Arrived as a group of 3 girls who wanted a relaxing weekend in the sun without being surrounded by loads of stag and hen do's. First thing we noticed as we arrived is big groups of women in reception all dressed up, I asked the man on reception for quiet rooms and we wanted piece and quiet and he just replied with 'it's a family hotel' so we thought it would be ok. Whilst there were lots of family's there, there were also groups of rowdy, loud, women and men who seem to like to come back at 1,2,3,4,5 in the morning, bang into doors, shout, swear and hang around in the corridor making as much noise as possible. We were on the 3rd floor and it seems like the noisiest people in the works also stayed on this level.

I am very disappointed that noting was done about this and it continued for the 3 nights we were there, I had the worst 3 nights sleep, it's no way a hotel aimed for families as it was full up of stag and hen parties who have no regard for others who are trying to get sone sleep, is it too much to ask customers to refrain from making so much noise all through the night? Quite intimidating at times.

The wifi was 5 euros per day which was expensive, food was mostly Luke warm and not the best choices either and the only option of drink at lunch time was an orange juice, apparently tea and coffee are only allowed at breakfast!

The rooms were ok but some sound proofing would of been appreciated or some doors that don't slam quite so loud so you don't get started and jump in your sleep time after time through the night.

Reception staff.... On checking in we weren't really given any information on anything to do with the hotel, where things were, facilities etc apart from a printed sheet, it says snacks but then you have to search for where to go for them and still didn't have a clue as thought maybe down in restaurant but that was closed until lunch time when it opened at 1pm.

Drinks....good selection but 2 drinks per person is bit over top, 3 of us so 2 went to get us 6 drinks between us 3 and the man said no, your friend has to come up for her own two, crazy

Up the hill ok, didn't realise right near magluf as never would of gone there otherwise, definitely won't stay here again or recommend to anyone as over all I am disappointed.

I can't describe how disappointed I am/was with this hotel. Three of us (mid thirties) booked this as a much needed weekend break. We spent many hours reviewing the hotel to ensure it would not be seedy/tacky/trashy and were looking forward to a weekend in a 'family' hotel. Upon arrival the first thing we saw was a group of females dressed as a 'hen party' immediately we though 'here we go....' And asked at reception if there was a quiet area of the hotel we could stay in and we were assured that it was 'just a hen party' and not to worry as it is a 'family hotel'. We thought maybe we were over reacting yet by bedtime (about midnight) we knew our first impressions were correct, the holiday was going to be a nightmare. The noise all through the night was horrendous, groups of girls and men shouting in the corridor all though the night (and I mean until 5:30am). We barely slept and exactly the same happened for the next row nights. On the final night I was so angry I wanted to go and confront the inconsiderate noisy group of girls that were pretty much shouting outside out rooms but thought against it as if people thought it was acceptable to behave in this way, who would know how they would react when confronted and drunk. The next idea was to telephone reception to ask them to act but we could not find a reception phone number anywhere. Not surprising really as the info given by the hotel upon arrival was sparse. However, as the noise was so loud and the hallways were echoey, we were confident that reception would hear the racket and send security up but surprise surprise, nobody came and the noise continued through the early/late hours of the morning. We came home today and I have never been so glad to end a holiday and get home. We will never, ever return to this hotel and think that it's a real Shame. It was advertised as a family hotel yet turned out to be exactly what we would have expected to gave found if we had stayed in the middle of magaluf.

Room Tip: None as they seem reluctant to accept that people don't always want to be in the middle of a hen...

Arrived 8th - 15th May - definitely a child friendly hotel, my 4 year old loved it as so much entertainment. The rooms were clean and had towels changed every day. A wide selection of food and separate children's buffet. Also you are allowed to eat in the Italian restaurant if you book between 10 - 11am and the food was fantastic. The chef even brought out a rabbit made out of a kiwi for my daughter. Nothing is too much trouble. There were a couple of stag/hens over the weekend but there were not no trouble and they are not around the children's pools. Very close to everything and the hill was not a problem as was not that steep. The upside down house at Katmandu is not to be missed as brill for children and only a 10 min walk. would definitely return to this hotel again.

Stayed in this hotel from 6-13th May, for been a family hotel there were a few stag and hen doos who were very rowdy, the food wasn't very nice and not much choice for kids, however the last day we were there they opened up a seperate Buffett for the kids, I was disappointed they did not have free ice creams behind the pool bar you had to pay for them or eat free ice creams in the restaraunt, you also had to pay for wifi which I thought was a bit of a disgrace, the staff were friendly and the kids entertainment was really good, the hotel was clean and the beds were really comfy, the hill didn't bother us as it wasn't that steep, had a great time on holiday but don't think I'd return to the hotel with my son due to the stag and hen doos and the food

Just arrived back, was there from the 3rd - 10th May, and the season is now in full swing at the Hotel. It most definitely is a child friendly hotel, with excellent child facilities. 3 pools, one splash pool, one toddler pool and one adult pool, the splash pool was very suitable for young children. I travelled with my wife and 1 year old, and he was able to stand in the splash pool. There is also plenty of room to sunbathe. For us, there weren't really many compliments on the food, it's a decent buffet, with plenty of options. They do have a microwave to heat baby food, which is a bonus. Rooms are a good size, and fairly comfortable, and all other hotel facilities including the entertainment are of excellent quality. It's also only a 5 minute walk downhill to the beach, and the sea front, which is definitely worth a visit, with many shops, bars and restaurants. Though it's close to the Strip, the Hotel is far enough way to avoid the noise and hustle and bustle of the evening. One thing to take into account, is that there is a Hotel directly next to this one, that is aimed at 18-25 year olds, so the music is very loud, it starts in the afternoon, and finishes around 11pm. You do get used to it though. A massive bonus and what stands out the most, is the excellent staff, they are all extremely friendly, and happy to cater to your every need!
The wifi is not fantastic though, and actually you are better off using the internet on the PC's in the Reception, it's only a couple of Euro's and at least it works! Overall though, a very good stay, and well worth the week away!

Room Tip: Make sure you choose a pool view room - the higher up the better the view!

Arrived on a sat morning with smooth transfers to hotel and met by the lovely and very friendly reception, that helped us sort safe keys and kettles etc!! There were a few Spanish couples there but they loved our girls (3 and 5) and encouraged them to say hello and thank u in Spanish! There was plenty of space around the all 3 pools with drinks never being a problem to get.. I booked the kids in a few Thomas Cook kids clubs but found the much preferred the family club games by the pool!! Emily, Steve and the team were amazing with the kids.. They came and picked up the girls and returned them to us if they'd had enough or the game had finished, my youngest called them her teachers and as soon as she saw them she'd get her shoes on and hat and off they'd go! But by tues the atmosphere had changed, the Spanish had gone home and the Brits had arrived and I sometimes felt very uneasy letting the girls walk about as there was spilt drink and swearing by big groups of hen and stags!! We had a sea view on the 5th floor and it was very peaceful, we made friend with another couple on the 6th floor pool side and it gave the hotel a different atmosphere.. The lively hotel nxt door had music playing loudly from 10.30- till later and while by the pool it was nice to listen to I don't think I would of said that at 11pm trying to sleep!!
