I stayed here during a cycling vacation.
The first floor, above the main dining room, is not recommended. Noisy every morning, when they begin to prepare for breakfast.

Great location, near the central.

It has a kitchen in a separate room. The Bathroom varies, depending on which room you stay. One is old, another one is modern and nicer.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here in October , it was just a fantastic holiday. Hotel was situated in a great place near the beach , all the shops, restaurants and the main town alcudia. The port is stunning great place to go. Hotel was amazing the food was just delicious , so many choices, we ate really well. Room was good kept nice and cool and very clean, cleaners were really nice. Reception staff were helpful and friendly, loads of choices of swimming pools :) , we spent the late afternoons at the spa which also was relaxing and a great bonus to have this in the hotel Would definitely stay here again

What a lovely family hotel. The rooms were so spaceous and I loved the extra facilities which included a fridge, microwave and hob. Came in really handy being halfboard with two kids. The food was very nice but some of the restaurant staff were a bit miserable compared to similar hotels visted in the past. Still very efficient though. The cleaners were the friendliest and they were very good at their jobs. Loved the indoor pool for the kids as although it was still nice weather at the end of October it wasn't warm enough to go in the outdoor pool for the majority of the week. Lovely hotel and a lovely area. Would definately recommend and return in the future. Would like to see it in the height of the season as the outdoor pool area was lovely.

Room Tip: Room 422 has a great view over the pools and palm trees. It's on the 4th floor. Perfect room for...

We stayed at Coral de Mar for a birthday celebration. We all stayed in the Coral. The rooms are comfortable with a separate bedroom and a lounge with a kitchenette next to the lounge. We were in block B and had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The only negative about the rooms is the pillows are very firm.

The pool area was clean. The pool was on the cool side but once you were in it was ok. There are plenty of sun loungers.

We had an all inclusive package. The food was of good quality and there was generally a wide variety of choice for everyone. The staff in the restaurant were really friendly and helpful. On occasions service was a little slow to top up on some stations, but it was a minor inconvenience.

The main restaurant is at Estrella on the other side of the road from Coral. But it's only a couple of minutes walk. The Coral restaurant opened twice a week and reservations were required. It's still self serve but is nice for a change and has more of a restaurant ambience.

We had a birthday celebration in the Coral restaurant on Thursday and the staff were great in sorting a cake and helping to set up banners etc. Lauren was very helpful. The meal was good but because everyone arrives at 6.30 there are queues at first as everyone gets up to the self serve stations at once. But once things settled the queues became shorter.

The Bar at Coral closed at 6pm so you have to use the bar at Estrella where the main entertainment is based. It would have been nice to have access to a bar In the Coral in an evening as it was nice to sit in the lounge and chat without the noise from the entertainment. We were there at the very end of season and it maybe that it does open during main season.

The spa area is compact but nice for a few hours, but the gyms are basic with limited machines. Just one treadmill.

Overall this a very good hotel in a great location. The staff are friendly and helpful and the staff keep all areas clean and tidy. We would happily return.

The hotel is 5 star and the location is excellent not surrounded by tower buildings and in an oasis setting with sea views.
The staff were all very nice and helpful.
It is located 5km (about 20 euro's in a taxi )from Marbella town and some distance from Puerto Banus so you need to be prepared to use the taxi's to get about.
The only complaint is the cost of the Beach Club at 35 euro's a day.
It is a very nice spa and club but should be free for hotel guests (you only get one free voucher/visit) after that you have to pay and it is expensive that said the beach is very good and there is a lovely cafe right on the beach.
Room/Balcony and en-suites were excellent

We were booked to stay in the Coral which would appear to be the better of the 2 hotels however were moved without explanation to the Estrella. The rooms are ok but in no way 4* as advertised, the decor is dated, furniture it damaged and the bath had rust on the fittings and mildew on some of the tiles and judging by the layers of silicone it has been sealed many times. The rooms were clean and we found 2 english speaking channels on the tv for the kids. The kitchenette was ild witg a rusty fridge and marked and damaged splasgback. The rest of the hotel is trying very hard to be 4* with many rules re dress code etc, the food was good but we saw little variation over the 7 days. We stayed all inclusive so drinks etc were plentiful and the staff are all pleasant and helpful. Location is great really near the beach etc but not close enough to be disturbed at night, you can't use the spa if you have kids with you and although there is a kids club we struggled to find where this was on a daily basis, it seemed to be mainly there for the german Tui travellers even though it was hotel run. You have to pay for a safe which is not offered at check in and there is free wifi but again nobody advises you of this. It was a good holiday but we wouldn't stay here again and will be checking with our holiday firm why we were moved to hotel that was not worth the 4* price we paid. If you do book make sure you book and stay in the Coral.

We had a great autumn holiday vacation in Port of Alcudia. We stayed a week in Coral de Mar Resort. The weather was great considering the time of the year, it was at least +25 degrees and the sun shined every day.

Coral de Mar seemed more cleaner and more modern than its sister hotel Estrella. The children liked the pool in Coral more than Estrella's. The pool water was a little bit cold, but the warmed indoor pool was quite dirty to want to go swimming there. The gym and mini-golf were in quite bad condition, so we did not use them except once.

We had all inclusive, and all the food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was very good and varied every day - there was a sushi, texmex, cheese and Mallorcan theme nights. Also the wines were good. There weren't really queues in the restaurant, and very rarely was there lack of food.

The service was modest but friendly all week long, especially the receptionist in Coral (Diana) was very friendly.

All in all, we had a suberb vacation and can truly recommend the hotel and Mallorca!

Room Tip: Block C rooms are on top of the restaurant / pool bar and the maintenance facilities, and there come...
