This is not the first time that we have enjoyed a meal here. We love Mallorca and enjoy driving and walking in the area around Orient which is pretty much unspoilt.

This is not a fine dining restaurant, but a fabulous 'local's' style place with a pretty vine strewn terrace and attractive indoor seating. Knowing from previous experience that the portions are generous, we opted for the bread and olives before tucking into huge entrecote steaks, fillet steak and delicious suckling pig. The plates came with gorgeous home made chips and small salad. The wine list is small but between the five of us we enjoyed 2 roses, 1 red and several beers. Our bill was 175 euros which we were more than happy with as the meat was perfect which made the meal perfect.

Very good cooking. My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights and we took our dinner here on 7. The talented chef made a curry for me specially one night - very good!

Nice traditional restaurant and cuisine, friendly owner. Food was tasty and portions are huge. Pretty expensive for what it was, but there aren't many options in Orient. Think the views would be lovely for lunch.

Orient is such a small village that you really don't have much of a choice when it comes to restaurants. We had lunch at this place one day. Food was ok, but nothing special. Definitely would not merit a drive from another town. The porch had nice scenic views and the service was friendly.

Orient is almost too small to call a village but it is in a spectacular setting.
The scenery, on the day we had lunch, was matched by a very tasty Arros Brut - a sort of rice, vegetable and meat soup. It is delicious but not easy to explain!
With wine and water, and more food than we could finish, the bill came to just under 30 Euros for two. Service is good but perfunctory.
