We stayed at this hotel from the 19th- 26th September. Everything about this hotel was excellent. We stayed in the small block on 1st floor overlooking the pool which was fantastic. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. It was cleaned regularly and had fresh towels 5 out of 7 days.
The food was excellent and I cannot understand people who have written bad reviews about this. The selection and quality of food was very good. We looked forward to mealtimes everyday. The staff in the dining were hardworking and cleaned tables quickly. It was well organised and we never had to wait for a table. I am english and my partner is polish and we both enjoyed the selection of food.
The entertainment staff worked hard everyday and made you feel really welcome. My 13 year old son thought Raul was brilliant! Every night there was some kind of show. In the daytime there was always some kind of entertainment, but you were never forced to join in. The bar staff were very good at their jobs and were quick in serving you. The quality of the drinks were good too.
This was the best all inclusive I have stayed in and I would definately return again. Thankyou for a wonderful holiday.

my wife and i took one of our grandsons to this hotel as we have stayed here before.we were given a room which was very large and had a mini kitchen which was excellent, fom the moment we checked in untill we checked out everything was excellent. the bar staff were very friendly and allowed people 3 drinks at a time.the entertainment team i will not name anyone individually because they were all excellent and worked extetreemly hard from morning to night.they catered for everybody.they treat people with the utmost respect and they love thier jobs immensley.as for the negative reviews well forget them my wife and i have done many all inclusives around the world and this is among one of the best we have had,

Most of the staff apart from Philippe on the bar were most helpful and pleasant we found the barman to be most rude at times unless you were tipping him he would only serve one drink at a time when he had his awkward head on which is no good when you are a family of three so you have to keep going backwards and forward to the bar he got so rude that I went to reception and informed them of his attitude and was told they would get the manager to speak to him which he did within ten minutes and sent him home as ours was not the only complaint that evening. The staff do work very hard to please you but the entertainment is poor and it's a good 15 minutes into the small town the journey from the airport took 2 hours each way they provided breakfast at 5.30am before our coach came to pick us up for 7.15am the restaurant is open during the night until 6.30am to provide food for guests arriving and leaving during the night or early morning which is quite useful the snack bar by the pool area is not that great and there are wasps all round the drinks machines the hotel is kept clean and the gardens are nicely kept we have been to the resort a couple of times before but stayed at hotel America which is a better hotel all round it was my little boys birthday on the day we arrived and I requested a birthday cake upon arrival which they did arrange and when we went to our room there was a present and sweets on my sons pillow which was a nice touch there are not a lot of English guests at this hotel neither

Room Tip: We stayed on the Mallorca block which were just okay

We arrived a couple of hours late at 10.00 PM, thanks to the French air traffic controllers strike (again??)
The guy on reception was friendly and efficient. He told us he was sorry, but there were no studios left, and would we mind accepting a large one bedroom apartment, overlooking the pool and with sea views. Not wishing to upset him, we reluctantly accepted the upgrade. He informed us that the restaurant would be opened at 11 PM for late arrivals and the bar was open until 11.30 PM (ish).
The apartment was clean, simply furnished in a minimalist style, with two large built in wardrobes in the large bedroom. The bedroom window (open, sliding) had a magnificent view of the mountains. It had two 3/4 beds together, with what I thought were firm and extremely comfortable mattresses. There were three bolster type pillows for each bed, and spare blankets.
The bathroom was larg and clean, with decent sized sink with mirror over a bidet and a full size bath with shower over (good pressure). There were 6 sachets of shower gel and 6 of shampoo, but take note, the were not replenished for the duration of our two week holiday, so you will need to buy soap. (1 euro from the on site supermarket)

The kitchen/sitting room was large, with a couple of couches with pull out beds under. (two made up with linen). There was a microwave a fridge and a 2 ring cooker. If you require a kettle or Iron, you have to hire them at 12 Euros a week EACH! We took a couple of cups from the restaurant and used the microwave to boil water for coffee. 5 Litres of bottled water from the supermarket for 2 euros ( slighty cheaper in town but not worth the hassle).
The balcony was also large, with a "double aspect" The apartment was on the 7th floor at the end nearest the street (no. 7401 I think) and the view was great. Four chairs and a table, plus a washing line frame were dwarfed by the balcony size. Wern't we the lucky ones. The smaller apartment next door was privately owned, and locked up, so no neighbours apart from upstairs. With the bedroom at the back, there was total silence in the apartment, even with the entertainment in full swing and coaches arriving hourly.
So on the first evening we had a few drinks at the all inc. bar, a reasonable late dinner of cold cuts, cheese and salad before retiring for a fair nights sleep.
The complex consists of 4 buildings but I reckon "Mallorca" is the pick of the bunch, being by the smaller quiet pool and overlooking the huge bar/night-time entertainment area. Sunbeds are plentiful but most are of the old flat rigid type. The adjustable few are soon snapped up, although "pre-booking" was rare.

The restaurant is large ,with the tables set fairly close together but most are set for two. No Matre D to give you a table, but we never had to wait. The food is plentiful, and mostly good.
Some reviewers say that there was nothing suitable for them to eat and it was all for the Germans. I have to say, if you really feel that way, you seriously need to examine your diet. There was masses of salad and fruit at every meal, decent beef stews and pork dishes, show cooking with chicken, fish ,Paella, soups, vegetables of all sorts and stacks of puddings and ice cream at dinner time. Breakfast was great, with creamy scrambled eggs, fried eggs to order bacon by the ton and again cold cuts, cheeses and various salad stuff.
There were a few "theme nights" Pizza, Chinese, Mexican and Spanish.

To the reviewer who complained of pushy Germans, I would ask, Are you sure the were German, or did they just speak with a Germanic accent?
We found the German guests to be mostly polite and well mannered. We did however, find the Eastern European guests (in the majority I would say) to be rude, belligerent, noisy and uncouth. The few French guests were also rude, pushy and arrogant. (sorry if that upsets some , but that's just what we found).
The Italians were lively but always polite and the Brits were quiet mostly. Some of the guests with children allowed them to run wild in the restaurant, again guests fro a certain part of Europe mainly. The trick is, to give as good as you get. If they barge in front of you, simply barge straight back, they soon get the message.
To the evening entertainment... Awful, consisting of a reptile act (twice), a Freddy Mercury tribute act (more like Freddy Flintstone) and a Brazillian dance act ( Two oiled blokes and a bird who shook her booty around the small stage)
The rest was made up of the animation team setting up various competitions, where the punters made fools of themselves in front of a largely uninterested crowd. The "competitions" were taken over by the same group of guests, Russian, Albanian, Serbian and Polish usually, with a token Italian some nights. If you are going for the entertainment, don't. There is no English language entertainment and it is absolutely no fun when you can't understand the rapid commentary.

There were lots of the usual games during the day, but we were usually out, and didn't take part.
The games , darts, archery, pistol and rifle shooting, boulle?, and water polo etc., took place at the part of the complex nearer the large pool or by the tennis courts.
I must say, the staff at the hotel work tirelessly from morning til night, with bar staff clearing clearing and setting tables at meals, as well as serving at the bar. Tables are cleared very quickly, and drinks are served efficiently, and with an almost scary ability to know who is next, by the 4 barmen.
There were a very few British guests, and I agree with the comment that this hotel should probably not be pushed in British travel agencies, as after a couple of weeks, you kind of yearn to hear your own language from someone other than the reception staff.
The town is small, with almost all the shops and bars in one large block, about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Probably about ten bars to choose from, with Kareoke and large screen tellys being plentiful.

There is a very small beach 400 metres from the hotel but be aware that there are some 140 steps down to it included in those 140 meters. There is a beach cafe/bar there too. Sunbeds on the beach are 4 euros a day and another 4 euros if you want the shade of the static wood umbrellas. The larger beach is a further couple of hundred metres past the shops, but both get very busy. There is a bus stop outside the hotel, where the "bus red" can be caught. You can get to most places, but the regular routes are really Cala D'Or, Porto Colom, Cala Bona, Cala Millor and Porto Cristo with some smaller places in between. Fares range from a 2.4 euros to Porto Cristo, to 4.7 euros to Cala D'Or. (Singles).

Even in our dotage, the town was a little quiet for us. The hotel was mostly good, but let down by the entertainment and the boorish guests from certain countries. My review is only for the stuff we experienced personally, and not by any means a complete review of the whole hotel. The studios might have been awful, but I wouldn't know. The daytime games might be dire, but don't think it's right or fair to comment on things I didn't try.
Basically, if you want a holiday with reasonable food, OK accommodation and good drinkie poos, in a quieter resort, then you could do a lot worse. You will probably need to spend most evenings in a bar in town, or be driven mad by the kids disco until 9.30, followed by manic punters trying to out-do each other in mindless competitions.
Transfer time from Palma around 70 to 90 mins. Transfers back a little longer thanks to the clowns who can't be bothered to be ready for pick-up, and those who get a taxi but don't bother to tell the transfer companies. We used Valeas Urbis? and were quite happy with the price and service. ((£30 ish, for two return)

Room Tip: Ask for the Mallorca building. For a one bedroom apartment, ask for one at either end for a good big...

Go there if you dare!
I have just returned from the Eurocalas and i would never ever stay their again i thought i was going to spain NOT GERMANY!!
The hotel was rammed with Germans my husband and myself were the only english their!
The drinks are served up in small plastic cups its like being back at school and to top it the bar staff will only serve you one drink at a time bloody stupid!
The hotel is infested with wasps they are even bedded in the slush puppy machine in the snack bar and even at the main bar!
The food was disgusting the bread is rock hard and the tea and coffee is luke warm and their is hardly No choice for vegetarians!
We arrived at the hotel at 10.30am and was told we could get checked in at 2pm well what a joke that was we finally got checked in after 4pm with alot of chasing up from myself and my husband.

The studio we stayed in was disgusting the only good thing about the studio was the view..
there was human excerment on the door frame into the bathroom and the tiles in the bathroom was coming off the t.v was smashed in on top leaving live wires exposed and the control panel was left open exposing live wires.
The table on the balcony had splashes of blood on which made my skin crawl it was just disgusting.
My husband and myself could not wait until our departure date we hated it at the Eurocalas and certainly would not recommend this hotel to any one if you are german you will be fine but if you are english dont expect to get speedy service as the spainish make it obvious they love them and not the english!
The entertainment team oh my god what a bloody joke yes they put on children's time but it is meant to be adult time at 9.30pm but it was like a poor copy of butlins it was crap!!

Room Tip: Their is not a good room
