Description: We are closed until 2018 spring! Xelini Restaurant “Tapas” Restaurant located in Deia (Mountain town located in Mallorca). The best local and Mediterranean cuisine. Xelini Restaurant is situated in a property which is 130 years old. The tasteful decor together with the stone walls and wooden beams and the addition of beautiful garden provide the perfect setting for an innovative menu of Mallorquin Cuisine. The psot-modern decor does not detract but rather lends to the cosy family atmosphere as opposed to some of the more popular tourist eateries on the island. Preserving the timeless ambience of Mediterranean cafe society where people sit and pass the time of day. Although Deia is a relatively small village nestled within Mallorca’s Sierra de Tramuntana it has enjoyed a world-wide reputation due to some of it’s more illustrious vistors and residents from the literati and gliterati of the nineteenth and twentieth century.

We had a great meal here, lovely wine and a broad range of tapas dishes. We sat in the garden area which was well shaded and had a pleasant atmosphere. We were very happy with the service.

Good tapas, friendly staff. Being Scottish we did not mind watching England get knocked out of the World Cup here.

Excellent menu, portions are large, but the servers advise well so there isn't too much. All dishes were tasty, especially liked the whitebait, croquettes, and the salads. We sat on the terrace both times, having booked which I recommend to get the best tables. The inside area of the restaurant is very nice too, also had a drink or two at the bar with friends.

We sat on their very nice terrace adjacent to the restaurant. Good selection of tapas, priced towards the top end of our experiences in Deia. Overall they were tasty, although not the best we've had. If we went again we would order in stages as they brought everything out together, rather than staggered as is the traditional and more preferred way. Service was friendly and efficient. Sangria was on a tap/pump rather than freshly made so not great.

We just wanted a light lunch - we ended up spending some considerable time and working our way through many wonderful tapas dishes - they were all wonderful
