We visited the Mariner Club at the beginning of May and e were the first guests of the season. The apartments were as we expected - 1 single bed and sofa beds , but as there was 2 of us we had plenty of room. They are about 20 mins walk away from the beach along a straight road.
The apartments were clean and cleaned every other day, Malin the cleaner is fantastic and makes you feel at home... she organised our room for us so we had more space !
Amanda the entertainer is really good and tries to get everyone involved - the activities are geared towards children - but we did not feel left out. If we needed directions or ideas of where to go we asked Amanda. If you are a good walker as her to direct you up the big hill.......take food and drink with you... its a long walk but worth every step when you get to the top !#
All the staff were very helpful, we had problem with a lost passport, they rang around for us and when it was found they rang a taxi for us to go and collect, I can not fault the staff at all.
Kayleigh the rep who we had at the time was great and again full of local knowledge ! She is wonderful !
On the days that we spent all day at the beach we tended to get a take out baguette from Mariner as its very expensive to eat on the beach. So take plenty of food and water with you !
We also ate most nights at a pub just across the way called the Queens....really nice reasonably priced food, on saying that the food at the Mariners is nice and of reasonable price.
I would go back again but I think I would take of members of our family (children) with s. I think that we would of enjoyed it more.
