We are just home after a 2 week stay at the condesa. It is a fab hotel in a fab location. Our room was overlooking the pool & the beach. The hotel is very clean & the food was fine. The staff were all lovely, especially Said. The only thing I could complain about was the weather but that has nothing to do with the hotel. We would go back for another holiday here
The Position of the hotel ist perfect. You are Direcly at the beautiful beach. The food was very good and you have a big choice especially the buffet for the Dinner. The Animation Team is very professionel and we had a great Time with them. It was a great holiday and we will come back far as we can.thanks guys for an amazing trip.
Our review is a little late as we stayed here end of July/beginning of August 2014. Great clean hotel, directly on beach, excellent AI, food good, brilliant pools/slides for kiddies. My 3 yr old son still talks about the 'chicken slide' a year later! Our only gripe was lack of space between sun beds, we felt rammed in and it was a struggle to find some by the children's pool. There was'nt enough tables and chairs either for the evening entertainment and not much in the immediate vicinity /walking distance with a pushchair if you could'nt get a table. We walked to the Port one evening thinking it would be a gentle stroll, bad idea! It took us 1hour and could not get a taxi back! A 2 hour round trip with pushchair! Tourist train though was great and my little boy loved that! This hotel was excellent value for money and if the hotel were in another resort or had a little more around to do on an evening within a 5 min walk we would have returned this year without a doubt!
Just had a 7 day family holiday in June with two boys aged 9 and 7. The hotel and facilities are of excellent quality. What really makes it though is the staff. Nothing is too much trouble, everything is laid on for you and any mishaps are cleaned up within moments.
Our biggest thanks go to the entertainment team who laid on so many events for both kids and adults. Our boys thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the mini disco dressed up as clowns on the stage.
We spent most of our time in the multiple pools suitable for all ages. The pristine beach is just a step away. Anybody who moans about having to pay for a beach lounger fails to appreciate that the hotel doesn't own the beach. IT'S A MUNICIPAL BEACH GUYS!
We had a great time as did grandparents who came with us. All ages are catered for.
Myself and my boyfriend have just returned from 7 days here which we booked at the last minute.
We wanted to have a week to relax in the sun, AI to keep costs down and booked this less than a week before we flew. I was really surprised at how lovely the hotel was for the price we paid.
The rooms are good for what we needed with twin beds and a sofa bed. Bathroom was really nice and we had a sea view. The food was good but tended to be the same ie salads, grilled meat etc. however I think this is pretty standard for most AI hotels. The a la carte restaurant was nice but limited options - not sure if this was due to the time of year or not. The pool is lovely if not a little cold but this I'm sure is due to it being early on in the season.
There were a lot of families here and it is great for kids. Entertainment was really good and there was always something to do if you wanted to ie beach volley ball, archery, Zumba, aerobics etc.
Location is great if you want to wander out. You walk straight onto the beautiful beach from the hotel grounds and a taxi ride to the harbour is about 5 mins away. We walked the length of the beach one day which took a while but was really worth it. We wandered around the shops for a bit and got a taxi back to the hotel.
Weather was lovely - really hot on some days (up to 30 degrees).
One tip would be, if you head out to the hidropark, take you're own food. We ate there and the food was disgusting and overpriced! Around 4 euros for just a burger which was burnt and the bun was soggy on one side and hard on the other plus it is definitely not fast food!
Overall this was a really good value for money holiday at a lovely hotel in a beautiful location! Would definitely recommend.
Myself and my husband and our 7yr old son stayed here from 26 may to 5 june and boy did we have a ball.We arrived miday and were given our sea view room straight away.The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble.So child friendly and safe even for younger kids.The pools are wonderful with different depths to suit all range of ages and supervised by lifeguards all day.I would like to give a big thank you to the animation team who made our holiday so unforgettable.Activites all day long for all age groups.Alexandra,Dani,Danny and Andrei you are sooo nice and boy do you rock the hotel.Our son Corey cried all the way to the airport and we assured him we will be returning in 2015.Our room was just as we expected and the view amazing.The food was exceptional and so varied and the cakes are to die for.All in all I cant give this hotel enough of praise So clean and right on the beach,couldnt ask for better.Be seeing you all in 2015.
