“Reasonable trip with pleasant scenery”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 August 2014

Did the 3.5 hour boat trip round the Cap de Formentor. The boat itself had plenty of room but, as the scenery is mostly on one side, it was difficult to get a good viewpoint at all times and a smaller boat may have been a better experience overall. The scenery is lovely and I was personally happy just to sit and look and take photographs. We went on a cloudy day, so no over heating or burning. The boat stopped for a 20 minute swim stop, which I chose not to do, but it would have been welcome on a hotter day. My children were happy just standing at the front of the boat getting sprayed by the sea. The boat is glass bottomed and we did see quite a lot of fish, although the windows were quite dirty. The whole family enjoyed the outbound trip but we played cards in the restaurant on the way back, as we felt we had seen all we wanted to see. Overall a little pricey for what it is, otherwise my rating would be higher.

“Got to see Dolphins”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014

We went on the 5 hour trip on the Catamaran which headed off towards Cap de Formentor. We got to stop twice , first stop for hour and half in a beautiful cove.My six year old struggled with the snorkelling gear and didn't stay in water for long.Unless the air lilo is free then a 'rest station' for little ones is a worry with the sea swell. Second stop near Alcudia port for 15 mins, so not as calm/ pleasant. Lunch was ok , but six year old didn't like much of what was on offer. The highlight of trip was they put up the sail and a school of dolphins swam up to the boat. Brilliant. Is pricey and probably wouldn't recommend for younger children.

“Catamaran under sail”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 August 2014

This July my family and I took the "Catamaran under sail"day out. Our family range from 79 years old to 11!! We had a fantastic day. We had the time to go snorkelling, swimming and had the use of their kayaks and life jackets.it is costly but we think it was worth it.. We enjoyed a great lunch consisting of Steak, chicken, pasta and Frankfurt sausages. There is a bar on board. The boat was quite packed but this is be expected during peak times. Tip...plenty of sunscreen!!The crew were fun and experienced. Great day had by all. Thankyou.

“Not sure if this is worth the money”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014 via mobile

4 hour trip to Formentor beach and lighthouse with my family. Definately a bit expensive - 108 euros for a family of 5. Took about an hour to pick up all the passangers (x4 stop along Alcudia beach) and they stuff the boat! Then off to formentor beach (another hour) with magnificant scenery. The highlight of the trip was definately formentor beach and I would recommend the drive (bus , car) rather than the boat trip. We only had 45 min to swim and for this was not enough.

Then off to Formentor lighthouse with exactly the same scenery. The trip got to long and the return trip was warm and boring. Would rather spent my money on the bus trip or a taxi to Formentor beach than the boat trip.

“Shame about the weather”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 September 2013

Didn't get to do two stops as it was a bit rough, but did enjoy the snorkelling stop. Lunch was okay but nothing much for veggies. More commentary would have been nice.
