“A lovely hotel!”
Reviewed 21 April 2009

We have just returned from a long weekend at this hotel and have to say it was really good. Unfortunately the weather whilst we were there was not too good so could not spend our days lazing by the pools which was disapointing as they were so lovely. The kids did manage to get into the kids pool on the 1st day which they enjoyed and thankfully there is an indoor pool which we all used. The rooms were fairly small but adequate and we had a lovely pool view. We decided to go all inclusive which was really good. Buffet breakfast, followed by snack bar for lunch, anything off the menu and then buffet dinner. Premium drinks included in this deal which was fab. The only thing i can say about the food is that it can get a bit samey.
The service was really good. The staff were very attentive. There was an evening bar member which was a bit rude, i just don't think he liked English, but the others were great and could speak good english.
The location of the hotel was a good. Just a short walk to the beach and there was a bus stop nearby where you can pay just over 2 euro for a bus ride to Palma which is highly reccomended.
Overall a great hotel with a good kids club. My kids did not want to go home which was a good indiaction. We would go back but in the summer when the weather was a bit better.

We had a great week on holiday at Viva hotel. rooms are a good enough size but we only had a baby with us, it might be tight with toddlers. Facilities very clean and the staff very friendly. Outdoor pool lovely but too cold to swim in April, Indoor pool was nice but busy with children most of the time. Palmanova is a lovely resort and would definately go back, Palma city was also lovely and well worth a visit too. The hotel is very focused on children from 5 upwards might not be ideal for people with out children. ONe small point we stayed 7 nights and we wanted a late check out on the last day and we had to pay €18, it was not much money wise but after paying a lot for the week

this hotel was the best hotel i have ever stayed in. i flew from liverpool to majorca we booked self catering. when we got to the hotel we were delighted when we saw the recepition. it was so clean.
the the staff were very helpful and very friendly. the bedroom was even better. it had everything in it. it even had things you didn't expect like the cuttlery and pots and pans. But they didn't have an electric kettle which would have been handy.
the swimming pool was great but the indoor pool was to small. the childrens pool was great it had water slides and a big bucket that pured water on you. this was a great holiday i would like to come here again. and would recommed the hotel to a friend or a family.

On arrival we were greeted by the friendly reception staff who spoke exellent English, we booked in with no problems. The Hotel looks fabulous its modern with beautifull decor, plants, gardens and facilities, looks better than a 4*. We had a ground floor apartment with patio doors leading on to our own garden leading on to the pool side. The apartment was excellent 10/10 no problems at all, very clean imaculate with every thing you required. There is no need for a kettle as previous people commented, just use the microwave. The Indoor swimming pool was a peace haven and very pleasant and lots of people enjoying the gym. The restaurant was lovely, plenty to choose from at breakfast and economically priced for the evenging buffet 11 Euros for adults. We felt we were very well looked after. There is an easy walk to the beach passing lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The beach is a lovely sandy bay with a lovely promanade to walk along. All in all we thougth it was excellent, good value for money ,good for both families and couples and would happily recommend it to others or book again ourselves.

We stayed at the Viva Palma Nova apartments for a week in March. We were travelling with a toddler and found the pool area was ideal. Baby pool that she could stand up in. Also play park with trampoline, slide, play house and see saw - where we spent most of our day! Also indoor pool (quite deep) for rainy days. Rooms lovely, not that big and the door right off the corridor so quite noisy as we had to sleep in the living area and had the cot in the bedroom. They only have one bed apartments and studios. Voices echo in corridor and doors slamming with people arriving etc did affect our sleep a bit. All in all spotlessly clean, ideally situated and good facilities. Only thing to stop us going back is the fact that they don't have 2 bed apartments.

We recently returned from a short break at the Viva Palmanova and would definately recommend it to others.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, which was spotelssly clean, well maintained (the kitchenette area looked brand new) and had a lovely patio and garden overlooking the pool area. We took the advice of previous reviewers and took our own travel kettle with us to make hot drinks as the absence of a kettle was the only thing that could be faulted really. Everything else was provided - towels, utensils, cups etc, even a teatowel for drying up.

We booked through Medhotels and we thought the hotel represented great value for money. Central location a few minutes from the beach, plenty of free parking spaces outside, little supermarket on site for essentials, and a beautiful pool area - the adults pool in particular was lovely.

Highly recommended.
