Can't comment on the hotel as we didn't stay here, but the lunch was wonderful and their lunch special was very reasonable. The kids enjoyed looking at the turtles in the pond outside too. Can highly recommend it.

Mallorca is call the Island of love.
In Alcudia's beatiful old town, is the most romantic hotel Can Pere.
The hotel consistant OF 4 rooms and a restaurant, and it is run by the by the sweetest host Malu and Pedro.
The hotel is prefect for a ro antic gateway.
Certainly thes is a hotel we Will return to.

We stayed for 2 weeks in September and it was lovely. Really friendly greeting from the manageress. Staff were very friendly and we particularly liked Maria who worked 7 days a week and did everything from serving breakfast to cleaning the rooms! She tried to teach us some Spanish without a great deal of success!

My only criticism is we only saw the manageress 2 or 3 times during the fortnight and, with a small hotel like this, the presence of the management is essential. Also, the other manager was no where near as friendly or charming as she was.

The bedroom was basic but very nicely decorated and with a very quirky bathroom arrangement. Downstairs was just a restaurant (with lovely food) and it would have been nice to have had a seating area to sit in the evening.

The setting is magnificent and it was great to be able to come out the hotel and immediately soak up the atmosphere of the wonderful old town. Some earlier reviews mention the noise of the bells. I can only assume the reviewers had super sensitive hearing. It was very atmospheric to be able to hear the bells chiming in the background. We could never decide which set were telling the right time!

All in all a very nice hotel.

Hotel Ca'n Pere is an amazing stylish boutique town house hotel with a great location in the lovely old town.It is a wonderful place to stay, truly charming. We stayed here for 3 nights in sep with our 3 year old daughter Isabella & we all loved it too. There are only 4 rooms so book early if you can as it is sure to get very popular. The minute you walk in the front door, you know you have found a special place. We stayed in the Mallorcan room on the first floor,it was absolutly beautiful with a four poster bed, exposed walls, lovely quirky bathroom & french doors leading to a terrace. The decor is very stylish & quirky, with the most beautiful pieces of furniture. The courtyard is a fabulous place to have your breakfast.Breakfast is really lovely with a good choice offered, served by friendly staff. The fresh orange juice is divine. They also serve lunch & dinner there to.We had our dinner there on the first night & the food was delish & the staff were great.Malu the owner is a lovely person, very friendly & extremely helpful. She has created a remarkable little peace of heaven in her hotel.

Room Tip: Try & get a room with a terrace.

We booked a family holiday (us and our 3 yr old daughter) through Travel Republic and stayed for 1 week from 26th July 2011.

We loved this hotel!! Quirky, romantic and immaculately clean. After a private transfer we arrived at the town market square and made our way up a small street to the hotel. Malu greeted us and showed us to a light, airy, romantic room which we were very pleased with.

The food was delicious every night and the serving staff were prompt, polite and helpful - most nights they had a high chair ready at the table for us. (NB remember to book a table if you want to eat at the hotel as the restaurant gets very busy and you may have a wait if you don't). The only thing we would say about dinner is to be careful if you are half board - you get 16E towards your dinner per adult, however no meat dishes are 16E or less, in fact only the salads are less than 16E. We didn't mind as the food was excellent and well worth the price!!

Malu the Manageress couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable, and likewise all staff went out of their way to help us in every way.

All in all, for anyone wishing to explore Alcudia and the surrounding area this hotel is perfect.

NB the balcony room has no door between the bedroom and bathroom - as a very close family we did not mind this at all, but for a young couple or anyone who highly values their privacy this room may not be suitable. We thought that this was small sacrifice to make in return for the lovely little balcony overlooking the restaurant which is very entertaining in the evenings.
Also, the hotel is located up a narrow pedestrianised street so you have to walk and tow your bags along to get there; which for us wasn't a problem at all - in fact it added to the character, but for anyone with mobility difficulties we would suggest telling the hotel when to expect you and they will be happy come and help you with luggage.

We will definitely return to this hotel one day and have been recommending to everyone who knows us!

Room Tip: Choose a room with a balcony!!

Hotel Ca'n Pere is the result of a several years project. With care and love,we have turned an old lordly house from the XIX century into a little hotel in the center of a historical village, keeping the character, the essence and the architectonic style of its origin. Stone, iron and light are an important part of the charm of all its rooms, and its selected neoclassical furniture contributes to create a warm and romantic atmosphere. ... more   less
