I went here is September with my Grandad (he is 92 I am 31) we had a nice time and they made us feel very welcome.

It's exactly what you expect from a 3* clean and tidy, buffet food and average size rooms.

For what we paid it was a good place and very handy for the beach.

We enjoyed the crazy golf (free when you stay at the hotel).

Don't be put off by bad reviews on here its a 3* in Spain - it does exactly what it should.

If we can get the same deal next year hopefully I will get the chance to travel with my grandad again.

Room Tip: Get a room facing towards the Katmando Park thats away form the direction of BCM square, we were on...

Booked a very last minute holiday away with the girls and got a VERY good deal. Thought it was way to good to be true, but it didn't let us down. I loved the food, it was different every night, always hot and a big selection. The theme park was also very good, especially for the day when it was cloudy.

Really good location, especially if you went for the clubs. Less than a 5 minute walk and you'd be at BCM/strip, and the beach was also just round the corner.

The room needed updating, but i heard they are updating the rooms in 2014. We had a massive crack along the side of our door, which meant air was coming in even when the door was shut. Free air con was a plus and the staff, including rep Kelly was always happy to answer questions.

I'm so glad we went all inclusive. Hot food was served practically all day, there was slush puppies, hot chocolate, 2 alcohol cocktails to choose from and ice cream whenever you fancied it. The alcoholic drinks were very strong!

Overall, for the price we paid we wouldn't of got anyway better any where else and would recommend it for all ages.

Room Tip: If you want a early, quiet night sleep, ask for a room away from BCM as you do here a bit of noise t...

Really good location in Magaluf, nice clean place. Unfortunately not the best food. We decided to choose "all included" but every single day we had only breakfast in hotel (fresh fruits).
Inside - looks very nice and modern, outside (compare to the other hotels in Magaluf) very very old fashion. there is one old pool outside and all the deck chairs are situated 20cm next to each other.
Also I wouldnt recommend this place to older people - even at 4-5am it's very very noice (there is plenty of night clubs arround)
I think three stars is even more than they deserve.

My boyfriend and booked up an extreme last minute holiday here staying between 7th - 14th September. Over all it was a good get away for something arranged quickly.

I found the check in was a little bit slow but lucky for us we was near the front of the queue.
Our room was on the 7th floor with a nice view. The rooms could do with a bit of TLC. Cracks in the walls, things hanging off but we weren't really fussed about all of this, it was safe to stay and clean. The hotel is great if you are a heavy sleeper, the music does stay on loud till early hours of the morning, and some people do clomp about around this time too. However there was never any trouble!

The food was delicious, I am a fussy eater but managed to eat lots. We're both not heavy drinkers but all drinks and cocktails were lovely.

The staff were ok, they didn't seem to talk much. Entertainment did try there hardest. The Thomson rep Kelly was extremely helpful and made sure we was always ok.

Location is great, everything is on the doorstep for all ages. We had the wrist band to get into the Katmandu park and was free between 10am and 6pm. Beach is a short walk away and pubs/clubs a short distance.

The one thing I wouldn't recommend is the Orange Blossom excursion which we brought through Thomson. It was sold to be really amazing, you get the coach up the mountains, have a few pictures walk round a hidden church with free time, then go to a nice fishing village where you can have a nice lunch and yummy pastries, then get a tram to Soller have a wonder and then get a train back to Palma to get the coach back ... Well we only had 5 minutes in each place, just about able to buy a drink then we had to go, most of it was sitting on the coach, and the 'scenic' train journey was covered ever by a tunnel or trees! Felt like a bit of a waste!

Overall it was a nice get away to relax and also a few good nights out!

Have just returned from This Hotel having spent 5 nights on a lads Golf Trip, This Hotel is value for money and the half board food is more than adequate. The Staff are very obliging and friendly and the rooms are kept clean on a daily basis. It is within 500 yards of BCM square but can also be viewed as not to far to walk back to at the end of a busy night! If your going on a lads (or girls) trip then the price would meet everyones budget. Would I go back? Yes with the lads, No with my wife :)

Room Tip: If your going as couples then go for a a top floor room away from any noise late at night.

On checking in the receptionist asked “you like music?” Well, it’s a good job we do. As previous reviews have highlighted, a room on the BCM side gets you the bumping radio one tunes from 8pm ‘till 12 and a room on the Katmandu side you get the dulcet radio two tunes of Tom Jones, Rod Stewart and the like from Finnegans bar from 10 ‘til 12pm. Luckily, the receptionist got it right and gave us radio 2! It’s not a problem really as the music stops around midnight and with the door closed its minimal. It’s a point worth noting though. Have you heard the stuff radio 1 play nowadays?
The hotel is run efficiently and like clockwork. Every member of staff know what they are doing and they do it well. Spotlessly clean and efficient friendly service from everyone.
We had a maintenance issue where the toilet cistern wasn’t filling with water and despite reporting it twice it wasn’t fixed. Very disappointing. We managed by shaking the cistern lid and shaking the cistern itself. Poor people next door must have wondered what was happening.
Food is ok. Nothing to get too excited about and there was always pizza and chips to fall back on!
The price of wifi and use of the internet was outrageous.
One of the things we didn’t like was the beer. Not the actual beer itself as Cruzcampo is a beer we enjoy, but how it was served and presented. The beer resembled a pint of cider after a minute or so as all the froth fizzled out and there was no ‘fizz’ at all. This was mainly due to detergent residue on the glass and how it was poured. Pouring the flat lifeless beer into a glass that had been rinsed thoroughly rescued it. Shame it wasn’t served at it’s best in the first place. Go to Finnegans across the road Mr Head Barman to see how a proper pint is served which was excellent.
House of Katmandu passed a few hours. It’s not really for toddlers or very young children. The hotel closes for a refurb with the emphasis on families for next season which means we won’t be returning. The 3 or four families that were there all had ‘tiny tantrums’ screaming the place down, and that was just the parents !! Haha. Sharing a meal time with 200 children for me is Katmandont not Katmando!!
We won’t be returning but we wouldn’t discourage anyone from holidaying here.
