“Brilliant Hotel”
Reviewed 15 June 2011

We stayed at the Comodoro for 8 nights in early June in a group of 2 couples and a single friend.
The staff were friendly and attentive and the service was great.
Although the hotel wasn't exactly modern it was clean and comfortable.
The food was excellent and far above the standard I was expecting for an all inclusive in Spain.
The pool area wasn't huge and it didn't keep the sun for the whole day but this was fine as the beach is literally right outside and was fantastic.
Only thing was that some nights it was a little noisy with people walking home but nothing that some ear plugs wouldn't sort out.
We certainly felt we'd made the right choice and would definately return.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The location is good for the night life as it is just a short walk away, yet it is quiet enough to be able to relax I should imagine, during the evening. We didnt use the pool (which is a nice size) as the beach next to the Hotel is nice and very relaxed in the day plus it has sunbeds for hire, not to mention the pool was closed for 1 of the days as it had become "contaminated" (not really their fault). We stayed all-inclusive which includes non-branded drinks and food. The barman was freindly and attentive. We only had 1 evening meal on the first night before reluctantly trying the cooked "breakfast" which was just short of disgusting. The breakfast service was non-existant (I waited at least 3 or 4 minutes for a fresh egg to be cooked but no one even aknowledged me and I eventually gave up). We chose to eat out for the rest of the time so needn't say any more about that side of things. The room we had was grubby and tired. There were greasy hand marks on our wardrobe doors and some of the towels were stained (I brought my own anyway). Freinds in the adjoining room had a fist-shaped hole in their wardrobe door as did we in our bathroom door which had been badly filled and painted over - nice. One of the other member of our groups rooms smelled of sewage which got worse over the course of the stay to the point of it being almost un-liveable - and another member of the groups rooms door handle (on the inside of their room) was not fixed properly which made it hard to get out of the room!!!!!!!! The ammenities on the room were filthy. The crown jewel was on the last day when we shut a door that had remained open during our stay only to find what looked like vomit smeared behind the door and splash marks up the base of it with some lumps on the door frame (Glad we didnt persevere with the food as I would wonder what the kitchen is like if the rooms are like this). If it wasnt for the people we had gone away with, this hotel accomodation would have absolutely ruined our break. As it happens we had a good time in Magaluf but we only used this hotel for sleeping and showering in - which was dissappointing as we had paid a premium for all-inclusive. Top tip - AVOID and stay somewhere else.

This hotel was excellent. The staff were always on hand to provide the service you required. There were 13 of us on a stag do and we arrived on Thursday 31st March 11. As soon as we got through the door, they had already started running around after us. Bringing us beer at all times and just seem to drop what they are doing for you. The rooms are good, just rooms but that's all they need to be. The bar service was second to none. Would definately go back and believe we are next year but maybe in May when its a tad busier. Season starts on the 1st April. Overall experience is 10/10 for me. All the lads felt the same too. Top class.

staff very helpful
food always something you could eat
entertainment every other evening
locality right on the beach
what a pleasure to be able to sit on your balcony in 28 degrees all day because the sun shines on the back of the hotel (pool area) looking out at the view of palma nova bay and beach
will definately return in the future

Have just come back, and you could not fault this hotel. The staff were brilliant, food was very good, lots of choices. The rooms were spotless, maids in evry day. Every room has the sea view overlooking the bay and you were a step away from the beach. Yes there were hen parties there, but they went out at night and stayed by the pool or went to beach during the day. Not a problem. The only downside is lack of entertainment in the hotel but you can find it in other hotels , Would go back here again.

we went on a hen party, and there were 13 of us. We didnt stay at the pool, as the beach was far better atmosphere...really chilled, and fun. We met some top folk.

You could take yr drinks from the hotel, and sip them on the beach.
U can buy a sunlounger and an umberalla on the beach...but not just a sun lounger ?????
the hotel is central enough so as you can walk to the strip easy, but quiet enough if you just want to relax.
special thanks to the night staff, who were so kind to me and my friends !!!

We have just returned from a week at this hotel
The food was very good but limited selection .

The beach was lovely 10.80 euro for two beds and umbrella for whole day or part of a day
as previous stated lots of hens and stags in hotel and area.

if you want a quiet holiday this is not for you and the area is very hilly.
The view from hotel room is great but the area is very noisy and we think must be like a
weekend night in the big towns in UK

Room Tip: Upper floors give best view
