My girlfriend and I are just back from a weeks holiday at the Aqua Beach.

The location of the hotel is great, the beach is just across the road and other parts of Majorca are easily accessible by bus and boat.

The hotel does have a pool but it is not the biggest. We were unable to sit at the pool side due to it being occupied during the day by boys and girls on what must have been their first holiday without their parents. The reason I describe them as boys and girls is that they have a lot of growing up to do. They sat at the pool during the day shouting and throwing things to each other, at the pool side and from their balconies. They had to respect for anyone else and used inappropriate language when there was family's with young children staying in the hotel, although no one went near the pool whilst they were there. A group of girls showed their true class by walking up the entrance of the hotel to the pool whilst singing "Let's all go f***ing mental". And the managements reaction to this behaviour, nothing, which seemed to the case throughout our stay. During our week here we never once saw the pool area being cleaned and by the look of the retractable roof I don't think that has been cleaned in some time either.

The rooms here are basic, pretty much what you expect from a 3 star hotel, a bed, a cupboard and some units. However, the rooms could be doing with a refresh. The walls look tired and dated and some of the furniture in one of the rooms we stayed in was beginning to come apart. The hotel has fitted energy saving light bulbs but these do not fit under the current lamp shades on the wall very well, so much so that one of the shades in our room had a large burn mark on it. In the bathroom the stainless steel decor was very faded and murky looking. Around the tap and toilet flush button there was a green mold present. The walls of the room are very thin and you can here the people in the next room having a conversation, especially at 4 in the morning when people arrive back from the bars in Magaluf closing. The cleaners are given a very short space of time to prepare a room. We spoke with one who should us a list of 12 rooms she had to prepare from 10 to 12 before new guests arrived.

The food, well what can I say, I am in no way a fussy eater but found the food to be very bland and tasteless. There was very little choice and it didn't vary from day to day. The staff within the eating area are very nice and friendly, they were always smiling and chatted to everyone.

The hotel has a board showing its entertainment, why they even bother I don't know. There is no entertainment booked on a Friday, Saturday or Wednesday and when there is something on it doesn't start till 21:30 and is often finished at 23:00. We often seen people waling by and looking at the bar area, you could tell they were interested in coming in but due to the lack of music or entertainment they walked on. The only reason the bar area was busy is due to people being all inclusive. Again the staff at the bar area are very nice and welcoming.

As mentioned earlier, whilst we stayed here there was various groups of younger guests. These guests showed no respect for any other guest. We found it very difficult to get a good sleep as from the hours of 03:00 to 07:00 these guests would be running around the hotel from room to room, slamming doors, shouting to each other across the balconies, playing music and opening a closing wardrobes. On one occasion when going for breakfast we were greeted with the site of a male sleeping in the hall with no clothes on. In the mornings there were also fire extinguishers lying on the floors which had been throwing across corridors during the night and items of decoration such as plants and painting damaged.

Overall, the hotel sites in a great location and has some very nice hardworking staff members, management on the other hand need to be more strict with what some guests and show a bit more of an interest what people are complaining to them about, I even heard a gust ask the management how many complaints they had had in the morning and laughing as if it was a game to see how many they could get. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, there are plenty of other hotels close by and with a sea front location. I will never stay in this hotel again.

We have to recommend this hotel highly! We're a married couple with 2 kids and we thought this hotel was great. Waitresses Ana and Loli were most helpful and accomodating, bar men Manuel and Michael were marvelous with a great sense of humour and always smiling and even the cleaning ladies were great. Comfortable hotel and we found the food to be excellent. The hotel is in a prime location and will be returning there next year!

Ok so basically we went to maga to have a lads holiday and this was our hotel. The food isn't great but there's an alright selection and if you're not fussy you can easily last for a week on it.
There's a great beach which compensates for the small pool on the hotel. The rooms are simply just rooms not much to complain about. Lets be fair you on ever sleep in the room anyway so it was fine for us. The strip was about a 20 minute walk away or 5euro's in a taxi. For a 1 week lads holiday it's sorted :D

went to Aqua Beach in June 2013 with my elderly mum, we were happy with our room and hotel, the food was excellent and a lot of choice, waitresses worked very hard. However the only massive critism was the appauling lack of entertainment, mum and I had book a hotel which advertised 6 nightly entertainment however we had a kareoke and bingo first night, an old guy singing from the 70's (was good) nothing fri and sat night and the worst couple singing on our final night it was so bad we went to our rooms and read this really let our holiday down as mum can't walk very far so we couldn't seek out other entertainment, but apart from that we had a lovely holiday

Just back from a week in this Hotel, we arrived at 3.30am to not even a how are you, we were left to basically sort ourselves, the night porter was very rude, in fact apart from the manager and Annabelle the Thomson rep I found all the reception staff rude.

The air conditioning didn't work and when sharing a room with 3 other people it can become very clamy. We had a cockroach in our room, this was dealt with my a member of staff which was great.

I found the food edible and the staff in the restaurant were lovely especially Ana, she took the time to explain to us what the reception should have done the night before.

Rooms were kept clean everyday with fresh towels, the maid would normally come to our room about 9am. We had to tell her to come back some days.

The bar area was lovely and the drink was not watered down, you get 4 choices of drinks to choose from for your all inclusive, vodka, gin, Malibu and rum. Anything else you have to pay for at a discounted rate. I found 2 of the bar staff very sleazy and made me feel uncomfortable, every time I went to the bar they would talk in there language and for this reason I don't think I would go back to this hotel.

I sound like I didn't have a good holiday but I really did, weather was brilliant, food edible, lovely beach just a stones throw away and away from all the hussle and bussle of magaluf.

We went to the stadium bar a couple of nights, entertainment was excellent and just across the road from the hotel.

just got back from a lads holiday in magaluf, the hotel was very nice on first impressions, wasnt what i expected but as the week went on cirtain things became apparent.
For a all inclusive 3 star hotel the food was awful, ate from the snack bar more than the resturant.
Alot of the staff are mardy and inconciderate, and frankly rather rude.
Rooms were dirty with mauld in the bathroom and dust on just about everything.
also the pool was very small and not much space to sun bathe or for more than 1 group in the pool at a time.
one thing i cannot fault this hotel on is the location, 20 seconds walk from the beach with a amazing sea view from the balcony.

i would not recommend this hotel for a lads holiday due to the restrictions at night time, the walk into magaluf strip, and the lack of pool space.
