“Another Great Holiday”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

Having stayed there last year and having an amazing time it was a no brainer to come back. Apartments are basic but clean and have all you need. Pools are great and there are about 6 in total around the site depending on what zone your in but all have a kids pool for really little ones and then a main pool. Set in beautiful gardens and away from the hussle and bustle of the main stretch but only a five min walk away. Beach is a steady 10 - 15 Min walk and is one of the best beaches for kids, Really shallow water and clear blue sea. There is plenty of shelter at the back of the beach under trees where we always go. Staff there really friendly and always happy to help you. We stayed in block C last year and Block B this year and both fantastic. Block D is a fair walk from the bar and main restaurant.
Once again we had a great time here and next time were back in alcudia we shall come back here again

Room Tip: Choose block B or C, email the hotel and ask them if you can have this and they have always put us w...

We have just come back from a 2 week holiday at the sea club with my 13yr old son and to be fair it was hard to fault. On arrival locating our apartment was easy but the information channel on the hotel TV did not work and there was no literature explaining what was available etc. The hotel and grounds were very well maintained and the staff were polite and courteous. We were in room C227 which was a first floor apartment near the rear entry point to D block. I think I would have preferred to be on the ground floor with a little more outdoor space but these quite rightly were primarily given to families with young children. The accommodation was fine and the beds comfortable and regular cleaning by the friendly maids. The only possible negative would have been the lack of an oven or mini grill to warm up pizza etc. as only 2 hob rings and a toaster and kettle were provided. Initially we had a small problem with the air conditioning being faulty but either the service was exceptional or they have very few problems because this was attended to within 10 minutes of reporting which was impressive. My son (who I think has a USB port on his right hip!) had no complaints about the WiFi connection which was 24 Euros a week. The view over the picturesque grounds on a morning was very pleasant. our apartment lost the direct sun around 4pm which was actually quite a pleasant respite! Food at the snack bar was quite good and only marginally more expensive than outside the hotel and the same goes for the on site supermarket. The Sea Club is well situated with 2 Spar shops directly opposite the entrance and Lidl a 10 minute walk away. There were so many different bars and restaurants nearby that it was not really necessary to endure the 20 minute walk to the port area but we did on several occasions and it was pleasant. The hotel did seem to have a lot of Scandanavian and other guests and I would estimate that only 20% of the guests were British but this was not an issue other than making interaction with other guests a little more difficult. This Club is ideal for families with children between the ages of 3-10yrs but teenagers might be a little bored. Each block although not far apart is like a separate hotel which was good but a little ambient music around the pool during the day would have been a nice addition. We did not bother with the on site evening entertainment so on that I cannot comment. Overall it was a very nice hotel with pleasant staff. If I went to the same places twice I would certainly consider the Sea Club Alcudia.

Room Tip: Ground floor room have more outside space and end of block apartments e.g. (C117) have a small encl...

Green Features: Plenty of recycling points throughout the hotel. The hotel sets the air conditioning temperature which is at best ambient and could have been a little cooler. A lot of balcony lights were left on during the day so perhaps consider a sensor on these.

I was so excited for my holiday after reading the fantastic reviews on trip advisor but unfortunately for me the seaclub does not live up to reviews, we we're put in D block which is away from all the action and you really feel left out. The accommodation is clean but dated. The real disappointment for me was the evening entertainment it was rubbish and was definitely aimed at the Scandinavians as was much of complex.

The positives for sea club is that it is central for bars shops and restaurants and the beach.

Overall we had a good time, but I really was expecting more.

we have just come back from a 10 night holiday with our 3 young children aged 2, 5 and 7. The hotel was very clean with beautiful scenery. Most of the maids were very friendly. The entertainment staff were ok, they didnt really approach any of my 3 children apart from one of the male entertainers on one of the nights. They seemed to have certain favourites. We didnt watch any of the night entertainment apart from the disney show as it wasnt to our taste. It was basically songs every night of different themes with the staff miming them and 'acting' them out. We went just across the street to the Cheers bar, the shine bar and the linekars bar were in walking distance which had a good mix of kids disco, character entertainers and reptile shows also much better music. We stayed in the C block and it was lovely we had a pool view. The pools were great with close sand pits and a park for them to play where we could watch them while we sunbathed. It is also all enclosed so that was one less worry as my youngest child is a wanderer. The male bar tender was really nice and approachable. The beach was just 5/10 minutes walk, as you come out of the hotel it just one straight walk to the left. The beach was stunning shallow water to near the end of the pier! its definitely the best place to top up your tan. There are alot of different nationalities within the hotel its hard to find a family of friends.

Room Tip: Ask for the C or B block if travelling with children as they are located near the 2 main pool areas...

This was the first time at Sea Club for myself my husband and sixteen year old son. Upon arrival we were asked if we would like to be upgraded to the Adult Only area. This was possible as our son was sixteen. This area was fantastic. The pool was beautiful. It didn't matter what time of day you went there was always a sun lounger available, so no getting up early to put your towel out. There was also sun loungers outside the apartments, also these ware always available. The rooms were cleaned 6 days a week and if towels were needed you could exchange them at the reception. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Linda who couldn't do enough for you. We were there for one week from 26th July 2014 and will be rebooking for 2015.

Just back from a fantastic holiday in Alcudia at the Sea Club. It's one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at.

The welcome was friendly and we were in D block. We preferred
This as it was a little quieter and despite it being peak season sun beds were usually available at all times of the day.

It would seem to me that most visitors are Scandinavian and the Brits seem to be sent to
D block. This wasn't an issue though as long as you don't mind being 5 mins or so away from the reception.

The accommodation is clean and id
definitely return. The only very minor gripe was that Block D was the only block with the old sunbeds that you can't sit up on. But this really is clutching at straws.

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and well maintained too.

If you book this hotel you won't be disappointed.

We had 2 weeks in juli, at the hotel in the B block. Nice hotel with a lot of activities for the kids. The rooms were clean and had aircondition.
The service we got at the reception, was the Best I have ever seen, particular Miquel, Always smiling and helping no matter what. We can only recommend this hotel for families.
