Just stayed at theSanta Lucia from Good Friday 22nd to Wedding Day 29th and had a most excellent holiday. We were in room 633 the very end room on the 6th floor with the water of both adjacent bays technically behind us. The hotel has such a wonderful position . We found the restaurant to be excellent with much variety at all times. It can get busy at times but the clue is in the phrase NO VACANCIES, and i don't believe you can get in for the next couple of months. Many, many are returners which is always a good sign . We went half board as we go out most evenings and the 'Strip' in Magaluf is only an 8 minute stroll away . Please don't be overly frightened of this area, it is full of families too and all PR's outside the pubs and clubs are polite and respectful.Easter week was a big week for football and we prefer an ' atmosphere' for this. We did catch a couple of the acts in the Hotel which were well received .The bingo was popular and well organised with a large digital screen and titter ye not as one girl won 747 euros (YOU'LL BE QUEUEING FOR YOUR TICKET NOW WON'T YOU ? ) . All in all a cracking holiday in a great Hotel . Please note the Santa Lucia is a 3 star establishment and does exactly what it says on the tin . One lukewarm egg doesn't spoil your hol and if one piece of cutlery has a small amount of dishwasher food unfortunately left on it, swap it as you would at home. I would finally like to compliment the ladies for the effort made at evening meal time . Some lovely outfits worn by caring Ladies . Similarly to the few gents who chose to ignore the ' No shorts for evening meal ' rule . You weren't clever or rebellious , you were laughable and although we read reports of surly staff we found them to be endlessly patient with British guests who only sit at a table for one week a year .WAIT to be seated for your evening meal as requested and if two of you sit at a table for four at busy times DON'T use all four placemats and wreck the other two places or sit ' Katie ' cornered like some. Regarding the sun loungers , the weather was mixed early on our week but we managed a lounger and an umbrella on the first nice day but the following day , many had cottoned on and queue of around 40 were waiting at 8 for the doors to open.
We did find the room safe at 25 euros overpriced by 10euros.
As a last word we are Yorkshire folk with no hidden agenda or tendency to sycophancy by sweet talking things up . We call it as we see it . We finish as we started with whopping great THANKYOU to the Santa Lucia.

This hotel has a fantastic location - pool / beach within steps of each other!............
All inclusive £500 each for 7 nights in April good value for money!
We stayed on the 8th floor, the top floor, Penthouse Suite! Room 816 a must! 14 rooms on the 8th floor. The views are out of this World! Request a room on the 8th floor brilliant!
The location is second to none. Entertainment acceptable!!! ALL INCLUSIVE = A MUST!!!
The staff are very helpfull and the manageress is a stunner!!!!! The food is second to none and the choice for lunch and dinner are above average and adequate. Indoor swimming pool and leisure facilities are brilliant! Very clean hotel and well run, we will return again and again! The only negative thing I can say is there are far too many negative hoilday makers who whinge and moan about nothing of importance. Just because you are on holiday does not mean others want to listen and join in with your negative attitudes!

Syayed at this hotel one week during school spring hols. was a bit concerned following some of the previous poor postings but ive got to be honest all of our family thought this hotel was just lovely on all aspects. The position is on the beach shorline, two ideal large sandy beaches on each side of hotel, lovely low sloping sand to the clear sea. farreaching views.Location is just perfect for easy strolls.Just walk out side and the cafes, bars, spars, gift shops start along either direction of the quiet one way street . The hotel is very well presented, well maintained/decorated/updated rooms and hotel areas.Very clean throughout.
Helpful ,pleasant uniformed staff. Easy to find a sun lounger, nice but slall outside pool and decent inside one.Meals are plentiful, hot, good choice but nothing WOW, your usual i'd say. and perfectly acceptable. Nice shown to seating restaurant.
Drinks are a bit on the pricey side. 3 euro for 400ml almost pint of Mahou lager with soft drinks a bit high too.
We all enjoyed our stay.Palma Nova has a very good choice of eating out during day and eve with many good value places having offers. When we stay at Palma Nova in the future, we will definetly stay at this hotel again.

Hotel was perfectly situated on the headland, only seperated by a paved walkway.
We booked this hotel two months ago with Ola Holidays via teletext for £290 each all inc. Two days before departure came the dreaded phonecall that the hotel had overbooked!, so i phoned the hotel and they said they do no such thing which i believe, they told me Ola holidays always ove rbook so we were to be staying in Santa Ponsa now. Thankfully, two months ago, i had the common sense to confirm booking via email with the Santa Lucia Manager himself as i didnt trust teletext holidays completely for these very reasons!, and only because i did get email confirmation from the hotel direct that is where we ended up spending an amazing week!!. Very highly recommended!

we have stayed here on many occasions, and have loved every minute of it.
I only have one complaint at breakfast and dinner there is far too much to choose from it took me over 20 minutes just to choose what i wanted for breakfast.
Other than having over 40 options for breakfast and dinner the hotel is absolutely amazing right on the beach, indoor and outdoor pool, very helpful staff, just perfect absolutely perfect, would recommend this hotel to everyone actually all my friends come here now and have the same reviews.
i guarentee you will really enjoy and not have a problem with this hotel.

Room Tip: actually on the beach, right beside shops and pubs
