My partner and i booked this trip through Thomas Cook, it was 18-30 which we didnt want but it was a brilliant holiday!! the room was the perfect size for 3 people with a kitchette, fridge/freezer, a simple bath room with a good shower and a good sized balcony. safety security box is 30 euro for the week and is in the wardrobe - highly recommend you use it!!)
there is a taxi rank right out side, a spar shop with cheap booze down stairs and the "kompas" bar which has the friendliest staff i have ever met! they do excellent food and have a pool table. the beach is right across the street and is very clean. magaluf is a 5-10 minute walk (the beach there has clear blue water :) ) there is lots to do, we went parasailing 70 euros for two people, scuba diving 70 per person for 2 hours (induction) there is good nightlife but i wouldnt reccomend paying the 215 euro for the whole week with the reps - it is a rip off!!!!!!!!!! that basically only pays you into the bars! do go to magaluf and see the pirates show but you can book this at anyone of the little excursion places (and other things like western park - water park - which is a great day out for 22 euros) dont be fooled by the euro everything is still expensive including food and booze and be careful buying stuff at the airport!
the only thing i didnt like about the holiday was the other people staying at our hotel they were insanly noisy - but its not something you can make a fuss over especially because of the type of hotel. but all round this is a great place!!

I went with 3 other friends and got back yesterday. This hotel is basic, and it's simple but who cares? We paid next to nothing, we got comfortable beds, a kitchen, a ibig fridge and a balcony. Not to mention the amazing staff downstairs in Kompas. Sid, Alex, Gonzalo, Pete, they were the friendliest people in the world. Magaluf is a 4 euro taxi or a 10 minute walk away, there is a taxi rank right outside, and a spar next door which has THE cheapest alcohol and things in the whole resort. There is no pool and i thought that would bother me, the beach is across the road and is gorgeous. I am desperate to book there again, it was the holiday of a lifetime.

Went to this hotel in july, was the best holiday ever! we stayed at the villanova apts. upstairs from a cafe, spar, careoke bar and the beach. Bank just right outside with taxi rank right outside the apartments. The guy cid who worked at the cafe was a really nice guy. Our bolier was leaking and the man was up in 5 mins with a brand new boiler he said it would take about an hour we left the man in our room and everything was fine! There were 6 of us but only booked 2 rooms, they gave us an extra room which was great! They supplied us with travel plugs and a ghetto blaster, and no limit to when your music has to be turned off. could'nt hear anyother guest's. 5 mins walk to magalluf and only a cupple of euros in a taxi we went on an 18 to 30's and are booking up for next year AGAIN. Absaloutly AMAZING

Ok, so i went to stay at the Villa Nova apartments with friends over summer 2008. As it was my first 18-30s holiday i didnt know quite what to expect!..If i could offer one bit of advice about these apartments, its not suitable for older people, a romantic holiday, couples, or if your going away to chill out, . The rooms are clean and has everything in what you need, kitchen, shower and somewhere to sleep (with a balcony...not that it offers much of a veiw). Its a handy place because its so close to the beach, they are above a spar which is handy to get cheep booze and food from and its not too far from magaluf strip. As its an 18-30s holiday, you will probs not be getting much sleep anyway so im not going to warn you about the noise/partys from the other apartments each night. The only problems i found about this place was it had no pool! which is alright because your able to go in other hotels to use their pools anyway and you may not feel all that safe if you are going home alone at night! Security isnt that great and its a dark entrance to your apartment. Other than that, i had a great holiday and would probably go back to villa nov with friends in the future.

ONE WARNING! dont get roped in to buying the 18-30s deal which we did. I ended up spending half my money on the first day with the sound of free bars, booze cruise, and endless bar crawls.. this is not all what you expect!..you have to go out every night at 8pm, following all the club reps to get into all the clubs (if you lose these, you miss getting in for free) the free bar isnt untill the end of the night when your wasted after excessive alcohol drinking all night.
