“Good location, noisy, durable”
Reviewed 23 June 2012

I got back today from this hotel which i stayed at for three days, and my friends 7. There were three of us in one room - VERY cramped! It had most of what we needed, but the tv could have been got rid of in place of a fridge or something! Complete waste of space.
Bathroom is good, but no hand soap! The maids took the blankets in our room so we had to ask for those back - very odd.

Breakfast is pretty average, there isn't a bad selection and it can feed you in the hot weather for most of the day.

The location is pretty good, our room was facing the strip but it can get noisy if you're not out every night. People come back and when they're key cards don't work make a complete racket. Spaniards next door made a lot of noise, and as others have mentioned there are some foreign people at the hotel (unsure of nationality) that are pretty rude. Don't bother holding a door open for them!

There is only lady at reception with blonde hair who is really helpful and will do most things for you if you ask.

The hotel is pretty average, location is good and it doesnt take long to get to where you need to be, if you want somewhere cheap and close to the strip then this is probably the one for you.

It was very clean and tidy, the room are very basic and it's right at the top of the strip, There are hardly any plugs in the room, 1 in the bathroom and 2 in the bedroom which of one is taken by the TV which didn't even work. Food was okay, mostly lived on their chips, pizza and pasta. The staff are average, as soon as we checked into the hotel the older woman at the reception burped in our face and acted as it was normal, setting me into laughing mode. Also as we were there for a drinking holiday crashing and still half naked on the bed was not a good idea as the cleaning maids just barge into the room and start cleaning around you and moved all of our belonging every day around. a lot of smashing and fighting, on the second night got woke up by a big fight in hotel were the door had been partly smashed down, the door remained like this for the rest of our holiday. Part from that pool was clean but very busy. Drinks are OVER priced in the hotel and are not provided at meals and not allowed to take own drinks in as they will be taken off of you.

On arrival to the Hotel, it looked decent from the outside and walking into the lobby area it looked nice and clean also. The hotel is NOT in Palma nova, its right at the top of the strip (Just past Jumping jacks and mulligans. The lady behind the counter made us fill in a quick name and DOB form aswell as i photocopy of both of our passports. NO 'breakage' deposit was taken.

On arrival to the room the lights wouldnt work (We arrived late into the night) after getting out our phones and looking around we found the problem the light bulbs had all been taken out. So after putting new lightbulbs in we had light.

The room is small, with 2 small fold away guest type of beds there was a table either side one with a phone on it. infront of the beds was a table with a small portable tv on it. (You can get some BBC channels in english on it, and some spanish channels)

The bathroom was good and clean the only thing i could pick on was the roof was low when stood in the shower and i kept hitting it. The balcony again was small with a table and 2 chairs, there is NO privacy on the balcony there was air bricks with loads of holes in that you could see through.

The breakfasts were ok.

The hotel was FULL of teen spaniards on holiday (im guessing loads had come from main land spain, to party following exams or some kind of break in collage) and they wouldnt move for us or anything which is bad, they was shouting at all time of days and night even at 6pm in the morning there shouting and playing music from the home music systems they have brought with them.

Hotel pool was clean and had plenty of seating and sun beds the bar was good also. There was WiFi avalible but at a cost €2 for 60mins or €1 for 30mins.

The hotel staff were nice, and the cleaners did do a good job and never touched any money or things of value we had leaving about so credit where credit is due on that part.

Ok value for money but not great if you want to sleep after a night out.

Room Tip: Theres some stairs on the left hand side as you exit the hotel, instead of having to walk down and u...

great hotel if your looking to be near magaluf for only a short space of time. hotel is clean, polite staff and basic but everything you need. food is very standard but note you get no drink with your evening meal to which we found pretty bad. (not even water). This hotel is is pretty packed with foreigners more rude spanish shouting at breakfast than anyone else but overal a decent fairly close to the beach hotel that is what you need for a weeks stay. would recommend for a cheap break.

We stayed here 9-16th June 2012 and was very disappointed with the size of the room and balcony, you could hardly swing a cat in either. We asked at reception if we had the right room as we were positive we had booked a one bedroom hotel room and we were told we had booked a 'room' not a one bedroom. The balcony only just fitted the two chairs and table on but you couldn't manouvre past them once one of the chairs was being sat on. The hotel is full of groups of young lads and girls (both Spanish and English) and with that comes lots of shouting and loud music until daylight each morning. Rooms have a safe in each room that can be rented. We were under the impression when we booked that the hotel had a gym and also there were mini bars in each room, this information is incorrect. Very basic rooms, although they did have air conditioning and tv channels are few and far between (only about 3 English channels BBC2, BBC3 and film 4).

The hotel staff were all brilliant and very helpful and friendly. The food was okay and quite adequate. The location is superb for the beach and night life.

As long as you know what to expect you will love it but take your ear plugs with you as they will enable you to get a good nights sleep.

For what we paid we did get an excellent deal.

Room Tip: if you want to take children and babies I wouldn't bother. If you have walking difficulties thi...

If we had taken notice of reviews we would not have gone! For a 3 star hotel, excellent.Food was good, plenty of choice and hot.Hotel was very clean and well kept and maid service was excellent.Very well situated,5 mins to beach and 5 mins to Blue Bar Restaurant overlooking bay, excellent bar for midday snacks and drinks. The only downside is the drunken louts from you know where who were in nearby hotels and apartment blocks, but we did not let them spoil our holiday.Overall a superb hotel, very competitive price for 3 star, would certainly go again.I might add that we did not have any rif-raf staying in the hotel during our stay, young and old,no problem, mostly Brits. The only downside, like most hotels out of season,no evening entertainment ,only TV.The pool and area around were great but could have a bit more shade option?Try it,i do not think you will be dissapointed!Martin& Brenda,Alicante

Room Tip: Hope to get a room 4th or 5th floor overlooking pool, and if you are arriving after 20.30 (Spanish ti...
