We stayed here on an All Inclusive basis from 14/05/2014 - 25/05/2014, the staff are really helpful and friendly and can't do enough, - a definite asset to the hotel. As in Andy W's comment the Hotel Director is 'hands on' and the hotel staff seem very happy working there and this shows in their attitude towards hotel guests. Tete, Maria, Sasse, Luis, Antonio, Juliette to name but a few.
The food is varied and of excellent quality, always freshly cooked and hot food served hot!
We emailed the hotel to request a 1st floor room with a pool view, which is exactly what we got.
Our daughter and her husband who were with a different tour operator were given a room on the same floor also - excellent.
The entertainment staff were very good with the kids, and the acts were good. The hotel did seem to wind down about 11pm but that didnt bother us as the waiters were still there until 12 if we had wanted to stay.
There are plenty of pools at the hotel and a seperate section for adults with large double sunbeds, also nice gardens to sit and enjoy the sun.
We thought the rooms were good, nice and clean with plenty of space, Would we stay here again? - definitely we are going back in September - 5 Star service all of the way!

Room Tip: Pool view rooms are good

We stayed here on an all-inclusive basis, and could not fault any aspect of the facilities - the food was wonderfully cooked and varied, the drinks menu was extensive, the waiters and barstaff were attentive and pleasant, the apartment was spacious and clean, the gardens and pools were also clean and attractive, and the entertainment and reception staff were courteous and enthusiastic.

The hotel is really in Magaluf, and the nearby bars and restaurants were a bit Brits-abroad, so we were glad to be all inclusive. Loads of families with young children at the hotel which meant that as soon as the nightly entertainment finished (at 10pm) the bar area emptied and the atmosphere disappeared.

The hotel director was noticeably hands-on, and the staff all seemed very happy to be working there - that certainly helped to create a great holiday experience.

Room Tip: Ask for an upper floor room with pool view

We just returned from one week A/I holiday at this hotel with my husband and two kids (3y6m and 2y4m). I cannot thank enough the entertainment team - Heidi, Laura, Hanna, Caroline and Youri - they are amazing with the kids. We planned to stay at the beach for the most of the days but our kids did not want to leave the hotel. There are many different events for the kids throughout the day - T-shirt painting, ball-games, treasure hunt, face painting, mini disco etc. The entertainment team was amazing with the kids and all the kids loved them.
If you want to have a great holiday with your kids, I suggest Viva Palmanova. Go there, your kids will have a holiday to remember.
Great thing about this hotel is that most of the quests are families with kids, so nobody will give you an evil eye when your kid is laughing too loud or is crying or doing something else totally normal for a kid/baby.
The food was nice at the hotel, staff was very friendly (but that is to be expected in Spain, I think). Rooms were ok. Beach was close and very nice. Also the pools were ok at the hotel, water was a bit cold though. In May it's normal and the kids did not mind really.
There is a heated pool too but it is in the relax area for 18+ only. Water at the inside pool was warm too but we did not use it.
I highly recommend this hotel for families with kids traveling to Mallorca!

Our family has stayed in Viva Palmanova four times. We'll go there again this summer. Children love the hotel, many swimming pool, activities, very good all inclusive and friedly staff. This is a hotel where you want to go again. We've never been dissapointed! Only one minus comes from the rooms, they look more like 3star hotel rooms. I highly recommend Viva Palmanova for everyone who is travelling to Mallorca!

Well I have so much to say I don't know where to start. I booked this holiday through Travel Republic and flights through Easy Jet. I travelled with my husband and two children aged 9 and 3 on the 6th May for 11 nights self catering.
Hotel was under half an hour on the bus from the airport. Staff on arrival were very friendly and hotel reception is beautiful. We stayed on the first floor with a pool and stage view room. The room was beautiful, huge bed, lovely bathroom with great power shower and hairdryer, ample kitchen and spacious lounge. Balcony with clothes dryer and table and chairs. We arrived late at night so the hotel provided us with a large bottle of chilled water.
The pools are beautiful, both the children loved the slides and pirate ship. The hotel provides beach towels free of charge which can be changed three times a week by the pool and returned at the end of your stay. In self catering rooms tea towels and washing up liquid was also provided which was handy. The hotel also has a washing machine and tumble dryer which is free of charge, you just need to buy washing tablets in shop which is cheap. There is a football pitch near the pool which my son loved and a park with a trampoline and bouncy castle which my daughter played in everyday. The food in the hotel was beautiful and quite reasonable, we ate there a lot. The waiters were all lovely and great with the kids. There is loads for the children to do throughout the day with the Hotel reps, games, painting, football, face painting etc and they were fantastic with the kids. Every night there is a mini disco and a show afterwards for the adults, we watched a fair few they had a grease lightning show and abba night and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The entertainment finished around 10:30 which was great as the hotel was lovely and quiet when I put my daughter to bed.
The beach is only a five minute walk away and it is close to plenty of shops and restaurants if you like to eat out.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely be going back again for two weeks next time, would stay for longer if we could. We had lots of tears from the kids when we left.
Thanks for such a brilliant time. Best holiday we have ever had.

Just returned from a weeks A/I ,at this hotel with my husband ,son, his wife and 3 grandchildren aged 5yrs 4 yrs and 18 months. We found the hotel great for families and the bar staff ,waiters and entertainment team were very courteous and attentive. The pools were very cold and maybe should be heated at this time of year. The food was of good quality, but too much turkey and pork We only had one complaint , on arrival we were asked to pay 28euros for the babies cot. There was no mention of having to pay locally for cots in the Hotel terms and conditions .This is the only time we have had to pay for a cot especially on all inclusive , so come on ViVA have a rethink and refund our 28 euros

Room Tip: Pool view is best otherwise you are facing the road

I booked this hotel/resort as a part of a package. I'm a bit confused with this hotel/resort. Service is absolutely 5-star, but rooms are tired and something i would expect to find in a 3-star hotel. Cleaning wasnt that impressive either. But lets get back to get good things: Pools are good, even for the kids.
The staff is amazing, everyone did more than expected. We had a problem with our bed and it was fixed promptly. Breakfast was excellent and alternatives were offered for people with food allergies. The entertaintment offered on this resort wasnt to my taste, but it looked like it would be appealing to many guests. So, a bit of redecorating and hiring more cleaning staff this would be 5-star. The store in the hotel is convenient but expensive.
I would consider staying here again.
