Cala Marsal beach does get busy, so it would be handy to have a good cafe among those flanking this side of the beach. Having read the trip reviews, we decided to give this one a go. First, the views are good, no doubt about that, with plenty of shade. However you go to a cafe to eat and the food was sub standard. The fried eggs were virtually raw and the hamburger soggy and unappetising. Cola was supplied without ice or lemon, and when we asked for another the bottle was slammed down on the table. Simply a basic cafe with basic food and service, which was also very slow. I can only assume members are giving good reviews because other places on this strip are even worse. Prices are not cheap either!
