Although the whole building is in need of a refresh/update the fact that the rooms are apartments did mean you have extra room which is much appreciated - The food was sufficiently varied although it did repeat during the second week, unfortunately although the food was regularily replenished it was for the most part only warm and especially the veg were cold -

We stayed here after reading the trip advisor reviews. We arrived at midnight exhausted after a long journey 4 adults with a 1 year old. Reception was manned by an elderly gentleman with the dubious job of informing us in pidgin english that they were over booked due to an IT problem and we had to stay in a hostel over the road. Not very happy to say the least. Lugged all the bags over plus buggy and baby. The rooms at hostel spotless but nothing available for drink. Went back over to hotel and were given light snack and bottled water. Good nights sleep never the less.
Went across to hotel early next morning and spoke to manager and the lovely Paula.
Rooms were sorted our daughter and her family had room by 10.30 us by 11.30 and they were lovely. Again spotlessly clean.
We were given upgrades for our distress the previous evening to all inclusive.
All staff very attentive and made fuss of our grandson, some of the best staff I have encountered home and abroad. Food good and plentiful. Pool area lovely and peaceful and plenty of beds.
The restaurant manager was very attentive. One young spanish girl working in restaurant was named star by my grandson who is 17 months as she had a small star on a bracelet and always made a fuss of him.
All in all our holiday was a success. A lovely hotel and area. Beautiful beach. Excellent restaurants at port. Would recommend this hotel and area.

Little disappointed with first impressions of hotel but we had a lovely welcome from Paula at reception who along with Maria and Antonia were very helpful during our stay. Hotel is dated and rooms in need of refurbishment. Food was ok ,sometimes hard to find something we liked but what we did have was always well cooked. Restaurant and Bar staff were all lovely. Pool was too cold and only the brave used it, which was a shame. Also wish that we could have had one or two English entertainment channels as there seemed to be numerous German stations. There was a general problem with the toilet flush which caused a some distress because we had to keep throwing buckets of water down the pan . The very best thing about the Es Corso is the wonderful staff.

We were meant to be staying here but they double booked us as apparently have been inundated with bookings.
We were moved to the portomar apartments but asked to come back to Es Corso for food as Portomar's wasn't good.
Es Corso's food was average, a good selection but the meat seemed very poor quality - the chicken nuggets were grey inside!!
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful throughout

Stayed for a week in Sept 2013 half board.
Hotel not what we expected-very dated, not in a picturesque location, pool located over the road. BUT air con & fridge were FREE! Not very often you can say that! And the safe was only €19 for the week.

POSITIVES- Staff were pleasant & helpful, room very clean, 5/10 mins walk from the beach or harbour, balcony on every room, shower & luggage rooms for day of departure Huge/ lockable/clean- BEST I've seen!!

NEGATIVES- Very dated, views from rooms not the best (car park, other houses, local square), food selection awful and not very appetising (have paid less for AI with a lot more choice & I am not a fussy eater!), beds were not comfy.

Would I stay again- No, but we enjoyed our holiday as we used the room as a base. We walked to beach most days for food/drinks and to relax which is what we wanted. If you are looking for a lazy holiday in a nice hotel that you don't particularly want to leave, then I would not stay here. If you are looking for a base to explore the local area - and want to eat out, then this hotel is perfect.

You can get the bus into Palma for a day trip, but takes 1h 45 mins so we didn't bother. I would suggest hiring a car( lots of space to park by hotel).

Note: this is a German hotel, as is the area, therefore catered forwards them, not a problem, purely FYI.

Really enjoyed our stay, the staff were very helpfull and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The appartment was cleaned every other day with clean towels, the meals were good with fresh food coming out all the time. The pool was clean and plenty of beds, the area is very quiet and good for relaxing altogether a brilliant holiday x

We stayed for 12 nights in one of the apartments. We were looking for a quiet relaxing holiday and that was exactly what we got.
Our apartment had a lovely view of the pool. Some previous reviews mention a smell in the apartments but this was only the insect repellent - I'd rather that than have the apartment full of bugs and it doesn't linger.
The pool was magnificent and there was not a requirement to put towels out at the crack of dawn as there were more than plenty sunbeds for everyone.
The staff were fantastic and we couldn't believe how easily they were able to change from one language to the other - always remembering which language you need after only one conversation with you! The entertainment girls, the manager and the restaurant manager were all extremely helpful without being obtrusive. They made all feel welcome but were not pushy in trying to include everyone in the activities, etc. Even our cleaning lady was striving to ensure our stay was comfortable and insisted on coming back to mop the balcony after a day of heavy rain!
We were all inclusive and for the most part the food was great with tastes to suit most and regularly being replenished to keep it fresh and warm. As a vegetarian, some meals were a bit of a struggle though. The salads were always very fresh but there was a bit of a lack of imagination for hot dishes (some days the menu for veggies was scrambled egg with ham or grilled prawns with garlic butter) but if you don't find the options to your liking, speak to the manager who is only too happy to oblige in having meals made to suit your tastes. We found the AI to be good value on the whole but it would have been useful to have a note of what was included for snacks through the day. We have been used to having pizza/burgers/ice cream etc in other hotels but snacks through the day here seemed to be items for making sandwiches only. There were ice poles too but you didn't know about these unless you asked.
Overall we had a good trip and enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: The apartments are a good choice if you want a quiet holiday away from the nightly entertainment in...
