We arrived the day the hotel opened this season, and from the start we could not have been happier. The staff were the friendliest I have ever encountered abroad, they could not do enough for you. The room was clean, simple but spacious. Their was always a great selection of food - the chips are fab! Their lasagna was awful, but nothing's 100 spot on all the time. It rained a lot in the first few days so we did spend a fair bit of time in the hotel, and it did not tire. I know a lot of previous reviews said the spirits were watered down, but our group did not find this to be the case. When the waiter asks you if you're sure u want the absinthe, take heed! A few harsh hangovers were had....
The hotel is literally over the road from the beach and Magalluf only a 20 min stroll away. McDonald's over the road and plenty of shops.
Overall, this hotel was an absolute bargain for what we paid. I would definitely recommend to others. Pedro the waiter was always so very happy and helpful, the hotel was clean, their is no problem with the food and the booze plentiful and strong!

This will be my second visit and was getting concerned after reading recent bad reviews so I called the hotel supplier who I booked through and he informed me that the hotel does not open until the 27th April therefore how can anyone can review it?
I am a travel agent myself and we were more than happy with our last stay.

the only good thing about this hotel is its location right on the beach.. the breakfast was terrible hot dog sausages undercooked eggs ( the whites actually clear and see through ) cold baked beans and drinks machines crawling with ants, Other meal times no better mainly stews with Hugh blobs of floating fat, or chicken coated in garlic in a very small and overcrowded dining room much like a school canteen , The main bar is only open for a couple of hours in the day time so the only place to get a drink is the small kiosk at the back of the hotel near the small pool this has 4 windows all queuing to get drinks and only 1 person serving even in high season ( big big queues ) the only snacks available were tuna fish or cheese sandwiches which tasted like they had been made the day before the bread was so hard, we hated hotel so much that we asked for a refund but got refused we also asked to be moved to another of their hotels refused again, i have never ever asked any hotel that before
so we had to stay and eat and drink out for the rest of our stay, Palma nova is really nice resort and has lots of good hotels i will be gong back again in the future but i wouldn't stay at this hotel if it was free and neither should you

Hotel right on the beach front which is good for access to the beach & Palma nova generally. Hotel a bit tired particularly the rooms which need updating. Generally good selection of food for AI, particularly as only 3*. Pool quite small and bathing area around the pool. For the price paid we would stay again. Negatives are that the room did not have a TV for a quick catch up for news, etc. which is now very rare for most modern hotels not to provide this facility.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view room.

Stayed all inclusive, nice but basic food. They made packed lunches for free when you are going on a day trip!
It is in a great location - approx 15 seconds from the beach! Also near mini golf, cafes, mcdonalds, restaurants and touristy type shops.
Good atmosphere, clean, friendly. No complaints :-)

Family holiday, excellent location with great views, friendly staff and reasonable choice of food, all fresh, good choice of drinks. We had a large room to the back of the hotel it had four large beds in and was very clean (I run a hotel myself and i am always over the top with cleanliness)!! The downside was we had lots of stairs but turned out to be worth it as so quite on a night and we had an excellent view. Love the front terrace, often sat and watched the world go by on an evening and just across the road is the beach, to the front of the beach there is often disney characters and artists to watch on an evening too. Mcdonalds straight across the road which the kids loved on a night. Not many seats in the bar area for the evenings entertainment but never bothered us as we like to take a stroll. Well situated, nice steady 20 min walk into magaluf if you like the busier night life. We found the pool area very small and you do feel like you are on top of each other but the hotel do have a policy where the doors dont open till a certain time for people to put towels down so check this out and send the fella!! Suppose its fair though! We also like the beach so it didnt spoil, Nice little kids club in corner for the kids to draw, paint etc and get in the shade for a while. Would defo return as location and friendliness makes it, oh and the air con is the best, slept like a baby!

My husband myself and 3 children (4 9 and 10) stayed here in june 2012 . We had to have 2 rooms as each room only accomodates 4 and booked the previous october requesting that they were next to each other. We also asked for evening sun on our balcony. However when we got there the rooms were 2 doors apart and both rooms were looking over a canvas wall with no view or sun at all! There was also an ant infestation so we went to reception to ask to move. They said they would do this in the morning and in the meantime sprayed some ant repellent so strong we could barely breath during the night! When I requested to move in the morning I was told there was only one room free that was the other end of the corridor. We said yes as that was better than nothing and this room was alot better than the previous with a sea view. However we barely slept from the noisy guests running around all hours of the night(a fair few stag parties stay here as its cheap) the food was awful cheap and tasteless and the drinks machine always swarming with ants!Pedro and the female manager were the only pleasant members of staff the others were surly and ignorant and very unhelpful.Pool was tiny and shaded in the afternoons. The only good thing was the location right next to the beach. Would return to palmnova but not to the tropico

Room Tip: ask for sea view on higher floor
