“basic but very nice hotel, clean, friendly staff great for kids!!”
Reviewed 29 August 2014

After booking this holiday lastminute i read reviews and was a little worried but was very pleasently surprised , on arrival room key did not work and it took two visits to reception to correct the problem (staff where helpful but slightly over run with guests) . the room was basic (its 3*accomodation after all) but clean tidy and even tho we where all inclusive we had some cooking facilities and a fridge (nice touch) nice shower/bathroom and a little kitchen table in the living room too- small but cosy- we had a 5o clock check in and headed off to dinner at 6- dining room was large and catered for a lot of guests - food was better some days than others but on the whole was good (deserts where very tasty as was the paellea). staff where very nice polite and helpfull even when some rather rude and arrogent guests went out of their way to be difficult and demanding (one guest insisting a barman pour a glass of pure vodka to the top of the glass "fill the f***ing glass to the top u spanish c**t!"). staff apprieated good manners and remembered the people who showed courtesy and gratitude- staff where maybe a little lite in certain areas but worked hard especially the kids and adult entertainment teams who where really great overall a lovely holiday in a nice but basic hotel - if u can ignore the small minority of ignorant and rude guests then this can be a nice holiday! a 3* hotel with potential but a nice place to holiday -a small tip for bar /cleaning staff as they really do work hard!

Just returned from a weeks self catering at the Belle Vue Club and had an absolutely brilliant time. Was very worried after reading some of the previous reviews posted on here that we had made a huge mistake but could not have been more wrong. The complex is huge and holds a lot of people but we stayed in Sirena II block and although a bit dated was clean and comfortable and the maid came in daily and towels were changed regularly. We had a beautiful view overlooking the lake and there was no night time noise. As people have said before sunbeds are few and far between but with 8 swimming pools and large grassed areas there is plenty of space. We didn't sample the entertainment as we ate out every night so did not use the hotel in this respect. There is an abundance of bars and restaurants a few minutes walk from the complex with something for everyone and the beach is not too far either. Take a horse and cart ride from the hotel around Alcudia or the little train which was great fun. Also remember your holiday is what you make it, don't take too much notice of the negatives and make your own mind up.

i generally scan reviews before i venture on hols this trip was no different the reviews have lived up to their standards i would say in a nutshell a decent hotel infact we fell very lucky with our room we booked a studio appartment for 3 adults and on arrival at 3am in the morning we were directed to our studio on opening the door the room was a fair size as we opened the door to the left it opened into two bedrooms yes folks we were put in a 2 bedroomed appartment with a pool view for the price of a studio way hey quids in so far so good you might say had fab time so why did we have a problem on arriving back home well as we all are on tight budgets we need to keep a check on the money spent rang my bank on friday to check my balance and how much i spent and i got a nasty suprise money was taken out of my account without my knowledge how and where having gone through my transactions it became clear that an on street atm in alcudia had cloned my card and was used in america on the same day a total of 6 hits to the value of near to 400 pounds right now if you have read this im sure your shocked too the atm machine in question is one situated on the main strip on the left hand side on the way to the bellevue as you come from the beach i must stress the safest machine that we have had no problems with was the one situated inside the colber shop so folks lesson learned other than that it hasnt put me off going back

Room Tip: get diana or federa appts

We returned here on the 22/7/14 our party this time consisted of 2 adults and 2 children 11yrs old and 13yrs old. Our accommadation this time was in a two bedroom apartment in the Fedra 1 building on the 1st floor. This complex is great for families wanting a good base with lots for the kiddies to do. The accommadation is basic but clean. It really could do with a revamp and air conditioning added then it would get a higher rating. We went self catering this time and I would have liked a microwave/oven as the kitchen is very basic with fridge kettle toaster and 2 ring hob. We had a good view of one of the 8 pools on the complex so were able to chill on the balcony while keeping an eye on our children in the pool. If you are looking for 4/5 star accomadation then this is not for you, having said that I would def reccomend if you are looking for a good basic base with good entertainment and lots for the children to do. The staff at reception and the cleaning staff were all very pleasant and helpfull. I would definately return again either all inclusive or self catering. There are lots of pubs restaurants and entertainment very close by and the water park is 10 mins by the train that stops at Bellevue. Thank you all at Bellevue for our pleasant holiday.

Room Tip: I found fedra 1 to be in a good location with spa shop 1 min from block and pool close by, it is fur...

A very large resort area in Alcudia which is about 10-15 minutes walk from the local beach which isn't ideal. Perfect for family or friends as the resort itself provides plenty of amenities, over 6 swimming pools, mini golf, restaurants, go karting etc.

Rooms were cleaned every other day and not really much room service provided which means not having to tip. Rooms were also fairly large and the holiday package wasn't too expensive.

The only complaint that i did have is that at night it can get very noisy as other drunk friends or families are stumbling home from the local bar.

In conclusion a decent place to go as there are plenty of things to do on the resort, and the breakfast wasn't too bad either. Just be prepared to have sleepless nights.

This was my first holiday in 11 years I went with my husband two children aged 6 and 11 and my elderly in-laws. This holiday was very expensive for us and we chose to book through a reputable agent, Thomas Cook. I will be writing a letter of complaint to them also. We arrived at 1 am after a lengthy coach journey from the airport and were basically shown a map and told to find our way to our apartment within the huge complex. I would like to thank the lovely Welsh family who came to our aid and showed us where our apartment block was - Fedra 1. The nightmare began. The apartment we were expecting did not come up to scratch. It was supposed to be for 6 people but we had 4 dining chairs only All cups, bowls etc were set up for 4 people There were 4 chairs on the balcony, three of which were broken with cracks on the seats. We tried to ring reception but the phone was broken also. The apartment was filthy, run-down and dated. The kitchen was tiny for 6 people and the fridge had seen better days, the lightshades in the dining room were falling apart, the electric switches looked dangerous and the bathroom ceiling was brown and the door was water damaged and swollen and the mirror had seen better days. I personally would not have had the nerve to allow people to stay in an apartment so in need of an update and redecoration and to charge us over £3000 for 10 days was ridiculous. My children wanted to go home straight away, as did my husband. I have to say we did not get one night's good sleep the whole time as we were put in an apartment next to the entry to the building and throughout the night from about midnight until about 5.00 a.m. there was constant noise. The bins got emptied at ridiculous hour of the morning and very noisily, the grass was mown early in the morning, lorries went in and out regularly and the apparent ignorance of other guests thinking it was okay to shout as loud as you could at all hours of the night with no regard for anybody else trying to get to sleep. We had a change of linen once in the 11 days we were there but this was only one set only, the other sheets we lay on the whole time, we had to ask for clean towels and were given an extra towel for 6 of us. The air conditioning we were assured by Thomas Cook did not exist and were to be charged 50 euros to hire the smallest fan going. We were in one of the furthest away apartments which meant we had to walk the whole length of the complex if we wanted to speak to reception - we decided not to do this and to try and enjoy the holiday. The brochure pictures of Bellvue Club look impressive but I didn't recognise these pictures as I never saw anything that resembled those advertised - think we were put in a different complex!!! We made the best of a bad situation and went out of the complex almost every day so we could see the best of Alcudia and I am glad we did because the island itself is beautiful and we will go back but definitely not with Bellvue. Every family we met all said the same thing, we never met anybody who said they would re-visit Bellvue and everybody we spoke with had the same complaints as us so we know it was not just us being overly picky or negative about matters.

Room Tip: No good rooms that we found out about - everybody found rooms and apartments in need of repair and u...

Took an hour to check in at 12pm. Transfer was about an hour. We booked with thomas cook so got the better restaurant. We never had to wait for a table. Food was good but repetitive. Room was ok but dated, our sofabed was just a sofa it didn't pull out like a normal sofabed. Queues for drinks on a night was ridiculous no chance of getting drunk unless you want to spend all night stood in a Que. entertainment was poor but the strip outside the complex had plenty going on. Kids loved our holiday which is the main thing. We enjoyed it too. Was really worried about coming here but your holiday is what you make it. We all enjoyed it but we would not go back all inclusive but we would self catering if it was cheap.
