arrived in the early hours. A party of 4 adults of mixed age from 46 to 73 and one child aged 10 The reception area was very nice and as we were given our room keys quickly, and our rooms were on the first floor 105 and 107 overlooking the pool, although 1 view was a little obscured by a huge pine tree. The rooms were spacious and clean with a nice balcony. As we were very tired, we unpacked quickly and our granddaughter got straight into her bed which was made up in the lounge. She immediately commented that the sheets felt damp and clammy and on checking we found this to be the case. We checked our own bed linen and this too was damp and cold. We reported this to someone on reception who suggested that as they had had a humid day, this could be the reason they felt damp. She also suggested that the balcony door may have been open. As we were very tired, we spent the first nice in uncomfortable damp beds and decided to tackle this when we woke. The sheets were changed for dry ones in the morning, so we said no more. The beds were extremely hard, however, we got used to this and slept reasonably well. On the 3rd night, the sheets were again damp and clammy feeling, and as it had been a hot dry day, we could not see the weather being the cause and thought maybe they just hadn't been dried thoroughly. We had 3 nights when this happened. The room was reasonably good and the shower was excellent. There facilitlies for cooking in the room were ok, though we did not use them often. Cereal bowls could have been bigger and were ok for toddlers but not for us. on the fourth night, i got out of bed to go to the bathroom and slipped on a puddle of water just outside the bedroom door, did not know where it had come from, until my husband did the same thing the next night and he realised it was coming from the air con unit which had a slow drip. This was reported, and we were told this often happens with a change of temperature (never had this in all the time we have been on holiday) and we were told to put a towel on the floor below the air con. We then got to thinking that if the aircon was not working correctly, then this could explain the damp sheets.Nobody checked to see if the problem could be sorted. We also had a small problem with ants in the room and on the balcony, but this was sorted with some spray. Cleaners were very efficient and came in 5 times a week.

The pool was lovely and supervised by a lifeguard. The only criticism i have here is that he mostly sat facing one half of the pool with a tree behind him so most of the time did not watch the other half which i thought was bad as had there been anyone in difficulty, he may not have been aware of it until it was too late.

Entertainment. This was mainly geared towards very small children. between 8.30 and 9.30 they had a mini disco and although it was mostly in German, our granddaughter quite enjoyed it though It was rather babyish most of the time and not really for children over the age of 7, let alone up to the age of 12 as advertised. We decided to give the later show a go a few nights, but this was very poor and we could not even class it as amateurish as it was that poor, the ents team, mostly mimed to the songs and could not dance, so we decided we could not bear to watch it. We did go over to the Safari hotel one night and they did have a good band on, but we were disappointed that there was not much in the way of adult entertainment in our own hotel. on a couple of nights tiny children were still dancing on the stage at nearly midnight with the ents team, so no dancing to be had for the adults. The ents team were friendly enough, but one the team, who seemed to be the main organiser, spoke in a high pitched voice, that went through you whenever she spoke. All in all, we felt it was like a nursery school.

The bar staff were very friendly and efficient. drinks were reasonably priced but the food in the pool bar was pretty average. did not eat in the restaurants so cannot comment.

We did use the wi-fi and found this ok.
Throughout the stay we found a lot of the time, that notices were not very clear, and staff on the whole, did not understand English very well. When they did understand you, the receptionists were helpful.

The hotel is kept very clean, but i would like to see more put into having a decent entertainment team to enable adults to stay in the hotel and enjoy the holiday as much as the children seemed to. There was not much atmosphere in the evening which made you feel as though the evening died after the mini disco and that what should have been entertainment for adults was more for children.. I would say that for anyone without very small children and wanting a bit of entertainment in the evening, this hotel is not for them. We did enjoy some of the holiday, but would not return as a couple.

Hotel was very clean and well looked after.Staff were friendly and helpful. We were self catering and ate lunches and dinners out at the many places within walking distance. Breakfasts were eaten on the balcony at our own pace. Our friends spent the days by the pool happily reading and sunbathing while we went long walks and exploring the area. Both couples had a lovely holiday only meeting up in the evenings to dine together.
On our last day we caught a normal service bus to the Caves of Drache . This is worth a visit. Not too cold either. We will return to this hotel as we felt it was good value for money. The suites were ample for our needs and the area was pleasent.

Room tip: Even numbers are at the back of the hotel. These only get the direct sun in the mornings, so are a little cooler but much quieter.

I was not sure to give this hotel 4 or 5 stars, then I asked myself would I go back, yes.
There are a few minor issues,
we were the first to arrive in to the reserva park one day and the place was not clean, fag butts under sun beds.
This place is not in the hotel, the grounds of the hotel kept very clean.
We traveled with 3 kids, the staff were brilliant cater well for one of our kids who is a coeliac "
The food in the themed restaurants was excellent the breakfast and lunch was very good in the main restaurant dinner was good"
Our favourite drink mojito was not part of the all- inclusive but it didn't stop us having one everyday.
The air-conditioned was very quite and very efficient.
Every hotel has a few faults and I do agree with one review about the gérman kids but is this really,y the hotels fault?

We stayed here self catering for 10 nights with a 7 month old baby. I agree with previous comments that if you are not AI then you are deemed unimportant. We enquired about the themed restaurants and we're told we needed to pay a one off fee of 20 euros each just to activate our card so we could use the restaurants and other facilities on the complex. Our air conditioning was poor and after reporting it to reception took them 3 days to come and have a look at it. After it did improve but still wasn't great. The pool area is lovely and always lots of beds. We always managed to get a parasol but by afternoon these were in short supply. All in all it was a nice hotel but I would not give it 4 stars and certainly wouldn't view it as a Thomson Platinum Hotel.

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry for the problems with the air conditioning and trust that this did not detract too much from the enjoyment of your stay. With regard to the themed restaurants, just to clarify that the price for hotel guests without board arrangements for dinner including drinks is 20 € per adult & 10 € for children 2 - 12 years. There is no fee. We hope to welcome you back soon.
