“FANTASTIC FAMILY HOLIDAY.”
Reviewed 6 July 2013

We went for a family holiday to this hotel in Sa Coma. My wife and I with my 16 year old daughter and 5 year old son. The holiday was fantastic in EVERY way. The brochure was spot on with everything. The beach was a few minutes walk away (as per brochure). We were self catering as we had a really bad experience full board in a "truck stop" in Argassi, Zante a couple of years ago. The hotel restaurant looked really nice but we never used it. We chose to eat out every night. The food selection is fantastic with numerous bars and restaurants at hand. Prices on par with the UK. The hotel staff were VERY nice and MOST helpful in EVERY way. We requested a quiet room above ground level, these requests were granted. The room was cleaned and changed 6 times out of the 7 days. The AC was included, so no problems there. The safe was only a few euros. I left substantial amounts of euros and UK pounds in the safe, but NEVER felt threatened. The hotel had kids functions on every night which were really well done. The "Rocky Horror Show" being my favourite. It was a credit to all the cast. I expressed my views to the cast afterwards and congratulated them on a superb show. The pool area was really clean and there were ALWAYS sun loungers available no matter what time of the day we returned. The hotel does NOT tolerate every ones pet hate of certain people "reserving" sun loungers with throwing towels over them. (I have actually been involved with arguments in the past about this.) No problems here though with this selfish act. The ENTIRE resort is family orientated. NO FOOTBALL TOP WEARING LAGER LOUTS ANYWHERE!! I have never been to Spain or any of the Spanish islands before, but would most certainly go back to this resort and this very nice hotel.
I am a complete nightmare to please, but I had ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUES OR PROBLEMS WITH ANY PART OF THIS HOLIDAY.
You will not be disappointed or let down going on holiday here.

We've just come back from a fantastic holiday in Sa Coma at the Vista Badia Aparthotel. My husband and I had just as much fun as our two year old daughter! We did self catering and found the flexibility of eating when we wanted and where we wanted suited us perfectly. The hotel was spotless as was the spacious pool area. The staff were friendly and the holiday reps for the kids club etc were fantastic! Our daughter loved going to the daily mini club (accompanied by one of us) where she did painting, colouring, dancing, games etc. The mini disco each night was a real treat and something our daughter looked forward to. The food in the hotel and surrounding restaurants were both excellent value for money and delicious. Access to their sister hotels was permitted to take advantage of their water slide park (the toddler one was free) and playground. The transfer to and from the airport was straightforward. We've talked about going back next year as it was nothing but a positive experience for us. This hotel is very kiddie friendly and so unlikely to suit those without kids looking for a alternate holiday.

Every good thing you read about the Vista Badia on this page i whole heartedly agree with. We have stayed at the Vista Badia about 13 times 2 times a year some years, We love the place and we love the resort. We are happy with the self catering facilities it's adequate for are needs, breakfast and sometimes lunch when we have a pool day, we don't go on holiday to cook. we have never been all inclusive and prefer to eat out when it suits us,Eating out has changed a bit over the years we have been coming here with less of a choice of really good restaurants but there are still several good places to eat Juans stake house and Salvator are two good bets and have been consistent over the years,i think the chinese have gone down hill since we have been coming here ( to much monosodium glutermate) Theres also some nice places out on the main road if you take a short taxi ride. I have seen some revews saying that the Vista Badia caters for the germans more then us brits,We have never seen any favoritism for any other country and think every one is treated equally by the very friendly staff all of who would go that extra mile to help and make you welcome.Entertainment, I think they make a good job of the entertainment as well, ok it's not the west end but it's free, the animation team do a play called Dinner for one, it's an old Freddie Frinton sketch it's very funny and andrew who plays the lead has made the piece work a treat and the children love it.You also get a band once a fortnight it's not pink floyd but it's free. They also do a musical which is mimed to,I personally think that this was rubbish. The only thing that we think could be better is the beds, the mattress is very hard it's not like mine at home but i will live.

The hotel is stunning. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment, self-catering which gave us plenty of space and facilities for cooking. The rooms were spacious, modern, clean and looked good. The pool was lovely and there was plenty of sun beds. The bar staff were nice and gave us free drinks every night. The entertainment was good, light-hearted and funny. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone, it was great for couples and families. Will definitely be returning.

Not far from the beach, a 5 minuet walk if that.

Stayed in 1 bedroom self catering appt 7-15 June, 2 adults & 1 child age 12. Hotel was excellent, spotlessly clean & helpful staff. Our ground floor appt overlooked the pool and was also to a high standard, really clean & modern with tv, air con, safe, fridge etc. We never had chance to eat here as ate out every day & night but most guests seemed to be all inclusive & I'd have no worries about being All inc next time. Great location, cheap & cheerful food at kings head next door with evening entertainment if you wanted to venture out from the hotel. Beach was lovely & 5 mins walk away. Good cheap supermarket on way to beach two doors away from Burger King. A lovely English cafe too was next to Burger King selling massive baguettes for two. Lots of young children at hotel & quite a few german people but everyone nice & friendly. No problems in June getting sun beds & it was lovely not to have to get up at the crack of dawn to put your towels on a bed ( which I hate!). We used free wifi in reception every night. One lovely touch was hotel recognising it was my bday from my passport & leaving a bottle of cava in our room on the day, very thoughtful & I enjoyed drinking this. I'm just about to book again next year to take my god daughter & her 2 year old. If you go here you won't regret it.

Room Tip: Ground floor appt was nice overlooking pool.

Just got back from a 2 week stay at Vista Badia & it was superb! This was our 1st stay here but definitely won't be our last - last year we stayed at Club Marthas, Cala dor & I have to be honest, Vista Badia is in a different league! The room was stunning - nice & spacious with 2 wardrobes! The balcony was a bit small but due to the glorious Majorcan sun, it was too hot to sit out there anyway. Rooms are cleaned 5 times a week - including clean towels. The pool area is stunning - clean, tidy & most importantly plenty of sun beds - no frantic queuing at the crack of dawn! The animation team - Jeffrey, Riz, Denise, Lucia & Kevin are fabulous! They work so hard during the day & night & put on some fantastic shows. My little girl loved the kids club - most days it was colouring & games at the club house (which she thoroughly enjoyed) but there were some other fun 'adventures' too like pirates day & a trip to the farm. All the other staff we met (bar staff, receptionists, waiters) were lovely too - couldnt do enough for you. We stayed on a self catering basis, as we have a very fussy 5 year old, so cannot really comment on the food but from what we saw & from what people told us, the food was lovely too. I must recommend 'La Reserva' - mini water park situated just behind Safari Hotel - this cost 21€ an adult & 10.50€ a child to get in but all your food, drinks, ice-creams were included too! Well worth a visit. Sa Coma itself is a lovely resort , plenty of bars, restaurants, shops & the beach is beautiful too. All in all, we had a fantastic holiday & are all ready looking at booking up for next year.
