guilty.

There is a brilliant bus service that leaves from the hotel, we only went to Cala D'or but they go all over the island about 8 euros return to Cala D'or.

The only downside I would say about this hotel is the food. As a lot of other people have said the food was hardly ever hot and was almost the same every night. We have been used to all inclusive buffets having theme nights and different types of food but every night was almost the same there were a lot of Germans and Spanish in the hotel so I think the food may have been geared mainly for them. The pizza restaurant was really good but there was always much more choice and a better standard of food after 10pm. Not sure why they can't give you proper plates and cutlery?

Overall this is a great hotel but there wasn't really enough for us to do outside the resort and the kids entertainment wasn't enough to keep our kids entertained but for the price you can't really fault it.

Ideally situated for beach, shops and local buses. Found the hotel environs very peaceful due to no through traffic. Staff all helpful and friendly in our experience. Just one negative; they need to work on a more efficient system for keeping the buffet food hot. Overall, I would certainly recommend the hotel and we would go back again.

Room Tip: Ours was Room 706 - on the refurbished 7th floor, with tremendous sea views.
