Have been here twice before and always found the food good to excellent. Visited on the off chance without a booking and as do not care about al fresco dining were quite happy to be seated inside. On past visits have had the set menu and enjoyed it. Our understanding was that
for a very reasonable €36 one gets 3 courses, water and wine. This time we were served 1 glass
and clearly would not have received another without asking. The service was desultory at best
and not because of short staffing. We clearly felt that as non bookers we were treated as non-persons. At least 2 parties of bookers who arrived after us were served first and not in error. The Maitre d' seems to us to be a bit up himself with meeting and greeting his favoured punters and would do well to concern himself with the hoi polio more.
Rant over- it's still very good and an enjoyable experience.

A very stylish restaurant, the staff are immaculately dressed, and offer first rate service.

The food is excellent and also a good choice of dishes including local fish, Ravioli starter simply amazing.

The setting right on the waters edge with the views over the bay are stunning.

A must if you are in Porto Colom and we will certainly return.

A tip, book a table as it very popular

Sa llotJa is situated on the edge of the wonderful Porto Colom, where there is always something on the water watch, especially if you like boats. On my second visit to the restaurant in two weeks I had my usual curry and lemongrass soup. Exquisite. Followed by the slow cooked pork cheeks. Tender and juicy sitting on a bed of crushed potatoes. Very good indeed. The dessert just had to be the hot fresh raspberries poured over vanilla ice cream. To die for.
The views, the food and the service from an exceptionally attentive team, who really seamed to want to please, was outstanding.
Sa LlotJa is not only a special place for special occasions but a special place for anytime. Love it !!

Our first visit to this restaurant worked out very well as my wife only ever eats 1 course and I like more! She chose from the a la carte menu and I had the fixed price menu at 36 euros. This evidently changes monthly. A great deal as it includes 3 courses, a half litre of good house wine and a coffee. First of all the restaurant sits atop an office and has great views over Porto Colom bay, as well as a kitchen open to view. You have the choice of sitting inside or outside and should you be unable to climb stairs, there is a very modern glass lift to take you to the 1st floor.
The lightly curried soup was excellent and the Swordfish Tataki was outstanding. The sweet of the day was terrific. My wife had grilled langoustine which she said were the best she has ever had.
Although this was our first time at the restaurant, the staff were most welcoming and we really enjoyed the evening. The place was extremely busy and a reservation is recommended.
