Smart, comfortable hotel. Great setting and decent food. Bit busy by the pool on some days but plenty of sun beds/shade. Staff excellent and very helpful. Did have to share stay with a number of conferences and business travellers but they are kept separate from holiday residents at all but breakfast time. Adult only policy excellent. Rooms excellent but beds a bit on the hard side.

I am staying here with my elderly parents for 10 days. After one night in room 321 without a balcony, I was swiftly allocated another room with a balcony. Storage is limited as there were no drawers so having informed reception, a pedestal of three drawers arrived.

The layout separates the WC, rainfall shower and bedroom. It's a bit fiddly as there is no dressing table and this had been replaced with a very small vanity unit, with a sink on one side and mini bar on the bedside. Not much space to put toiletries etc. No chair to sit on to do your hair and make up so I used the balcony chair and sat in front of the long mirror attached to the wardrobe door. Again, a bit fiddly and obviously designed by a male.

There are menu's for pillows and air fragrance, which is pumped through the air con.

We are half board and the food is OK but can be limited on choice if you don't eat fish . Each evening there is show cooking on the griddle so at leat you know it's been freshly prepared.

Breakfast is very good with choices to suit guest nationalities who are in the main, Spanish, French, German, Swedish, Irish and British. There is a mixture of ages and as its adult only, that's a plus.

The bar on the 6th floor is good for an evening drink in the open air and has great views. Lovely pool area which is well staffed who keep an eye on the no sun lounger reservation policy, which is strongly adhered to so there are generally plenty of loungers available. Pool towels are provided.

The lobby and bars are well furnished and upholstery is in good order.

We've had lunch and you get large portions and there is plenty to share if you like a lighter lunch.

Good bus service into / from Palma cost 1.50. We took a 10 minute taxi to Puerto Portals, which is stunning and much nicer than other marinas eg Puerto Banus, which looked tired when I last visited It's great to people watch and have a coffee and a cocktail.

Due to Brexit, the exchange rate is falling. Car parking is a bit steep 14.50 a day.

The staff are friendly and s special mention hoes to Javier, the Guest Relations Manager who provided me with information on train times.

I have travelled extensively and stayed in many five star hotels in all continents and am a regular cruiser and have benchmarks for hotel experience.

Would I stay here again? Yes purely for its ambience and location but would do B and B next time.

Dear Karon,

Thank you so much for your kindly comments. It help us to know the experiences of our services.

First of all, we are so glad after knowing that we have been able to satisfy your requests on time. Effectively, we usually change the room if the guest is unhappy with it.
As you comment before, we offer different menus in our buffet Restaurant with the end of reach customer demands according to nationalities. Moreover, we have a show cooking available for our guest in order to prepare hot dishes at the moment.

Regarding to our sunbeds, we have an specific policy and we don´t book any sunbed. In this way, we give the same opportunity to all of our guests.

Finally, as you mention before, we are just 7km from center of Palma and we have a bus stop in next to the hotel. Moreover, we are really close to a commercial area where you can enjoy a soft drink or do a shopping tourism.

Thank you again for your completely feedback which is really useful for us. We hope to see you in another occasion.

The first impression when arriving at the hotel was ok. It seemed modern and stylish, so we were quite confident to enjoy an amazing urban beach holiday. We didnt have the most welcoming experience while checking in. The receptionist was not really interested in explaining the hotel or offering a welcome drink (which the group of guests next to us received). Nevertheless, we managed to explore the hotel ourselves.

While doing this we found maintenance issues everywhere: a broken ladder in the pool (never repaired also not after one week), a broken "Business Class" sun bed (I'll explain the term later), water leakage in the restaurant, broken handrail on the stairs down to the beach and loose tiles on the stairs down to the beach.

The rooms are small and as also mentioned in previous reviews, there is no space to put your things. No hangers somewhere for cloths or a table to put small things. The cleanliness could be improved especially in the toilet and bathroom. Furthermore, we never got new shower gel. Although I called twice to request a shower gel, the next day again no shower gel was in the room after the housekeeping. In addition, it is very loud in the hotel. You here doors slammed the whole day and night.

The pool area is in general very nice. There is no music though and mainly self service for drinks and food. The hotel implemented, as I call it, an economy and business class model for the sun beds. The economy sun beds are very uncomfortable and literally stacked to each other. In total there are only 4 umbrellas for the whole pool area. The business class sun beds have to be rented at a minimum of 60€ including a fruit platter and 2 smoothies. But not even if you rent these beds, you will be served. Twice during our one week stay fruits were served as refreshments, but only on first come first serve basis. So not all pool guests were offered some.

The hotel has a very tiny beach (8 sun beds), which could be very nice, but the fact that the sand is absolutely dirty (glass, cable pieces, cigarettes, etc.) ruins the experience completely.

The breakfast is good and offers a big variety, although the restaurant leaves a very unpersonal impression, same as all other hotel facilities. You never see any managers around and the service and reception staff seems mostly incapable to deal with simple requests, not to mention to offer any solutions for a request, any help or anything else which makes you feel appreciated as a guest.

Dear Carina,

First of all, thank you for your time and share with us your opinion in this web opinion. It helps us to improve our services and know the experiences of our guests.

On the one side, we would like to inform you that we usually offer a cup of cava to our guests but it was possible that we produced a mistake and we didn’t offer.

Regarding to our pool stairs, we inform you that we are fixing but we dependent on supplies from external services.

On the other side, we offer different room categories in order to adapt us to our guests. For that reason, we place at your disposal our official website in order to check our rooms. Anyway, if you have any request, we would be grateful if you inform us through reception in order to provide you anything that you may need.

As for the beach sand we would to say that is a public beach, where the water rises and falls every day, bringing still things that are in it, we clean the beach all mornings but then the water brings again some things. We will try to clean the beach more times during the day for you comfort.

Finally, we will take a note of your comments in order to improve our services and we hope that you give us another opportunity to show you our improvements.

We had a lovely time at the hotel, fabulous vows in a good location very close to Palma. Adult only and generally quiet, but spoilt a bit by the odd group who treated to pool area as their private patio, very loud, obnoxious and felt everyone wanted to listen to them and their music. They should really have been in 'Magaloof'. The view is spectacular and the cool breeze great for the sunbathing right by the sea.We had a major issue with them over us booking half board. We were advised it allowed us to have either dinner or lunch each day. However at check out we were told this was only for evening buffet. By then we had eaten out every night as we were led to believe it would civer lunch. So if you do book half board beware.

Stayed at this hotel for family wedding in the area. The hotel is in a quiet location but has great transport links to Palma nova if you want to explore. We stayed in an upgraded room with sea view the room was small with limited storage space for clothes etc and when your travelling for a wedding this was a bit of a nightmare. Bathroom set up is strange open plan with sinks in room which again limits the space.
We stayed on breakfast only board and food was good with choices to suit everyone. We also had lunch a few times which again was first class. Pool area was excellent with amazing views always plenty sun beds on hand. Service overall was good apart from a few times at reception when they seemed a bit overwhelmed if busy and no one available to answer simple query. Overall our experience was very good and I would return maybe for 5 days at most as nowhere to put your clothes if any longer!
