Just back from 1 week stay (two rooms) at BQ Apollo.I was a bit afraid about October weather but all was OK. Only late evening and night could be windy and rain occurs, however super relax on near empty beach during day. Apolo hotel was also nice surprise. Not full by ending season, but no compromises in service or staff: helpful reception staff in late evening check-in, sea view rooms without problem or fee, excellent food on breakfast and dinner (see pictures!).
Daily room services incl. towells, very clean outdoor and indoor pool (staff steadily maintaining sunshades and deckchairs in/out in wind/rain moments). Hot water in room and pools also without limit (not so reliable in some solar-heated hotels!) Nevertheless is very spacious lobby and terracce for waiting for transfer or meeting with friends.
Fridge can be rented for 4,50 Euro/day, no tea/cofee facility in room. Maybe some 4 bed or connected rooms would be nice for families, but nothing more can be required in that category.

Room Tip: Sea view is posssible, but limited with another hotels in front.

Just back from Majorca (12th - 19th Oct 2011 ) Our week at at this hotel was just great. The hotel is a two minute walk from the beach and restaurants. Our room was a little small but we were only in it to sleep and shower ! Our room was cleaned every day and the hotel was very clean generally. The staff were very helpful and polite. The food predominantley German but plenty of it. Pool and pool area kept very clean. Enjoyed the two nights of free entertainment.
We had an fantastic time in an excellant 3 star hotel. Very happy to recommend this hotel and staff.

We have just come back from a week in the Apolo and overall it was good - we unfortunately had a 1st floor room over the reception area so at night and in the early morning it was very noisy from bin collections to just inconsiderate people!! The food in the Apolo was fine always something different every morning and evening. The waiting staff are fantastic and can't do enough for you. Rooms are cleaned everyday with clean towels. There is one thing to be aware of in this hotel the dining area is downstairs with no lift so if you have restricted mobility this is not the hotel for you also there is no ramp into the hotel either - this is the only negative comment we can make because our overall stay was excellent and we would definately stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Don't book a street room!!

We spent three nights as this hotel and it did exactly as it said. It was clean, the staff were helpful, the rooms were nice enough and comfortable enough and the pool was excellent and quiet. It was literally two minutes walk to an excellent beach with another further on. They hired bikes and there was a bike trail that went all the way to the centre of Plama.

For cost and location, it was excellent value. The breakfast was very continental so dont expect english sausages and bacon, but what was available was really good.

The lifts are very small, but perfectly adequate and the bar had good service and the prices were excellent.

Overall a nice little hotel if you just want to chill out during the day and then eat out in the evening.

We stayed at this hotel 1 week (25-31 August 2011). The room was OK (not very clean), but the bathroom was very uncomfortable. To get to the WC we had to go in the shower cabin, then close the door and then reach the WC. The TV didn’t work but for us that was not a problem. They didn’t have a hairdryer in the room, they had 1 for the entire hotel, but it was always booked. The food they offered was good but always the same, at breakfast: cheese, eggs, ham, salami, yogurt, pastries, juice, coffee etc and at dinner: some local food (paella), fish, fries, meat, fruits, cakes and a very good ice-cream (the drinks are not included). The hotel is close to a small beach and also to a larger beach. You have there all kind of shops, but the products are almost the same everywhere. The area is quiet, it’s true that you hear every 2-5 minutes a plain (because the airport is close) but you get used to it. German people are everywhere, that’s why everybody speaks better German than English. If you want to relax this hotel is good, if you want to party it’s better to choose a hotel in S’Arenal. There is a small tourist train (4Euro) that you can take to visit the area (go and return with the same ticket). And the bus 15 to visit Palma.
