Unusual to wrote review when still here but thought worth while
Check in straight forward and easy got out Room early
Room great view rubbish but hey !
Pool area fab v clean - lifeguard let’s you down tho !
Could use some light music on at pool
Food so far great no need to go out and eat same outside.
Great Area few nice bars around
WiFi great very strong
Relaxing week so far maybe 5 nights be enough but that’s cos I miss family lol

Great hotel and absolutely loved the stay here at senses palmanova.

Greeted with champagne and also had complimentary champagne in our room for our anniversary which they congratulated upon arrival! Location is perfect, right next to bars and restaurants so you have a lot of choice.

Breakfast was also one of my favourite parts as there was a lot of selection.

Overall, nothing bad to say about the hotel. We was put in the annex which was no issues as our room was ground floor which opened up to the pool. Would definitely come back here again!

One thing I would mention (nothing to do with hotel) if you’re on the beach don’t accept water/drinks from people who walk past as they robbed 20 euros from us and tried to get more! However palmanova is friendly, beautiful and great.

What started as a lovely holiday left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. On first impressions we were in awe. However, the staff are the big let down here and can leave you feeling disappointed.

To start with the good, breakfast is great and the omlette bar is their shining star. Rooms are beautiful and clean and the maid service did a great job. Pool area is amazing and if we do return it will be for this reason alone. Lots of pools, sunloungers in the water, loads of sunloungers around to lie on. Without a doubt better than anywhere we have been before.

Main entrance is not ideally located but everyone uses the dolphin bar entrance which is perfect and just across from the beach. We found ourselves eating meals and drinking there often. The whole hotel appears very disabled friendly and you can tell it's been designed with this in mind.

Now for the bad. Check in was a nightmare with a gentlmen manning the desks at night who could not speak english at all. Won't go into full details but what took place was later denied by the hotel when questioned by our travel operator. This was more disappointing than anything considering they denied it immediately before even speaking with the staff member. How can you deny something when you weren't even there?

Evening meals were not great with limited options and no drinks are included unlike other hotels we have been to before. It just wasn't for us and we found ourselves eating out instead. Lifeguard was rude and very intrusive. Also caught him changing his clothes one morning in full sight of all eating breakfast which overlooks the pool. Why he couldn't do this in the spa or bathroom I do not know.

Drinks are reasonable but this is dependant on what you get. Draft beers are 2.50 as are glasses of cava which were great. Cocktails looked great but no alcohol in them and caught the bartenders intentionally underpouring or pouring under the bar out of sight. Whenever questioned they suddenly could not understand english but were fine any other time. Due to this we stopped buying them early on and we know others there did too for the same reason which considering the price difference means a lot of lost revenue for them. Also prices changed whenever you paid in cash vs charging against your room and the cash transactions were constantly more expensive. Again when questioned on this they suddenly could not understand english and so we started charging to our room so they couldn't overcharge us anymore. 

Reception are also a let down. You can find yourself standing there for ages while they all assist the same person. Not very helpful and hard to get a straight answer out of them either but must say there was a young blonde gentleman who was very nice and helpful.

We had a late night flight and were told we could use the spa to have showers. This turned out to be horrible. This area was boiling hot and not made for this with no access to hairdryers and so on. We used the large disabled shower/bathroom only for it to flood immediately as the drain was blocked. First staff member was apologetic and claimed this hadn't been reported but another member of staff admitted this happened all the time and that the hotel should not send people down for this purpose. Very disappointing as other hotels in the area have much better facilities.

All in all despite the above we did enjoy our holiday and we are already considering our return but only as we are more aware now and would be more aware of what to do. I just hope that the hotel can work on their customer service as that's all it needs to truly be the best hotel in the area which we would happily recommend to all.

Although we are happy to see that you liked the hotel and particularly your room and the pools We are sorry that some aspects, like the bar service or the lifeguard, prevented your stay from being as perfect as we would have wished and can assure you that we have noted your comments and will be acting upon them wherever possible. Just as an explanation and to make things clear, all the prices are set up in our system, there is no way that the waiters can modify the prices, all they do is tapping on the screen selecting products and after that asking the client to sign and agree with the bill. On the other hand, we are very sorry to hear that you didn't feel well assisted by our staff, which normally and according to most of the reviews is one of our best assets. We are happy to read that you had a pleasant and relaxing stay and that these issues will not deter you from visiting us again, and we look forward to welcoming you back on many occasions.

Just back from an amazing 6 night bed and breakfast stay here. We booked the swim up room and it was perfect. We used jet 2 for the booking which was by far the cheapest. I would advise swim up rooms over the privilege rooms. You can access the privilege roof top after 8pm anyway. The privilege floor has limited beds etc. We stayed in room 134 and the swim up area is quiet and lovely. I know other swim up rooms are situated in the main pool area so you may want to check when booking. Rooms were clean and breakfast has a good selection.
One tip- the swimming pool seems to have a loud pump that comes on about 7am for 30minutes so I am glad I packed the ear plugs.
Near the beach, amazing restaurants and bars great place and will definitely be returning.

Have Just returned from a mini break from the Senses Palmanova and what an amazing stay it was!!
Our first time away without our children and the peace, tranquility and relaxation of this hotel was a blessing! We stayed in a swim up room 133 which in my opinion was the best! Still part of the hotel but more to the side so you don’t have others seeing into the room as the ones round the front were too busy we asked for a quieter room and certainly were given it! We opened our doors to sun shine every morning which stayed till late and the views from the pool were beautiful, beach and sea!! Just perfect.. the lady who checked us in (Rijot I think I’m sorry she was little older wore glasses) lovely lady we mentioned when sipping our welcome drinks we were celebrating our anniversary and she had a lovely bottle of fizz sent to our room when we checked in!!
Staff couldn’t do enough for you - breakfast was amazing! And it was lovely never to rush in or struggle finding a table there were plenty no matter what time (I wish every hotel was like that)..
pool was lovely and I never EVER saw any dirty rubbish around the pool only ladies cleaning every day!
The roof top bar is a must to visit we went up for drinks every night & on our last night was treated to a fantastic firework display!
Perfect end to a perfect holiday and will definitely be returning to palmanova as a family as the beaches & place was lovely!!
If you venture out you must visit the Olive tree along the beach front!!x
