“Great 1st holiday abroad”
Reviewed 10 August 2014

This was our first family abroad holiday and itbwas a great place to start!! Accomodation was OK, a bit dated I would say but we weren't planning on being in the room much so weren't concerned with it being amazingly special, it was clean, towels changed daily but they put us quite away from all the all inclusive section so it was quite a walk but, on the plus side you were away from all the noise so worked out well. They had everything you could want on site, there was a lovely pool outside each complex which meant 1 was never overly busy that you couldn't have a good swim and we could quite happily stayed on site but we did choose to go out and about. We went all inclusive and the food was fine you normal pasta, fried breakfast, salad, fruit etc, couldn't fault the food. All in all it was a great place to start and would go again.

we arrived at 1 30. Waited ages to be seen to only to be told our room was not ready. When we finally got our room it was an absolute disgrace.. There were only 2 beds and a sofa which my son was expected to sleep on. The room was tiny with a view of the very busy loud pool area. When my husband complained they said if we wanted to up grade we would have to pay an additional 160 euros which we did. The room was still bad lights hanging off the ceiling You could not get a spot around the pools because they were reserved the night before with towels. We were forced to go to the beach everyday although we were fully inclusive so had yo buy drinks and food out. We stayed in the Leda 11 Need to pay more attention on cleaning the rooms instead of washing outside the hotel
Please do not go here. Alcudia is a lovely place though

Room Tip: Update the rooms it's like a prison block

Have just got back from 2 week stay at bellevue and was expecting it to be terrible, far better than everyone makes out. Good location, rooms basic but more than adequate lovely view from our third floor aparrment. Cleaning good in rooms linen and towels changed regularly. As for rats my dad saw some by the river but i feel this is to be expected by lakes etc. Kids loved the pool area and the kids entertainment was spot on. Downsides were not all pool bars had ice creams for all inclusive guests, had to walk over to other pools to fetch them. Showgarden had only 2 ladies toilets which there was always a queue for, no baby changing facilities available, however lovely place overall would go back!

We have just come back from a week at the BelleVue Club and we all had a FANTASTIC time. The hotel was clean and the food was of a good standard with plenty of choice. The room was clean and we had a fantastic view of the lake from our balcony. The hotel is in lovely surroundings and there is plenty to keep the whole family entertained day and night. Short walk to the beach but also boat trip is a nice idea and lots easier in the heat. Swimming pools are fantastic. The only things we thought would improve this hotel are air conditioning in rooms and more staff on at the bars in the evenings. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful but a special thanks to the entertainment team especially Michael and Eric, all did a fantastic job and kept our daughter and us entertained every night. We would definitely recommend this hotel to families and i hope will will be back soon.

Room Tip: Sirena 2 block fantastic views.

The list if complaints is endless. The reception staff were unhelpful on arrival. I travelled alone with my two daughters. We had trouble finding our apartment. When entering the apartment the heat literally hit you. No aircon! I had hardly any sleep the whole week as it was extremely hot in the room. I tried a few times to get a fan and was told they'd run out. The all inclusive buffet was awful. I cut into my sausage to discover it was raw. The food wasn't nice at all. The pool area was very dirty. There were big sticky patches where drinks had been spilt and never cleaned. As the week went on it got worse and I broke my flip flop treading on a huge sticky patch. There wasn't enough sunbeds and no sun shades at all. The pool bars only gave out 'free' drinks. You had a fair walk in the heat to the nearest 'free' snack bar. Again the food in there wasn't nice. Filthy inside too with food all over the floor and flies everywhere. Overall worse hotel I've ever stayed in and I wouldn't go back if someone paid me.

We arrived at 4pm Saturday 26 th of july for 2weeks, all inclusive

8 adults 5children checked in straight away staff on reception was fantastic,

found our block straight away, lifts not very good but worked! We was in block minerva 1 pool view other members of our family had lake view absolutely beautiful, rooms very clean nothing special but we didn't pay for special..

We hired 2 fans on the Sunday as didn't have any available on the Saturday. Very hot in the rooms if you don't have a fan!

Pool area/ grounds were well maintained complex was very clean didn't not see any rats etc,

Food we went with Thomas cook which uses the best restaurant, was clean and tidy staff worked very hard, always bringing out fresh food, we didn't have to cue to get food etc.

could not fault breakfast cereal, fruit, yogurt, cooked breakfast juice/hot drinks.

Lunch/ dinner was fine the 1st week but got fed up the second week so ate out plenty of lovely places near by where children can eat free so didn't work out expensive,

The snack bar was good just went and helped your self mainly burgers but after a good breakfast we didn't really get hungry just ate for the sake of it really!

The ice cream for all inclusive wasn't at every pool bar had to walk a little to get free ice cream but you can take some out from the restaurant and put them in the freezers in the room.

Entertainment- absolutely fantastic the team worked so hard great with the children got them all joining in, did football basket ball etc round the pool in the day, the Thomas cook children's club is good for the children, be careful in the show garden as got twigs sticking up in the boards with when it's dark you can't really see them seen a few people trip/ fall over them.

Drinks for all inclusive in the show garden- the 1st week they only had 2 all inclusive bars open but the 2nd week they opened a 3rd bar 3 drinks per person they are very generous with the measures of spirits.

The only thing I would complain about is no air con and no wifi, but plenty of places near by with free wifi.

I was dreading going in this holiday after reading reviews on here but we all loved it! Some people moan about silly things, everyone I spoke to said it was better than what they expected after reading reviews on this site!!

Hotel was alright. We went self catering and didn't eat at the hotel.

The maids clean three times a week, but the one we had never actually changed the sheets or towels, she just remade the made using the old sheets. She swept up and gave the bathroom sink a wipe over.

The pool areas need at least twice as many sun loungers as there just isn't enough by far.

The location is ok, at the top of the main road leading towards the beach, which is only a short walk away.

No air con in the room but it wasn't really needed.

Our transfer to the hotel was horrendous. We landed at 9pm and got to the hotel at 1am. It took so long to get to the hotel as it was one of the last drops. On the way back home it wasn't too bad, taking roughly an hour.
