Fantastic Hotel.

First impressions were very good. Walked into the receiption, and thought it was stunnig, very clean and very friendly staff.

We travelled with a 2 year old and 5 year old, and they loved every minute of this holiday.

The reviews are very mis-leading.

Very ignorant ENGLISH people, expecting everyone to speak English.

The hotel was German run, and had many German families, who were all very polite and very chatty.
The German Children are so much better behaved than English kids, for the full 2 week, my 5 year old boy played with a group of 10 German Kids, aged from 6-12, and they were fantastic together.

Food was very good, plenty of choice every day. Yes the food was more German than English, but who doesn’t like Sausages ???

Salad was very fresh, and varied. 3 meats every day and a fish.

Paella and Champaign on Sundays. Breakfast was our least favourite food time, but if you like Fresh fruit, then you will be happy. Us English like everything Fried, and if its not 'English' or 'Dripping in grease, then WE think is vile.

The Bar was amazing, self service, NO limitations on Drinks, we even got Champaign by the bottle on request. No plastic cups for the Draft Beer (Cruzcampo) !!!
Unlimited Pepsi / Fanta / Sprite for the kids, with Frozen Yogurt all day to cool the them down…….oh yes the Slush puppy goes well with the local Vodka !!! ;)

The kids entertainment was superb, 2 your Dutch people, all day every day, played games, sing songs, draw pictures, dancing, games in the pool. Some of the reviews from
Some people on here have been embarrassing. These entertainers spoke 3 Different languages, so they can interact with all the kids. How on earth is this embarrassing and ignorant ??
Even on their day off, they were in the hotel, chatting with the kids and parents. My kids adored them, and got involved every day. They even get the kids involved in the night time shows.

Maybe the English didn’t like the night time because they don’t have Karaoke, Drinking competitions, Bingo, or N-Dubz playing over and over again to Entertain the Chavy Teens we have in England.

Anyway, this is perfect if you need to relax, and your kids deserve a break.

The rooms were huge, with a kitchen, even though we were All Inclusive, but handy anyway !

Cleaned every day, towels changed.

Breath taking view from every room, from the Balcony.

Great location, 2 and 5 mins walk to 2 amazing beaches.

Sa Coma is quiet and relaxing, some great bars and gorgeous restaurants’ on the Beach front.

We loved this Holiday, and are booking to go back next year.

We went to this Hotel in May with my husband and the hotel was full of German people. The rooms are a bit dated. Rooms are suppose to be cleaned 5 times a week but only cleaned 3 times in a week clean towels once a week and sheets once a week. The food very bad only catered for german people no choice same nearly everyday half the time we walked in and out. It is very poor value for all inclusive. People were taking glasses around the swimming pool and sitting on the edge drinking because the hotel was full of children. The children were not kept under control by there parents. In the evening the entainment was very poor the children used to run around the swimming pool and nearly every night some fell in. One boy nearly drowned he got pushed in the deep end. Drinks were all cheap quality and seem to be all watered down. Also during the day kids would be screeming very noisy. Although this hotel is on the beach front that is the only good thing about this hotel. Will never go back again.

Just come back from holiday at the Playa Dorada Hotel.Had a fab time,The Hotel was kept very clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpfull especially in the resaurant. The food was excelent and varied from day to day, the paela was especially nice as we have had it at other hotels and not thought much of it. Tony the waiter was lovely and reserved our table for us as there was 4 adults and 1 child and you would sometimes find 2 people sitting at a table set for 4 or 5 people. The rooms were in need of a little up dating and the beds are a little hard as i have a bad back. but we had an excelent view of the pool and the sea.The main beach is just 2 minuets away and is clean and safe to paddle or swim in. If you go along to the end of the promenade there are plenty of shops and restaurants where you could eat if you fancy a change from the all inclusive menu. Or you could go to sillot to the small beach there where it is nice and shallow for children to catch small fish and to find hermit crabs. On the whole we had a fab holiday and would definately go back again.

Stayed here two years ago and any potential customers need to realise how bad this hotel is.The Hotel is geared to cater for the german tourist not British/Irish.

I lived on Bread Rolls for most of the week. Also spent a fortune at the local restaurants as the food was so poor at the Hotel.Quality of the local alcohol was also poor but one invariably find this at A/I.

Usual 2/3 star nonsense ,up early to find a sun lounger, rubbish food, poor entertainment,
limited facilities.Overbooked on first night tried to persuade us to stay in another Hotel.
Had to demand our room.Nothing for Teenagers in terms of entertainment.

Misold the holiday, went to ABTA for some support.Managed to secure £200 compensation.Met some nice Germans ,Welsh and English people and this did a bit to offset the disaster.will never go back.

Room:
+ve : clean, spacious, air con works, sea view
-ve : balcony is overlooked by neighbours, i have a 15 month old daughter and she couldn't get to sleep cos the entertainment on the terrace in the evening was just too loud. this was at 10pm. was told that all rooms overlook the terrace/seaview and they couldn't do anything with the entertainment, have to pay for tv ie. deposit, no hairdryer/ kettle provided.

Location/Amenities:
+ve: 2 min walk to beach, spar just across the road, beauitful beach & scenery

General: I thought the hotel and its amenities was average. It wasn't a disaster. Food ok..breakfast is the same everyday.. lunch/ evening meal was slightly better. The beach was nice though.
