“Great budget hotel”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

Have stayed here on two occassions in the past - only just now doing a review as I've recently realised how much hotels rely on these reviews.

I stayed once for a long weekend (following speaking to guests who had stayed here on a previous holiday) and again for 10 days on the half board basis.

Hotel is a nice size and staff are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast and Dinner was always nice, I alwasy found something to eat, enjoyed it and felt full. Didn't find the drinks too expensive compared to other hotels.

Rooms were standard - beds were sleepable, shower worked - did the job for something I was hardly in. Have stayed in much worse hotels in Majorca.

Pool was lovely and always got a bed by - saying that did get up for when the pool doors opened.

Location was great - close to everything in Palma Nova and close but not to close to Magalluf - I love Maga but least had the option of both hectic and non hectic.

Would stay there again.

(Note I didn't stay there in August 2013 but it wouldn't let me submit without)

Room Tip: Ask for pool view when booking

We have just returned from a weeks holiday from the Don Bigote. It was advertised as a lively hotel which we had no problem with. The food was fine a little repetitive but in all good. The room was of a good size with A/C pool view on the 4th floor. The main concern I have is a night from 2am until 7am was the noise from younger element of guests returning to the hotel worse for wear. They would be banging on the doors shouting and screaming all manner of obscenities at each other. to be fair the hotel then added more security. We rang security numerous times through the nights, they would come up and within 20 minutes it was back to the same.
I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want to recharge you batteries or have a little peace and quiet. And as far as a good nights sleep is concerned forget it as you won't get any!! notwithstanding the fact that we didn't get in until gone 1 ourselves and that we enjoy a drink or 2 every night .

Room Tip: High floor Pool side

just came back from a lads holiday .. great hotel, great pool area, friendly staff during the day.
room was decent size with air con..never eaten in the restaurant tho so i cant comment on that as we always went out for food as there's some really great steak houses n restaurants close by ..plenty to do during the day .. we had a fifa tourney in bar as there is a ps4 machine .. pool table tourneys ...and internet use for 1 euro .. close to the beach, great bars just 2min walk, n 10min walk to the magga strip. would deffo go back .

Room Tip: close your balcony doors to block out must of the noise the air con was good enough

Stayed here for a friends stag do, and it was good, the pool was a little smaller than the picture makes it look but it's still big enough!
Only bad thing is the food, it's ok just not very appealing.
It's very close to shops and bars
And is only a short walk to magaluf beach and bars

I went for a week for a girls holiday with three of my friends and it was a fine place to call a base. We went half board and the food was good! Was just annoying cause you had to pay for drinks if you wanted them for dinner, and water was like 1.60! Our room was also quite annoying cause the air con wouldn't go very cold, so the majority of the nights we slept with the balcony doors open to let in a breeze. There was a safe in the room but you had to pay 3.50 a day for the key... And you could pay 3.50 a day for a mini fridge plus 20euro deposit which you got back at the end. We did that cause we didn't want warm water! Wifi was 3.50 for the day I think, or 15euro for the week, which is quite good, but I didn't bother :P There was plenty of shops close by to get food and drinks, the beach was literally a 2 minute walk, and it's about a 10 minute walk to the Strip, which is easy enough once you work out the way. At night it would be quite noisy so I don't really recommend it if you're looking for a peaceful holiday, but then again, there were more families and older couples than we expected!

Room Tip: Pool side rooms obviously have a better view. The higher up you are, the quieter it probably is, how...

spent 5 days in june ,we are in our late 50s rooms basic but clean had a pool view 2nd floor ,air con a bit noisy.ideal location for bars and beach ,the staff are friendly and have two security guards which keeps a tab on the noisy ones.the food is very good and fresh.a good idea is the pool opens at 9.30,this stops people saving sunbeds.all in all good holiday.
