Lovely hotel with helpful staff. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We loved the spa, very reasonable price to use spa facilities. Enjoyed a couple of spa treatments too. The wifi in the hotel is very poor. We were booking a Thomson tour with our rep and due to the poor wifi we thought the first payment didn't get through, so paid again. It wasn't until we got home we realised we paid twice! We weren't mad about the area of Sa Coma, nothing historical or cultural about it.

We visited the hotel on a two week, fully inclusive, holiday. Upon arrival, we asked for a change of rooms, in order to provide a different aspect for the afternoon sun. The reception staff and Chej (the manager) bent over backwards to accommodate us and the time spent was certainly rewarding for us. The welcome we received from each and every member of staff was first class and we felt as though we were friends returning year upon year. This level of hospitality continued throughout the stay.

The rooms were of a first class standard. The beds were immensely comfortable and provided a good night's sleep every night. The bathroom was well equipped and was of a standard that would be expected in any high quality hotel. Towels were replaced every day.

The food was exceptional and every meal was a pleasure to experience. The arrival of a complimentary bottle of wine from the manager was a delightful surprise. As always, the restaurant staff provided exceptional service, as we have come to expect from this hotel.

Unfortunately, we had an accident in the vicinity of the hotel, although this accident was not in any way connected to the hotel. The care and consideration, the compassion and the generosity of spirit of the hotel staff was incomparable. The manager and the director of the hotel were genuinely concerned about the welfare of our mother during her stay in hospital (10 days), contacting the hospital daily for a progress report and supporting us during a very stressful time. No request was too great or too small for them. Each time we returned from the hospital we were greeted with solicitous questions regarding mum from the reception staff. They were supportive and considerate without intruding in any way. Although we would rather that mum not have the accident, we could not wish for a better hotel in which to go through the experience. We were treated like family and ended up as a very rewarding and rich experience.

We would like to thank all the staff and, in particular, Chej and Joan (the director) for all that they did for us. It will certainly not be forgotten. We will definitely return to the hotel to finish our holiday. Since returning to Ireland, Mum has continued to recover and is beginning to walk again on crutches. Incidentally, the medical treatment and nursing care at the Hopital General de Muro was first class. Her hip and arm fractures are healing well. A special thanks to the physiotherapist at the Biomar who gave such help to Mum. Again, thanks to all.

Third year in a row for us to the Sa Coma Playa with our now 4.5 year old, we stayed for 2 weeks half board with our room over looking the small pool. Lovely hotel, great staff especially Chez and Senor Ramone.
Would we return I would say yes but not for a few years, we would love to pick the hotel up and take it with us to new resorts/countries as Sa Coma is small and relaxing in a whole but we need to allow our son to sample and see new cultures and new experiences.
We felt that something was different this year and we could not put our finger on it at first, we later realised that the hotel was full and this was the first time we had experienced this, the restaurant was much busier as was the quite pool. There must be either a new head chef there as the buffet dinners were different daily, either Asian, Indian, Italian, Mexican and Majorcan. For us we thought the food quality had declined and was recycled daily, there was little or no taste. I survived on salads and ice cream mainly and our son was so limited to his meals we had to go else where for him to have dinner. For me I want to go to Spain to experience Spanish flavours and food, paella was on once throughout our visit! The Asian buffet had a picture displaying sushi however in the restaurant there was none to be found, with burgers being the only other meat option on the grill. The vegetarian choice was extremely poor either peas or sweet corn, previous years there was spinach cannelloni. Hence me living on salads!
There should also be a child's buffet area for them to see and pick their meals.
The restaurant gets very busy at times and I over heard another guest saying it was like the last supper!
There also needs air con in the hall leading to the restaurant as that becomes very hot.
This is an honest review on how we felt our holiday went this year, we feel the hotel has become a victim of its success and they seem to be compromising on food quality/choice for bigger profits its a real shame.

Just returned from a week at this hotel on an all inclusive basis with my 17 year old daughter. The room was lovely clean and spacious, one of the best rooms i have had in a spanish hotel. The pool area is lovely and you didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve a sun bed. It's a quiet hotel so if you're looking for lively entertainment or a kids club then i suggest you go to the safari across the road which is much busier. The food was a usual spanish buffet but you could always find something you liked with lots of choice. Most of the staff are friendly and the manager is always there to greet you at breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were really impressed with the all inclusive package as it included branded drinks and ice creams. We would definitely return to this hotel, yes there are some flaws like the entertainment but it's hard to find a perfect hotel and this is the closest i've found.

What can I say? This was our 6th stay at Sa Coma Playa and it was just the best holiday ever. I don't think we will ever tire of this hotel, it's just so special. Everything was perfect and we were so welcomed and looked after by the very warm and friendly team. A complimentary visit to La Reserva from the management, our table decorated all in pink with flowers and a cake with candles for our daughters 5th birthday, the children being hugged and kissed at very turn and the list goes on. As I've said in previous reviews, this hotel is modern, thoroughly spotlessly clean and the rooms are huge and comfy but it is Chej, Joan and their team who really make this place what it is. It is so wonderful to be greeted by name upon sight by almost everyone which just proves all the friendliness is sincere. We will be back next year guys and thank you for a truly memorable holiday.
