“Roman ruins”
Reviewed 11 May 2013

Interesting but not too much to see. We had trouble finding it (using the navigation). Then we realized it is next to the old city wall of Alcúdia.

“Go and see!”
Reviewed 9 September 2012

For €3 you get to walk around and view roman ruins... it's really quite amazing and is really a must do if you staying in the north of mallorca. they give you a leaflet but it'd be worth doing a little research before going too. If you into history it worth doing... you get to sit in an amphitheater carved out of rocs by people from centuries ago!!! You also get access to the small museum across the road by the church which has some of the finds which if you see the ruins you should really go see if only for the little models of what the ruins looked like... small and simple but it allows you to visualise what was once there more or less!

“Mostly uncovered Roman town outside of Alcudia's walls”
Reviewed 8 September 2012

Do not miss the roman theater, one of the best of its kind in the whole mediterranean, because it is made of solid rock. Rare opportunity to see some of the surviving remnants of the roman presence on the island. The few artifacts are housed in a tiny but tidy museum which is supplied by the continued excavations of the site. Alcudia is worth a leisurely stroll as well. One of the few towns around the island with the footsteps and life of ancient history so well preserved.

Unfortunately it rained when we were there so didn't really see it at its best but it had a nice feel about it and would like to go back when it is sunny!
