Just returned from 7 day stay at this hotel with grand - children. I suppose if you want a family stay with young children then the amenities are very good. However if you a re looking for a restful stay then this is definitely not for you !!!!
Booking in was first class. Gabriel sorted us (7 of us) in 5 minutes and provided details of the vast site, and other helpful info. like meal times etc.
The rooms were very shabby .They need a real up date and refurbishment. Bathroom not the best I have ever seen the grouting ranged from grey to black.
Having a meal, say evening dinner was a joke. On occasions it took us 15 minutes just to find a table. We had to queue for another 10minutes to start helping ourselves to the buffet meal. it was a matter of pushing to get the meal you wanted. The food was typical "what the Spanish think we want to eat" Plenty of chips and meat which you would not eat at home. The sweets were very good but coffee and tea after the meal was not provided. They even had a member of staff on duty to make sure people didn't fill bottles with the available water!!!.

The notes which we were given at reception stated that placing towels on the sun beds was illegal!!. People were reserving beds at the pool sides at 10 o clock the previous evening, so by 8 o'clock in the morning there were no sunbeds available.

I suppose if you are happy to put up with a cheap holiday(actually not so cheap) putting up with the noise and crowds then this is for you. Not for me though although the beach at Alcudia was great!.

Room Tip: Most rooms are along corridors and are noisy with shouting people/children until the small hours.

We stayed at the bellevue for 9 nights wish we did 2 weeks none of us wanted to leave, check in was very quick and easy, given a map of where our room was and shown where all the restaurants and entertainment was by pleasant and helpful staff, we stayed in sirena 1 room had a fantastic view across the lake and the pool, the rooms are fairly warm but we were aware there was no air conditioning however there is a ceiling fan and if you close the curtains in room during the day it definitely helps to keep it that little bit cooler or you can hire a fan at reception, rooms were cleaned every other day. Food in restaurant was good never had a problem finding something to eat and the desserts were yummy :) there always seemed to be a lot of queuing going on but don't think many people realised that there were 2 sides to queue from or just use your head and have a little look at what is on offer as you pass by and just go to what you actually want on your plate what is the point in queuing for what you don't even want!! Could of done with a few more sunbeds around the pool but it's not the end of the world when there is a lot of grass area to use....some people are a little ridiculous with reserving sunbeds we saw some people putting there towels out at 12.30am....crazy! Leda pool is the place to be for all the action if that's what your after so much going on and to join in with box fit with Luky was fantastic she is a true star and my niece loved her she has so much time for the guests and would always chat to us when we saw her :) and they do the club dances in the pool kids and adults love the club dances you'll be hooked once you join in with them :) entertainment team are fab they put on some great shows and are so friendly, such a talented bunch (team bellevue 2014 you are fab) you can get the boat from bellevue to the beach 3€ return the beaches are stunning would definitely recommend visiting them :) all the staff are very friendly and welcoming, we would definitely love to visit the bellevue again great friendly family fun in a great complex, we had read reviews of the bellevue before going and were getting a little concerned by the negative comment however we went with an open mind and I would take a majority of the negative reviews with a pinch of salt as we had a great time, and would like to thank all the staff & animation team at bellevue for making our holiday fantastic and we hope to see you all again very soon :) x

Just got back, its shameless & jeremy kyle in one, filthy pool area around leda blocks, chavs wont move for staff to clean, sunbeds reserved 24/7, if you are respectable dont go here, music around leda pool loud till 6pm then lunac bar on strip right next to leda 3 with very loud bad tribute acts till 12 everynight, not a quiet moment anywhere not in room with windows/doors shut in leda 3, sweat box at night unless you pay & hire fan, morrocan bar is a dump, show garden you get bit to death, mini disco same music everynight, cockroach in main restaurant on floor & its bedlam. I couldnt wait to get home from this nightmare, fighting around in pool at 5am...need i go on? Thomas cook should be ashamed to put this overcrowded dump in their brouchures, its false advertising!

Well where can I start, 15th-22nd AUG. I came here with my partner 13 year old and 3 year old! I emailed the hotel direct to ask for a quite room as read reviews on here that they couldnt sleep etc and I was given a room in ceres 11 room 312 and to be honest from what we saw this was the better one but had an infestation of ants on balcony and in the plug sockets in the room by the tv, ceiling light wires showing, bath leaking maintenance men came and threw this white powder but not actually fixing the problem!!! it had a nice pool which didn't get too busy so we could relax and see our 3 year old at all times. leder pool was busy all the time with fighting loud music etc (from what we were told)! the people around the pool was very friendly not like Jeremy kyle at all! had its own little bar that opens 1-6 but be aware the woman working there isn't friendly at all! the alchohlic drinks from the machine are really watered down and she never liked making the drinks up so she was quite rude!
As for the food I lived on soup for 2 weeks before this holiday to lose the extra pounds and said to my partner about the reviews on the food and decided that anything is better than living on soup as we have done BUT is wasn't! really really disgusting bacon with no meat just fat, hot dog sausages for breakfast as they run out of normal sausages, cheap cereal, beans had no taste, paella they cut up chicken with the bones still attached so we were picking bones out of our teeth left over veg from the day before at breakfast time, dry pasta with a tasteless tomatoe sauce or bolonese which they must of used 250g meat in a pot full of sauce, fruit wrinkled as its prob been there a while, the bread was fresh and the cakes were nice. We spent £600 on eating out as couldn't eat there anymore! A waitress rosa was very rude making comments on the mess that my 3 year old had made shaking her head in disgust even tho it was just a typical spillage off her plate which we always clean up after her!! so we complained about rosa our room and the food!! All we had was a shrug of the shoulders and mumbling so I have got the direct email for the manager pablo on the last day to complain to him!
Entertainment for the children was appalling 2 people dressed in bin liners taking to the children what would they find in rubbish bags and dancing around in black bags!!
OMG the looky looky people was allowed in the complex as didnt see one security on sight and they didnt leave you alone!! pestering all the time got right on our nerves!! Other places you see them outside waiting for people to leave their hotel as they weren't allowed in! It was constant with them!!
overall alcaudia is a nice place to visit you got lots bars and restaurants outside the complex with entertainment luna grill was great bistro mar down the port was lovely for a paella!
I would never ever in my life stay here again!! And wish I listened to the trip advisor score before booking! we paid £2000 for flight and accommodation here I know you pay for what you get but I paid all inclusive in salou for a week and it was a star lower than bellevue and it was a 5 star in my eyes compared to Bellevue!! LOOK for somewhere else guys really!!

The title of our review suggests the reality. On entering the gates of Hellvue we were greeted by a 2 hour wait to check into reception, not a mean feat considering the temperature was a cool 35 degrees. The only respite you got from the heat was the 15 minutes you spent in the queue underneath the air conditioning. This was the only taste of air con we were to have in the whole of our ten days stay. On arrival at our room we were pleasantly surprised. Having only booked a studio we were allocated a one bedroom apartment with a pool view. The elation of feelling like lottery winners was short lived. The first nights sleep was interrupted by loud whooping from the drunks who frolicked in the pool at 2 am in the morning. How did we know this? the doors and windows were open this night as every night due to the lack of air conditioning, making it impossible to sleep in the sauna like conditions. A short walk to the reception next morning to rent a room fan was to no avail. This was one of nine trips during the holiday only to be greeted by the camp commandant with a "no sir sorry, no fans left". The food was OK, and the trick here was not to join the long queue on the left, but to go to the right side on the buffet, no queue and the same food. The Moroccan Bar is home from home for all you Brits who frequent workingmen s clubs, the beer is OK and as long as you don't mind drinking out of plastic glasses you will enjoy it.
Alongside the sleep deprivation experienced due to the intense heat was the lingering smell of your own body sweat on your pillow every morning. A smell that lingered all ten days due to the maids failure to change the sheets (i am not kidding). Eventually our family took things into our own hands. We located the laundry room and performed several dawn raids to collect supplies of bog rolls clean sheets and towels. I would like to have seen the maids face on the day we left when she came into the bathroom to find 124 towels accumulated during our ten day stay. The holiday was also riddled with drama, one such moment springs to mind. The moment when me and the wife were accosted by on site security. An incident which started by us being sprung on by two Starsky and Hutch security guards who proceeded to rant at me in Spanish whilst flexing their muscles. Behavior which would normally have been rewarded with a swift left hook, but was halted when one of the toe rags produced a police like wallet badge which had me frozen on the spot, then scurrying for our block like a Meerkat. The free alarm clock was also a mute point. At least two members of the camp gardening team strimming and grass cutting every morning at 7:30am. Enough to wake the dead. Again how did we know?. We slept with all the doors and windows open due to the lack of air con. All in all not a bad holiday. Alcudia is an exceptionally nice area of Majorca that is blighted by the large blot on the landscape that is Hellvue. One tip for all holiday makers going here. DONT. Save your money and stay at home.

Your experience will depend on what time of year you stay, and more importantly which block you are allocated. We were in the Sirena apartments which had room fans, which was a God send as the temperatures were upper 30's.
These blocks were comfortable, we heard that some blocks had nothing to cool, some even had lack of water for long durations.

Our family have just returned from a 2 week holiday at this facility, and after reading a lot of the reviews, good and bad, we are of the opinion that they are all correct to some extent.

This Bellevue has the Potential to be one of the top holiday spots in Europe, and it doesn't need a great deal of financial investment, in relation to what they make in profit.

The first week were all pleasantly surprised, as the site seemed to be full and the expected queues seemed not as bad as expected. Seen a lot worse in other hotels over the years.

Food
As for the food we found a variety of choices, even types of dishes never seen on offer during our lifetime of travel, such as Salmon Steaks, Swordfish Jacket Potato's, Spinach etc.
These were a rarity, but a good choice of meats.
The downside to the food was it was chips chips, chips. They could have offered more types of potato. The salad choice again had very little choice.
Must say whatever the food was (including the Chips) it was extremely well cooked and presented.

The second week it all changed, we hardly ate in the Bellevue as the queues were horrendous, but we found a place to eat, highly recommended by a lot of people not far away, called "The Terrace Restauant" which not only turned out to be the best home cooking we have ever had abroad, but also the cheapest. This was a bonus when you're all inclusive and feel the need to eat out.
We even heard that a major curry house's staff go there if they want a curry. They also own the " Terrace Sports Bar" 50 yards away.

The Facilities
This was our main concern. They have an outdoor auditorium which was massive and I believe the largest stage in Majorca. The nightly shows ranged from awful to brilliant, surprisingly the Wild West Show seemed to please the crowd the best because of its humour.
In the showground auditorium which I guess seats (with tables) about 2 thousand plus people there are 3 bars for all inclusive and one for payers.

There are only 2 WC's for women, I don't mean blocks, I mean seats.
If they invested in more toilet facilities in the showground it would make such a difference. Also the cleaning and maintenance of all the toilets should be extended past 5pm.

One massive tip I would give to all is in regard to airport transfers.
It was arranged by our travel company, and they used a company called Holiday Taxi.
They dropped us of at the Bellevue Lagamonte, even after we protested that we thought it was the wrong place, they wouldn't let our party back on the coach. It cost us 18 euros for 3 taxi's at 3 in the morning to get to the Bellevue.
I mention this as the next day another party with the same from Hull told us that it had happened to them, but they couldn't get a taxi. In the second week we heard of more cases who it had happened to.
Entertainment
Very good for families with children

Room Tip: Try to book the Sirena apartments for comfort and position or Leda 2

Got back on the 20th Aug. Had a lovely time after worrying because we'd read the reviews on trip advisor. Hotel is very clean, towels changed on a daily basis. Staff are all lovely. Alcudia is amazing, we were self catering and thoroughly enjoyed all the restaurants we ate in. Would recommend this holiday to all.

Room Tip: Stayed in 'Neptune 1' apartment block
