Stayed here for a week in april 2014. This is an excellent location - close to beach. Facilities are good - definitely cater for families, couples or groups. The complex, we were told was 3/4 full, but the whole area was peaceful - no rowdyism! The gardens are superb and there are plenty of different sized pools throughout the complex. We stayed in 'C' block, and would recommend as here you are facing a garden area. Two storey apartments so not difficult for anyone to climb. Towels changed regularly. Only one point - 2 single beds? for a couple it would be more suitable if it was possible to maybe 'clip' or hold the 2 beds together.
The area of Alcudia, for us was the best, visited several of the local beach areas and thought Alcudia the best with its wide beach and promenade walk to the rear .
The whole holiday was most enjoyable with one exception - the cyclists which seem to have invaded the island. Roads aren't particularly wide and when cyclists insist on riding 2 abreast makes for a difficult time trying to pass. Obviously not all cyclists are the same - but some are most inconsiderate.
TRUDE on reception - truly a gem of a receptionist - helpful, considerate nothing too much trouble. I do hope this hotel appreciates how good she is!!!!!

Room Tip: We had corner - C block - this was a very large one bedroom apartment with view over gardens. I think the upper floor is better (these are rooms from 200+)

Stayed at sea club for a week every April half term for the last three years. Cannot fault them. Always stay room only, this is just because we enjoy walking into alcudia port or old town for evening meals. Have eaten multiple times in the tropical beach bar for lunch always lovely. Definitely recommend paying for a garden room, love having our own space and the maid comes daily to change sheets and clean the room/bins which is great with our messy four year old. The staff are just fantastic couldn't do more for you! So friendly and pleasant always accommodating. The rooms are basic but when you rarely spend time in them you get what you pay. Lots of spar shops around so plenty of choice.
Entertainment is good for kids and entertaining enough for adults, finishes early so you won't be kept up with noise.
Facilities- lots of pools, temperature is quite cold but I assume warms up as the weather does, parks at each area again clean and well kept as well as a sandpit so plenty to keep all the kids entertained. Definitely recommend a trip into the old

Have just come back from an excellent week at the Sea Club with my 11 and 12 yo daughters. The weather was unexpectedly nice which may affect my judgement, but this is a great place for a family holiday. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, beds made and towels changed most days. Staff were without exception friendly and helpful, and special mention to the entertainment staff who worked really hard to keep kids of all ages busy. The evening shows were fun, the kids loved them although the communal dance moves at the end were beyond me.

The pool areas were nicely laid out with plenty of room and no problem getting sunbeds - and with no high rise buildings around the pool areas were in the sun pretty much all day. The water temparature was cool its fair to say but it was refreshing once you got in and nowhere near as cold as other pools I have experienced, namely one in Lanzarote where going swimming risked cardiac arrest.

We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food, but there are a variety of good value places within walking distance. I particularly recommend the tepanyaki grill just round the corner, not very Mallorquin admittedly but delicious selection of sea food and meat cooked while you wait.

I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about the Sea Club - I could mention that the kettle only worked if I stood jiggling the lead to get the orange light to come on but that would be all, and I soon got used to it. It was an excellent value fun family holiday and I would recommend it.

Excellent location in north of Palma Island at Alcudia.
Apartement/hotel is extremely suitable for families with children. We stayed in apartement with private garden and general infrastructures are very good, with nice and confortable rooms.
garden areas, swimming pools and hotel is very clean, staff is very friendly and polite.
There are a big variety of foods at the breakfast and dinner buffet with very good value-quality. Beverages are with additional costs but at very reasonable prices for a hotel.
Some improvements must be done on waiting queue time at dinner and depending on somes days, rooms cleaning and service were done only late afternoon which is too late for my point of view.
Nevertheless I'll recommend this hotel especially for families, very good value-service-money and very well located in the nice city of Alcudia. Hotel is a well only 5 minutes walk for the nice beaches. Looking forward to come back again in Palma de Mallorca and of course at the Sea Club. Steve/Switzerland

We stayed here over Easter and it was superb. It's a large complex, with numerous pools. There are always enough sunbeds for everyone. The pools are cleaned daily, like the grounds and everything else. Everything is spotless. There are bikes to hire at reception for only 9 euros per day. There is an "Internet Corner" at reception with five internet terminals costing one euro for ten minutes, and an x-box corner costing the same. Wifi is available at six euros per day, or twelve euros for three days.

We were given a ground floor apartment upon arrival, when we's asked for a first floor. We informed reception and were in a first floor apartment within ten minutes. The Reception Staff are so helpful.

The apartments are somewhat dated, but perfectly acceptable. There's a balcony / terrace to the front and a small untility area at the rear to hang washing, put your beach inflatables etc. Towels are changed every day, and bins emptied, toilet rolls replenished etc. During our seven days the bed linen was changed twice. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, though if you need a powerful one take your own. There is no iron or ironing board in the rooms. There is a microwave, a toaster, hob, etc. The television had several English channels: Sky News; BBC News; Cbeebies and in the evening BBC3.

Around the pool bars drinks are served in glasses, and plastic cups if taken around the pool. A small lager was two euros twenty.A coke or coffee, roughly the same, perhaps a touch less. There are also two pool tables and an air hockey table around the pool areas. Plenty of tables, parasols etc everywhere.

Reception provide you with a map of the complex upon arrival. The Gym is at the top end of the complex, across an outside road. Same with the "Serenity" section, exclusively for adults. The gym is free for Sea Club holidaymakers, so don't be deterred. It is open to the general public and has a large banner displayed outside advertising the fact. There is a basketball court, table tennis, volleyball court, numerous childrens play areas, childrens club, "Toby Time", and a Spa supermarket. There are activities right throughout the day and entertainment each evening. Great for the kids.

We stayed full board and were really impressed. There were holidaymakers from Germany, Spain, France and England and the menu reflects that. A really good variety. The quality of the food is overall very good. I tried the chilli, meatballs, moussaka, and the burgers and there was no gristle in them. There's a superb selection of salad, soup, pasta, and meat and fish every sitting. Whilst we were there they had sushi, an oriental night with spring rolls, a superb beef stir fry, roast beef, steak, swedish meatballs, roast chicken, lamb chops, schnitzels, a fantastic chicken curry. I tried the English breakfast on the first day and have to say I wasn't impressed. The sausage were somewhat "bitty", not big chunks of gristle, but something not quite right. There are fried eggs, scrambled eggs, tinned tomatoes, beans, and bacon. Though I have to say I found them to be lukewarm. My kids tried them over several days and always found the same problem. Just not hot enough. If we had spotted the microwave near the freezer before the last day then maybe things would have been different. Instead we had toast with cheese, and the large selection of cakes, biscuits, churros etc that were available and really enjoyed the change. You get free coffee, tea and juice with breakfast but at all other times pay for drinks. They give you a credit card that you can just have swiped in the restaurant or at the bar and pay at the end of the stay, so don't get carried away. You can work on two euros per drink as an average. One sall complaint I would have about the dining is that you have to wait to be seated. One waiter was in charge of greeting you, taking you to a table, taking your drinks order, then taking your order to the bar before repeating the whole process over again. Sometimes the queue would be quite long. This surely cannot be the way they d it during the busy summer months.

Overall we thought the Sea Club was fantastic. Every member of staff was so professional and helpful. The manager could be seen inspecting the layout of the food at dinner time. One time when there was heavy rainfall he was out checking the gutters at one of the pool bars. Meticulous.

The complex is about ten minutes form the beach and main strip. Go out of the main entrance, cross the road to La Traviatta, go down and turn left at the bottom of the road. Straight ahead for five minutes past the taxi rank. You can walk to Alcudia Port in about fifteen minutes along the beach or the path that runs alongside it. A taxi costs about five euros. A bus costs even less. The Bus Stop is just to the left of the Taxi Rank on the main road. A taxi to Alcudia Old Town costs about five euros as well. We took the bus to Pollenca, a beautiful place, and it cost only seven euros for four of us. The beach is superb, but we found the area around the complex quite disappointing. Just a continuous strip of souvenier shops, bars and restaurants. Some are really good, like the Tivoli. From the main entrance cross the road, pass La Traviatta, continue to the end of the road, turn left, cross the bridge further down and it is about two hundred metres further on the right. Theres the usual british bars doing Bingo, and Linnekars Bar etc. if that's your thing.

Overall, the Sea Club was brilliant, the immediate area disappointing. Would rather have been in Port Alcudia, or Pollenca, which was lovely.

Room Tip: Rooms at the top end of the complex are quieter, as are the pools. Some of the ground / first floor apartments terraces are very near the pool and surrounding area. Great if you have kids. If you need a bit more space get a second floor one with balcony terrace.
