This was our second trip to this hotel having stayed here for 8 nights last year. Stayed 9 nights this year on all inclusive basis. Hotel is great was refurbished recently and the reception area is really modern. I paid for an upgrade to a select apartment which included a bigger balcony with furniture (which we didn't use due to having 2 small chidren) but was very nice. The upgrade included a mini bar and preference in booking the 4 restaurants in the protur resort which are in differnt hotels but you can book to eat here at the club house. Upon arrival we did get flowers in our room plus a bottle of cava as expected as part of the upgrade but no mini bar to be found. On speaking to reception aparantly this hotel don't do mini bars yet it states so on their website and was one of the 2 reasons i booked the upgarde (so my hubby didn't have to keep going down to the bar when we were in the room with the kids), the manager was called and he was great got my fridge stocked with beer, water and soft drinks within 45 mins but it was never restocked after that and i couldn't be bothered saying anything a second time. The pool area is great, good big pool with a shallower end for the kids and 2 other baby pools, getting sunbeds was never a problem, hubby always went down about 8.45 and always got good ones. On the whole the restaurant food was good plenty of choice of salad and cooked foods, with stir fries on offer however the queue for this was very confusing and people just stood around and it took at least 20 mins for anything to be cooked. Lots of ice cream choices with sprinkles etc for the kids to choose from. After a few days though the food gets repetitive after a few days. Now onto the restaurants that you can pre-book at the club house each day. The Argintinian grill, the italian, tapas and the Country Grill. All these need to be pre booked on the day you want to eat there at the club house - this needs to be done by getting in the queue before 9am otherwise you won't get it. Our fave was the country grill, which was a bbq and the steaks are amazing. Having booked the room upgrade we went to reception and told them where we wanted to eat and someone booked it for us the problem accured on day 3 when we askeed them to book us back in the country grill when we were told we could only eat here once. Having stayed here last year we knew this was not tue as my hubby always got up on a morning and went to the club house to book, so off he went to the club house every morning after day 3 to get us booked in the bbq which he did and the food is great. So all in all the message here is definately go to this hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful especially Louis the barman who learnt our drinks order and kept us in constant supply he was great. Also worth a mention is the le reserva waterpark on the resort which is heavily discounted for ai guests at 9 euors per adult and 4.5 euros for over 3's under 3's are free. Once in you are again ai and the food is amzing gorgeous steaks and salad for lunch perfect and lots of fruit too. We went here a few times and really enjoyed it. Great hotel would definatley return just wouldn't upgrade to a selct apartment, what a great holiday, Sa Coma is such a nice place!!!!

Room Tip: Get a pool view on the second floor or above for good views too and quiet away from the bar on a nig...

Recently returned from staying at the Vista Badia Aparthotel. We did not go all inclusive as we like to get out and about, so can,t comment on the food. The hotel is spotless, and the maid service excellent. Towels changed five times a week and bedding changed twice. Staff were very friendly and eager to help. Only fault is the poolside. Plenty of sunbeds due to the fact that there is no space between them and even though you are told in the literature that reserving beds with towels was not allowed and that these would be removed. it never happened. As a result we spent our time on the beach.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 007 (yes I got all the Mr. Bond comments). This is situated on the ground floor o...

This was our first time on a Self Catering Holiday. The hotel is mixed S/C and All Inclusive. It has a large swimming pool and two small toddler pools with plenty of sunbeds. We stayed for two weeks with our two children 16 & 13. Unfortunately this is not a hotel for teenagers, all of the children here were under 8. We considered upgrading to All Inclusive but at 47 euros per day per person, thought better of it. There are plenty of Very Good restaurants close by that provide good food and good entertainment (Tribute Bands, ABBA, Lady GaGa, Whitney Houston etc.) The Food in Atlantic and Britannia was Very Good. The Kings Head and Britannia had the best entertainment. The Royal Oak and JJ's Bar are also very nice but have no entertainment. On average we spent 100 Euros per day, half the price of all inclusive with better food and entertainment. The beach is so close and lively, it's great to get out and not confined to the hotel grounds. The hotel is Very Clean and well maintained. Maids came several times per week. Rooms are comfortable and we slept well every night. Poolside & Evening entertainment is catered mainly for Germans. I think there are more Germans than Brits so Social conversation around the pool etc. is a little strained as its hard to communicate.

Overall I would go back to Sa Coma resort as the Beach, Bars, Food and entertainment is good. I would choose a different hotel only because this hotel is primarily for German people.
But, putting that aside we did have a great holiday!

Room Tip: Rooms in the middle near reception are noisy because they are very close to the evening entertainmen...

We have just returned from staying 2 weeks at the Vista Badia Aparthotel [self catering] and were dellighted with our stay in the hotel. The hotel is part of the Protur Sa Coma resort which has a Club house where there is a full programme of activities and facilities for both adults and children some of these being: bicycle hire, 3 mini golf courses, tennis, shooting, 5 a side football, squash and many more activities to choose from.

The hotel is modern [decorated in black and white throughout] and very clean with staff who were always available to help. Our apartment was spacious, clean and nicely decorated with plenty of wardrope space and all the amenities you would need for self catering [fridge/freezer, kettle, pots, pans, microwave, lots of crochery, cutlery etc . We stayed on the first floor with a spacious balcony overlooking the gardens which were tended beautifully, as were the gardens surrounding the entrance to the hotel.

No shortage of sunbeds/parasols around the pool area and the pool itself was bigger than we had expected. Waterpolo and aqua aerobics were at least 2 of the pool activities organised. The pool bar provided drinks and snacks which were excellent.

There are plenty of Spar shops around Sa Coma, however at the back of the hotel was a large supermarket [Eroski] which was better value for money.

The beach is approx 100m walk from the hotel, sunbeds and parasols were 13 euros per day and you could walk quite far into the sea before getting out of your depth. Parasending, banana boat rides and volleyball were some of the beach acitivites if you were feeling energetic.

We would highly recommend this hotel under SC and looking forward to booking our stay for next year.

I have just returned from a 12 day all inclusive stay at the Vista Badia in Sa Coma with my husband and 4 year old daughter. We had a great time. The hotel itself is lovely, furnished to a high standard, providing a very comfortable base for a holiday. We had a 1 bedroom apartment, providing us with plenty space - the rooms are spotless and cleaned pretty much every day. The only point I would need to add is that there is easy access to the balcony from the living/sofa bed area. The doors do not lock - my daughter was able to open the doors by herself, meaning she had to sleep in the bedroom to ensure she didn't go on an adventure alone!

The food in the hotel is excellent. Plenty choice available for all meals and snacks throughout the day. The only downfall is that the main restaurant is VERY noisy and can be exceptionally busy at peak times. It would be better if the clearing stations for dirty plates and cutlery was behind the scenes to avoid unnecessary noise. There is a general feeling of rush in the restaurant and It is not the most relaxing experience I have had. On a positive note however, the ability to book and use the other 4 restaurants in the hotels complex is welcome relief - excellent food too. Be prepared to queue though for a good hour before the booking facility opens at 9am.

Activities during the day are provided by the hotels animation team - these guys are fab. Lucas especially is good fun and so enthusiastic. The entertainment in the evening is in the main enjoyable but as it is outside all rooms over looking the pool do have noise until 11pm.

The pool area is spotless and there are plenty sunbeds available. A little disappointing that the main gate from the pool area out onto the resort roads does not have security entrance/exit facilities - children can come and go as they please - not too safe!

The Hotel was busy with many German guests who do need a little lesson or two in manners especially in the art of turn taking and social graces! Overall though, a fabulous holiday - even though I have made these comments we would certainly consider a return trip.

We travelled with our two children aged nearly 3 and 8 months and have to say we were very impressed with the hotel and the resort. The hotel is part of the Protur Sa Coma resort which is large and has many facilities for both adults and children. Some of which we used were the 54 hole mini golf, la reserva waterpark and paradis park (a large adventure playground with a mini waterpark for babies/toddlers).

The hotel was clean and modern with very helpful and attentive staff who work hard.
The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated. A very useful kitchenette with fridge and microwave. The air con was great and our balcony had sea and garden views. There was also plenty of wardrobe space.

The pool is large and has plenty of sunbeds surrounding it and the pool bar is great for free flowing drinks and a great lunch.

The buffet restaurant in the hotel was great, plenty of choice at both breakfast and dinner.
We also used the 4 themed restaurants which were complimentary as we were all inclusive. They were argentinian grill, country grill, italian and tapas and they were all lovely.

The hotel is by shops and restaurants and a large supermarket. It is approx 100m walk from a beautiful beach and turquoise waters.

Overall we were very impressed with the hotel and the resort facilities and we would definately return in the future.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor, as there is an 'underground' level!

we stayed in this hotel for 5 nights in June, had a lovely time. we were self catering and it was good. The whole complex is very nice, good activiteis for children.
My only comment is that the resorts is very Germain, lots of Germains in the hotel, as well as receiption and entertainment. We would have like a place with a more "Spanish" feel.

Room Tip: we got an "apartment select" which was more money, but faced the pool and the ocean, and h...
