We have been visiting Deia for the last 3years and were put off visiting this restaurant two years ago by two women who had a terrible meal there......that's all it takes to put me off a word of mouth judgement.
We decided to try for ourself and were glad we did.
There was one female waitress very efficiently coping with 7 tables and was very welcoming and efficient. The food was very fresh and well cooked.
I had cod and fresh langoustines on a bed of savoury rice. Beautifully fresh and moist. Langoustines had not had their intestines removed(one of my restaurant hates) but apart from that very yummy.
My husbands sirloin steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and well seasoned.
No Deia Ruperts in sight.
Enough to put anyone off their meal,
a pleasant restaurant with a good view
Good wine list of locally sourced wines.
Glad we came here... Apparently it has changed hands in the last two year
I am fussy and will be coming back!
