Owner description: Port Adriano is a marina for boats between 6 and 80 metres long in the South-west of Mallorca, Balearic Islands. Designed by Philippe Starck, there is no doubt that this is the most modern and best equipped marina in the Mediterranean. Its innovative concept is expressed not only in the marina’s aesthetics, but in an authentic improvement in comfort for users: berths and shopping area with parking places in the shade, absence of traffic in front of the boats and shops, concealed cabling, 24m2 of storage space in front of the berths, terraces in the sun and shade, an esplanade for events…The marina features stores with prestigious international brands for nautical goods, boatyards and luxury boat brokers. Well-known top-quality fashion brands are there, too. In addition, Port Adriano has an excellent range of international ‘cuisines’.

Unfortunately my last minute weekend decision to visit Majorca meant that I was unable to find any accommodation anywhere close to here and until you have visited you cannot understate how upset one is when they know they've got to go back to Palma after a day here.

It certainly is worth a day trip by the beach. The beach bar serves lovely food and drinks so there is no need to spend a fortune at nearby places geared up for the hotel and port. Having said that. Aroma was lovely for an evening meal.

You can hire paddle boards for 10 euros which were a bargain and great fun.

Next time I will take an apartment for a week. Well worth a visit and easy to get to from the city on the bus - even on a Sunday!

Thank Solekka

Tens of millions have been spent on this marina development and it really does show. The range of restaurants, cafes and service providers within this Marina is I believe second to none. There is plenty of parking (unlike nearby Portals) under the development and so convenience is about as good as it gets. If you like Phillipe Stark design (and I do) you will love the look and feel of this Marina - very chic but relaxed too. A perfect place for a long weekend if you stay at Port Adriano Hotel and SPA but they don't accept children which is a shame. We rented a place but would have preferred hotel facilities. Other than a trip to Portals and one to Palma, we didn't see much reason to leave Adriano. Everything about this place is 5 star but of course so are the prices but I will be going back soon.

Great location near to El Toro. There appears to be one hotel nearby which overlooks the port, a 5 star golf & spa which can be pretty expensive.
I stayed in private rented accommodation over looking the port which had fantastic views.
On walking around the port it oozed money with numerous bars and restaurants probably catering for the yachting community & although some were very expensive others were reasonable.
definately would return as we loved the atmosphere.
