We stayed here with our 6 month old baby. The staff and other guests were super helpful and friendly. Definitely make use of the private cove - either to swim or just relax in the sun or shade. We just wanted a relaxed vacation and got exactly what we wanted.

we have just returned from a short break with two teenage children . We had a junior suit on the 5th floor with a nice balcony that had a table and chairs and two sunbeds . The room was a good size and was comfortable and very clean, I would say that it is a little dated and I didn't love the bath/shower, its a good standard holiday hotel with a very nice pool and lovely gardens with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The hotel also has a shuttle bus that takes you to the private Muleta cove , its stunning !!! has a lovely little cafe and very clean toilets/showers , its a place you could stay all day , I loved it. I think this hotel offers a great base for exploring Deia , its a 15 minute walk and you have a good choice of places to eat and drink. The hotel does seem to have a slightly older guest but there were families with teenage children , I wouldn't recommend for very young children. We really enjoyed our stay but 3 days was enough for us, it was very relaxing. I would say rent a car and explore , its a stunning place . The only thing I didn't love was the food , we had Tapas on our first night and it wasn't very authentic and it put me off trying the other restaurants , we ate lunch by the pool and that was ok for chips and toasties but the food is a bit mediocre . I would say that this is a very good hotel with a quiet ambiance, lovely staff and very pretty gardens with lovely views,my mother would love it .

Stayed in a twin room in the newer wing which was quiet, comfortable and very clean. Daily breakfast buffet is very good. Would stay there again. Bus services and taxis around deia very limited so would reenr hiring a car of you want to base around deia. Loved the poolside area and restaurant - lunches on the terrace by the pool were a highlight and staff there were terrific.

This was our 3rd year and the hotel certainly did not live up to expectations or the quality and standard on the two previous visits. Whether the marketing is different or not I don't know but I felt that the hotel had slipped into a 3 star category, the plumbing was noisy, the bath water wouldn't run away and we we're told it would be fixed after we left, towels we're put on loungers very early even though the hotel had introduced a deposit taken at arrival, the food was not as special as previous years. We heard from a number of guests that they'd asked to be moved rooms because of the noise and as an indictment of the whole many comments were of the nature that repeat customers would not visit again.
That lovely gentile ambience created by many repeat guests and seeing the same faces was gone.
The only saving grace was the Ca'n Quet restaurant affiliated to the hotel (although you only got a voucher for lunch if you ate at the restaurant and not to the value of the evening meal that you didn't have........) The food was everything you hoped for at the hotel and Ana and Micky were just brilliant, looking up towards Deia and seeing the evening glow from the setting sun on the mountain faces was great. We'll looked after by the staff who acted in the most friendly and professional manner.

Room Tip: We try to have the same room but they don't allow you to specify particular rooms.

We loved it here. We spent a week here on a bed and breakfast basis and stayed in a lovely, peaceful room on the second from top floor of the building above reception, with great views of the village and sea.

This hotel offers stylish and traditional Mallorcan hospitality with sufficient modern touches and amenities for a busy professional couple like us to enjoy in full our holiday there. We plan to retun as soon as we are able!

The staff were very professional and at the same time very caring, good natured and friendly. Special mention must go to the staff at breakfast, who got to know our preferences for coffee - a little detail, maybe, but so important for us, to get the days off to a good start, the wonderful staff at reception, who were so helpful with our reservation in particular, and bellboys, and also the spa therapists, who were amazing - see below.

We loved the huge and beautiful pool, sun terraces and garden and never, even though it was high season, had a problem getting a lovely sunbed.

The poolside restaurant and main restaurant were both excellent and good value. We look forward to trying the tapas restaurant on our next visit! We also dined out in Deia and Port Soller and found great choice and quality. It was lovely to walk into Deia in the evenings some nights and we dined in Port one night, which was an easy and spectacular drive. Similarly a memorable evening with friends in Port d'Andratx was within easy driving distance.

We really liked the fact that many guests appeared to be regulars and knew the staff well and some knew each other. It made for a very friendly atmosphere and also says a lot about the hotel that people are so happy to "repeat".

The spa treatments were amongst the best we have ever had, with such caring therapists and in such a wonderful setting. You can choose to be indoors in the rooms in the spa building or outdoors in the cabana with the mountain stream cascading down as a backdrop - wonderful and a real enhancement to our relaxation on holiday in this super hotel.

Room Tip: We were very happy with our room on the second from top floor of the main building above reception...

First things first....the hotel is a good hotel. Caters mainly for middle aged to older clientèle but some children. If you cannot use steps then stay away from the annex. The hotel is situated on the Valdamossa side of Deja so if you want to eat outside the hotel you will need to walk into the village. This means walking on the road...10/15 minutes up a hill with an OK gradient. If you go the way the hotel sends you then 15 to 20 minutes and with some quite steep hills. Best thing is its downhill on the way back. Taxis are very sparse (2 in the village) There is a bus stop outside the hotel but it is only for those going towards Deja and Soller. You have to walk to the other end of the village of Deja to get the bus to Valdamossa / Palma Nova which is a bit of a pain. Time it right and you can get the bus to Soller and get off in Deja itself (outside Le Residencia hotel) and then cross over the road and get the bus to Palma etc.......But back to the hotel......Rooms are good especially the bathrooms we stayed in 417 which had a huge shared balcony....no one except us seemed to use it. The pool has a problem as there are not enough sun beds around the pool and the umbrellas are fixed so as the sun goes around you will get burnt unless you can find another bed. Sun goes over the length of the pool. We ended up in the gardens as they had trees and all we needed to do was move the beds. It is down steps from the pool area, same level as the toilets that serve the pool bar. The hotel asks guests not to reserve sun beds, but this seems to be totally ignored by a lot of the guests and the hotel does nothing about this problem. Food -: Breakfast very, very good. Lunch most of the time around the pool was also varied and good. Dinner was OK limited choice, but OK. From a personal point of view I thought the tapas restaurant was well below par and we had very much better tapas in a restaurant in Deja. Its a personal thing of course but I feel this area needs to be improved. I did not try the hotels restaurant which is next door. The staff were very good. One thing you need to consider is that the hotel is used by a lot of returning guests who are a bit cliquey, but as we are pretty anti social people :-) it did not bother us too much. So as long as your fit.... if you want to venture outside the hotel to the village and stay in the annex then this hotel is pretty good. If you are not fit and want to get around then get a car or look for somewhere else.

Room Tip: Go for rooms on the 5th floor over looking the sea...the annex has about 100+ steps to get to it...
