Me and my partner stayed in this hotel for a week from the 2nd of June. I had read the reviews on here after we had booked the holiday and to be honest I thought it was going to be terrible but in my opinion it was good enough for a 3 star hotel.

Yeah I agree with the food being mediocre but we didnt expect much more for the price we paid and understand with it been all inclusive.

Definitely needed some more/upgraded sunbeds. Was hard getting one as they was all taken before breakfast had finished. Would also be better to stack them on a night because people made it seem like that they owned them because they had that one the day before. I definitely noticed them getting cleaned every morning though.

The outside pool bar area was lively every night but its expected considering the hotel is located right next to magaluf strip. People should know this when they chose to stay at this hotel instead of complaining about it.

The WiFi isnt great but it wasnt a big deal to us as we didnt go on holiday to sit on the internet when we can do that at home.

The only thing that I would consider complaining about was on 2 occasions after a shower I had found hairs on the clean towels. Which isnt very nice for anyone.

However all in all I think the hotel was ok. Just a bit of advice for anyone whos going to stay here dont go on everyone elses reviews see for yourself because others opinions can be a bit over exaggerated.

This is my second year here and is as good as it was last year with a few changes for the better.

New outside bar which is great and you get served reasonably fast.

All the staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. The gentleman on reception is also very polite and helpful as he must have to put up with some right idiots. The cleaners are also very good and very patient if you get up late :-/

The food can be slightly repetitive but is always hot and nice.

I would highly recommend this hotel for it price and location and hospitality in general I will defo be rebooking for next year.

We also would like to thank you for your comments about our staff and installations. The new Bar by the pool is something we wanted to build since last year and its nice to see that is working as intended.

Your final experience/rating for this hotel, as in most cases, depends on your expectations and needs. This was booked for our group by a travel agency that apparently decided that since the group was mostly college students then "spring-break in Fr. Lauderdale" was what we wanted. The students seemed ok with the hotel, appreciating the fact they would not have to pay for any meals and for 10 Euros per day could get access to unlimited alcoholic drinks. For the adults in the group, this was not a good place to stay.

I stayed in room 36 - single occupancy room on the ground floor. The room was like a dark cave - very small door opened up to slightly larger "patio" (only fit one chair). Even when I tried to open the curtain, it was so heavy that opened it would take up over half the available space. So at best I had 10 inches of "glass" that was visible to let in light. The rooms with double occupancy (actually had 3 single beds in the room) were larger and of decent size, with decent light coming in through the glass doors.

The ground floor location right by the pool area also was not conducive to sleep, as the partying on the beach till 6am sounded like the group was right inside my room (even with door/window closed). Did have someone try to come into my room in the early hours (around 5am) and could only assume it was someone slightly intoxicated who could not remember their room number.

The room was old and needing repair (cracks on floor). The room itself was also dirty - with lots of sand inside the room when I first checked in. Some of the furnishings were sticky to the touch or had a layer of dust. The bed was a solid block with absolutely no give and the linens threadbare. The pillow was horrible. Even though completely exhausted (due to crazy travel arrangements, we only had about 3hrs of sleep the night before) I could not sleep and woke up sore - particularly on my joints (shoulder/hip and neck) due to lack of any give in the mattress.

The bathroom was a joke. Dated and dingy, with weak water pressure. The actual shower came flying towards me (as another reviewer mentioned) From talking to others, mine was also unique in that you could only sit on the toilet sideways: there was a "stagger" in the wall (most likely an internal column) so that a corner came into the bathroom and touched the front edge of the toilet. Towels were extremely thin and did not dry you properly. Not to mention one of the towels was streaked with gray stains (I set that one aside). When I asked for new towels, I was rudely told the towels in my room were clean. When I insisted, the did eventually change them but again with a very put-upon attitude.

No real amenities in the room, plus the A/C did not work. It turned on and made noise, but the room did not cool and remained stuffy. This was true in most rooms for our group. If you are out pretty much all the time that may not be an issue, and possibly on higher floors you could get a good breeze if you open up the door to your patio. On the ground floor, with only the small door present in the singly-occupancy room, no breeze was possible.

Breakfast was ok - basic but about what you'd expect for a 3-star hotel. Lunch was a complete disaster and dinner was only slightly better. Food was completely bland and overcooked. After eating there 2 days, the only "safe" and consistent item for lunch and dinner was the french-fries.

Wi-fi was only available in the lobby - WHEN IT WORKED AT ALL. Most of the time, all the group had problems connecting or once connected having it drop. This was true independent of the device being used: apple(iphone/ipad/macbook pro) vs windows vs android. Using it for anything more than plain-text emails was an exercise in futility. Given that I actually had work to accomplish, that was completely unacceptable. When asked at the front-desk, the only reply/answer I got was that "the wi-fi is working" - and the problem was mine and not theirs. Ended up going across the street to Hotel Hawaii and paying to use their internet for a day.

In the end, this was not the hotel for me and rather than suffer through an additional 3 nights I found another place to stay. If you are going to be going all day at the beach or other activities, much of the above may not matter to you... particularly if you are also going to be out most of the evening. Or if you are looking for a place to party.

But this is not the place to relax with friends or if you need to stay in touch via internet.

Stayed here for a week as a family using 2 rooms 506 and 507. Rooms are basic but ok. Found them very dusty. The phone looked as if it had never been used as it was so dusty and sticky with wires hanging out. The beds were clean enough. The showers were awful to use as they came flying of the hook if you turned the water on too much or turned to point up the way. Ours had a bit of cardboard jammed in it to keep in place. It is very noisy during the night both inside and outside. We were woken twice in one night by what sounded like someone trying to kick a door open. The sunbeds are awful if you can get one. Hard and only one position. They are very dirty and not stacked at night and cleaned like other places we have stayed in. Food ok. Don't understand how they know everyone eating/drinking there actually stays there as no one checks or takes your room number.I noticed a lot of young ones coming and going from the Torrenova area up the hill. No one really spoke to us while there even at check in/out. Appeared to be very few staff around. Agree with all the bad reviews.

Returned from this hotel on 6th June after a 10 day stay .It is the 7th time we have stayed at this hotel ,we love its location and have always considered it to be the best 3 star hotel in Palmanova .The staff are always pleasant and work very hard and can recall us from previous visits ,greated us with welcome amigos which was really nice .The cleaning staff work hard and the rooms are always cleaned to a good standard every day .The down side this year was the hot food (although I shouldn't call it hot as it never was ),Pork Pork and more pork ,chicken drumsticks and wings never had any chicken breast,When veal was served you had to remove it from your mouth after chewing it for 10 minutes it was like chewing leather !.Lack of vegetables only 1 veg usually carrots or broccoli ,and chips for every meal, the salad selection was the only good food .I agree with the review from Kathkc from Newcastle. The poolside bar is a good addition but to keep it open at night and then have to queue for 30 mins to get a drink is shocking .We had family stopping at the Sol Mirlos I think Fergus Tobago chefs should go and look at their food which is amazing .Also a group of 50+ French rugby players were there for 4 nights and were out of control around the pool in the day, no one else could go in the pool and very noisy all the time the staff had no control at all ,this was very unpleasant for familys with children .The staff at this hotel are brilliant. The food is not !!!

Room Tip: Main building overlooking pool is best as you get the sun most of the day on the balcony and the vie...

We enjoyed our stay here with our 10 month old baby, the rooms where kept very clean so big thumbs up to the cleaning staff who where lovely and friendly, we where provided with a cot which was safe and wooden, The food was ok you won't starve but don't be expecting fancy.
The waiters and waitresses work hard as well as the pool staff, very close to the beach so perfect location and near everything you might want, shops all close and bars and places to eat, good value for money and you can pick up most of what you need in shops within mins, shoes clothes smelly ect

Room Tip: Good sea views about 4 upwards

I must admit we were all a little apprehensive with regards to the mixed reviews on the hotel. We needn't have worried, the hotel was ideally situated for beach and 'The Strip' but yet quieter at night - best of both worlds.

The hotel is very clean with towels changed every day. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Wifi available in Reception area only. For 1 Euro, you can weigh your suitcases before heading off to the airport and there is also two massage chairs (1 Euro / 5 mins). Nice little touches.

There is a convenient store across the road selling shampoos, soap, toothpaste, plus alcohol, sweets and food, open late!

Being on a restrictive diet, I thought I would have problems finding something to eat - this wasn't a problem. Hats off to the chefs as there was always something nice to eat: Breakfast from 7.30am, variety of continental and take on English breakfast (albeit Spanish version). Lunch served from 1.00pm - salad selections, soup, mains, desserts with Dinner served from 7.30pm again lots to choose from. Loved the calamari, spring rolls and bread selections. Water available breakfast and lunch.

Beautiful sea views with beach just across the road.

Swimming pool a good size although a little cold in May. Sunbeds hard plastic (I bought a cheap lilo from the shop across the road which did the trick.

Has been mentioned before, would be good for entertainment to be updated a little, although saying that Maria (animation team) was very friendly and tried to include everyone in the activities but wasn't pushy.

All in all this is a great value for money hotel.

Wifi by pool area would be good.
