Don't waste your money on this dive of a place, constantly harassed by reps flogging rip off trips and bar crawls etc they don't just wait in reception for you they knock on your door ! Rooms are some of the worst I've come across, basic to say the least. I know it's a party hotel but treat the guests with some respect ! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL !

Visited as a group of 10 girls for my 21st birthday and had the best week! Lovely pool and bar if you want a few cheeky drinks in the day. Rooms were fine as we only spent a short time in them! Reps were really helpful and friendly booked a few things with them! Very close to the bars and clubs! Would go back anyday!

Love this place, rooms are just what u need for a party holiday. Pool area is wicked! Food and most importantly drinks are at your finger tips. Few minutes walk from the beach (which is gorgeous)
It's noisy at night but you expect that being in the heart of maga.
Highly recommend for a fun holiday. Girls (and guys) just be weary of the lookie lookie guys...can be quite intimidating when walking back to hotel in early hours, especially if you have had a few.

after reading some reviews I was a little nervous about what this hotel would be like but I was pleasantly surprised. this is definitely not a family hotel, but if you are looking for a place to spend a holiday with your friends the fiesta sahara is perfect. no, it's not luxury, it is basic but it gives you exactly what you need for a week or 2 of living with your mates and if you're anything like us you're not gonna be spending much time in the room anyway.

the pool is gorgeous, sooo big and cool, and there's plenty of sun loungers to go around but try get down to the pool any time before 11 if theres a big group of you wanting loungers together. the hotel bar is pretty expensive so buying some pre drinks for your hotel room is probably a better option. the hotel restaurant is cheap and delicious and the service is really fast, we ate here most days as it was obviously the most handy. the supermarket right outside the hotel was brilliant aswell! the food was cheap and sold just about everything you could possibly want including lilos and inflatable toys for the pool. the wifi at the hotel only really worked on the ground floor and cost 6 euros for 24 hours so in my opinion wasn't really worth it, we preferred to walk down to Coco Bongos, which was just at the end of the road, and use the free wifi there. the food there was also fantastic but the drinks were also expensive so it's better to wait to get to some bars on the strip where you'll get some better deals. the reps at the hotel were also OUT OF THIS WORLD. we've been on holidays to zante etc before and never thought much of the reps but at the fiesta sahara we got so close to them all and they looked after us so well. they really take an interest in you and don't just try sell you things for the hell of it, they always do what's best for you and give you proper advice on stuff.

the strip itself is about a 5/10 minute walk from the hotel but when you are buzzing for a night out it seems like nothing. theres also, what we called, the food strip which did have some bars on it but mostly kfc, subway etc and this is along to your left when you hit Coco Bongos. also up the food strip there is BCM and BCM square. i wouldn't recommend BCM square, the prices are pretty steep and you are promised deals to get you into places then once you've paid they don't actually follow it up. BCM itself though is a brilliant night out, we only went one night to see Tinie Tempah and we had the time of our lives. it is very hot and sweaty and theres zero room to move though so go prepared and wear minimal clothing and get absolutely smashed! the actual strip is sooo big and after 2 weeks of being there and out every night we were still discovering places we never knew existed. if you take the 5 euro deals from the PRs on a normal night you will only need about 30 euros out with you (including money to get into clubs). our favourite bars were Alex's, Crystals and Jack Daniels. they had comfy out door seating and nice PRs. Nicole from the Valleys works in Alex's, we met her a couple of times, and we ran into Basshunter at Jack Daniels so watch out for them lol. we went to pretty much all the clubs in our time in maga and our favourite was definitely Boomerang. we spent basically every night there. the music is fab, it's easy to get to the bar and the drinks are cheap enough. to get a free bar in Boomerang it was 12 euros too so we used to split the money between 4 of us and then one would get the free bar stamp and keep going up for everyones drinks which saved us money and is a pretty good tip.

while we were there we also done a paint party in car wash which was amazing but of course very messy so don't wear any of your best clothes; the school disco which was our most enjoyable night by far, they played so many old cheesy songs like steps, busted etc and we got a free bar included; the magaluf boat party which can be bought at a stall outside Coco Bongos, we absolutely loved it, drank so much sangria and had a laugh at the drinking games which you don't NEED to get involved in if you don't want to by the way; and spent a day at AquaLand the waterpark. i would recommend all of these activities as they made our holiday so much more exciting rather than just doing our own thing every night for 2 weeks!

so basically this is a review of magaluf overall, but honestly the Fiesta Sahara was a brilliant place to stay. the banter round the pool every day was amazing with the DJ playing a variety of songs from 11am til 6pm, the rooms were cleaned regularly and honestly after staying here once I would never even think of staying anywhere else in Magaluf, it has absolutely everything you need and more! I highly recommend it and Magaluf as a whole!! Best 2 weeks of my life, take me back! OOOOH FIESTA SAHAAAAARA!!!

at first I was dreading staying here after reading the reviews, but I would not want to spend my week anywhere else! rooms are basic but everything you need for spending the amount of time you do in there as I was only in there to sleep before getting ready, and for a couple of hours after getting in from a crazy night out! great location! 30 second walk to some great bars and food places! It only took us 5 minutes to walk to the strip! DJ was awesome and there was entertainment nearly every day - from pool parties to belly flop competitions! The pool area is spacious and you don't need to get up early for sunbeds! the pool itself was lush! staff were helpful with anything we needed, but the hotel are very strict at looking at your bands to show you stay there! reps were crazy! at first I was weary about buying the MCP bands they offer you to buy but without this band i would have run out of money half way through the week! the band gets you into clubs for free and free bar for hours! I'll definitely be staying here again as me and the girls have already decided to come back here next year! I'd definitely recommend Tom Browns for food! and the strip has so many good places! but you could guarantee every night we would end up, not matter in what state at Boomerangs! I keep waking up in the mornings waiting to hear 'ohhhh fiesta saharaaaaaa!'

If you're expecting nice, clean and quiet you're definitely on the wrong holiday! The hotel is what you pay for and if you spend too much time in your room, you're doing your holiday wrong. Few tips though:

The wi-fi is so temperamental there is no point getting it, go down to McDonalds as it's free and a better connection. You can maybe get it in the hotel reception and a little bit round the pool but you will struggle to get a connection so don't even bother getting any!

If you go on the 'party in the park' don't be fooled in to thinking you will actually go on all the rides after everybody goes home! They open the race slide (the reps will make you go down naked) or the black hole. You only get about an hour after everybody leaves as well so don't waste your money - but the water park itself is good!

If you're wanting to see someone over there PRE-BOOK! Don't be ripped off by the prices over there.

Don't get roped in to the 'naughty reunion' - They make a killing out of people paying deposits over there and not actually going!!

When we booked our holiday we asked if we could extend our time in the room but they said you can do that when you get to the hotel. The first thing we asked was that as our flight was not until 3am and we had to be out of our room by 11am (a whole day of tanning wasted!), but the reception staff were very abrupt and said completely no, so if you haven't already booked - and I haven't already put you off - try and get a day flight as you don't want a day there sitting in reception.

Yes the hotel is basic and very simple. The rooms are basic and was a little tight for 4 of us. However i presume most of you reading this are going Magaluf to party and not to stay in the room therefore it is ideal for young groups of boys or girls. The balcony's are big to sit and recover on and the pool area is class. Tunes are playing all day with a massive pool and everyone is of similar age therefore there's always someone to talk to

Yes they will deduct money from your deposit if you break stuff, my room was left virtually how we found it and got full deposit back with no problem. The security are strict and to get people back to the hotel is a struggle. (reps can help if you ask nicely) All the reps are a good laugh, we bought the wristbands and they do work out to be good as the MCP bars/clubs we found to be the best. Pirate show is recommended as is the Pirates restaurant on the beach.

Overall the hotel is good, i'd go back there again, there is a good atmosphere......everyone is up for a laugh and the staff, cleaners etc do well as it can't be the easiest place to work. If you are expecting a plush, modern hotel with nice rooms this isn't for you. If you want somewhere to sleep, get ready which is clean, lively, in a good location and has a wicked pool area then this is the place to stay

Room Tip: Ask for poolside view, can be more noisy but a lot more going on
