We have just returned from a fabulous week long stay here. We arrived out of hours but were greeted and given a comprehensive tour of the villa. It really is like the pictures! You immediately feel relaxed, and the bottle of cava chilling in the fridge certainly helped! The kitchen is very well equipped, and personally we had no issue with there not being an oven as some have mentioned, as we cooked creatively and used the hob for things we would have used an oven for - but we mostly had salads and BBQ's. The Mercadona just up the road is great, with a fabulous selection of fresh fish and breads. Its very cheap, with wine at 1.50 euros upwards, and spirits from 8 euros. We never ate out as we enjoyed cooking so much. The roof terrace is great, we had a lovely warm jacuzzi most evenings, just keep pressing the on button once in a while throughout the day to keep it hot. I spoke to reception a few times with regard to issues with our hire car and to arrange a late check out. Everyone was totally charming and could not do enough to help us. The security guards on the gate are incredibly friendly too. Corralejo was ok, the harbour end was very pretty, but there are alot of touristy bars and reastaurants up the top end - fine if you like that kind of thing - but we wanted to avoid the whole "burger and pizza" thing which was touted at you everytime you walked past a restaurant. I would advise hiring a car - its a very quiet town and easy to navigate, and you are only a 5 min drive from the beautiful golden sand dunes. Worth doing as the small beach in town was very busy.
My only downside would be the towels - take your own as the 2 that are provided are small and thin. With regard to the TV - I personally loved that there was no English channels - I am in a Spanish country, and I want to watch their TV!
We will be going back for sure!

Room Tip: Ask to be in a quiet area as I could imagine it would be very noisy with children in a villa next to...

I booked a Superior Club Villa for the last week of March. The booking was for myself and my partner, as well as 2 friends. Everything went extremely smoothly - an email confirmation was sent out and they asked us for our flight details to make sure reception was open at our arrival. Just make sure to ask for pick-up from the airport 3 days prior to arrival, as this will not be arranged otherwise. There were plenty of taxis at the airport and the fare was approx. 45 euros.
The girl at reception was lovely, and was fluent in English, Italian, and a few other languages. Check-in was simple and straightforward - they gave us a map of the island and talked us through the few options in terms of excursions, best restaurants, beaches, etc.
We were than taken to our villa - it was BEAUTIFUL. All white, minimal decor, open plan living room and kitchen, 3 bedrooms (master double bedroom with huge ensuite, twin bedroom, and double bedroom, both with en suite), pool area/jacuzzi with small dining table and sun loungers, upstairs terrace with a longer dining table, bbq, balinese bed and bar, all the essentials (including a hairdryer in the main bathroom and safe), and an incredible sound system throughout the entire villa. We could listen to music in the swimming pool, terrace, bbq area or inside the house! We asked for a heated pool (only heats to 25 deg C) and although the weather great for most of the holiday, the pool was still a bit too cold. Also, the hotel policy on number of bath towels seems to be very strict as we had someone come to check that we actually were left with 2 towels, instead of 4 after the cleaning service. Having a washing machine on the terrace solved the issue as we washed the towels every couple of days. My only suggestion would be to pack a beach towel!
We went out to Corralejo town every night, and the cab fare was only 3 euros! Great restaurants all around town, and we also managed to see the last night of the Carnival. The villa is a 3 minute walk to a huge supermarket, where the selection of meat and fish is incredible, so it made spending time in the villa even more enjoyable.
Overall, the Villa was a fantastic place to unwind and spend some time with loved ones and friends, and we are all looking forwards to going back next year!

We had a a wonderful stay at this resort. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast. Good food in the restaurant. The villas was large, really nice and beautiful and felt luxurious. Paddle tennis was fun. We felt really welcome by the staff.
We didn't use the jacuzzi, to small and 32 degrees C is also too cold.
We took some walks through the desert to the beach. It was a fun walk. There was a red flag, because of the high waves the whole week, so it was good to have the pool at the villa.
We can recommend these resort and will probably be back next year.

the negatives first, get them out of the way:
- the wifi is a joke, it reminds one of the old days of dial-up connections (serious, endless wait!)
- the TV has one single english speaking programme, only
- the kitchen could have an oven, maybe
- the beds are tiny, a double at best, not too good for a romantic stay (serious, guys, get a king size into the main bedroom!)

but then the positives:
- the highlight for us: the restaurant at the resort, which we did NOT find overpriced at all, the food is seriously good, with gigantic portions, served by a super-friendly staff
- bahiazul is spotless (and the ants "visitors" can be sprayed)
- everyone is friendly
- the place is calm and tranquil
- downtown corralejo is literally 5 euros away in a taxi - we always walked down and took a taxi back up, and it is a sweet little old-style spanish seafront (avoid the high street and the party area)

note:
- if you want pool towels, you need to ask for them at reception, no problems, just pick them up
- if you consider taking a boat to lanzarote, check out the schedule properly, and make sure you take some ID to the port they ask for some ID to purchase a ticket and travel, like airlines. no big deal, just dont forget.

Room Tip: we stayed at 6/9, but they all seem the same "cut"

Just back from a 7 night stay (end Feb 2014). Never booked a holiday direct before but Sven, Paulo and the team made it really easy from start to end! The complex is spotless, they have a great team of staff and nothing was ever too much for any of the team. When we arrived we even got a friendly greeting from the security guard on the front gate. He took our bags and directed us to the reception. Check in was fuss free and we then had a really lovely man take us to our apartment where he spent the next 15 minutes showing us how everything worked in the apartment from the lights in the pool down to the jacuzzi. Brilliant holiday all round, would defiantly go again

We decided on this holiday after seeing an offer on secret escapes. Having never booked a holiday this before i was a little nervous. I neednt have been. we flew in on Saturday, arranged the hotel to pick us up by private taxi, which was waiting, and then a 35 minute transfer to the hotel.
We were checked in and our bags brought around to the villa. The villa looked just as it does on the web sites and was immaculately clean.

Now one thing to note, which was never mentioned until arrival, is that the restaurant and the local supermarket are both closed on a sunday, so if you arrive after 9pm on a saturday you are scuppered for breakfast on a sunday. The taxis are running though and just ask the security person to call you one, they work out at about 4.30 euros into town.

Taxis are your best friend as the villas are about two miles from the town centre and the marina. Its a decent walk down, but a long walk back up. There is also a ferry port which you can catch a ferry over to playa blanca in lanzerote in the marina for about 50 euros for a couple.

The villas themselves are great,(ours was a premier garden villa) very private and spread over two floors with your own private pool ,jaquzzi and rooftop bar b q. The jaquzzi is on a 3 hour timer so you have to keep remembering to press the timer button or else it goes cold. Our pool didnt have heating, but some pools do at an extra cost(book ahead), but by all accounts they are still pretty cold, as ours was, but great when it gets hot in the afternoons, once you have dared yourself to go in! If you have an ipod take it, to make use of the connection that sends your music all around the villa, and also to the outside pool and bar b q areas, a great touch.
The whole place is spotlessly clean, with staff continuously working to that effect, the villas are cleaned every four days. The breakfast choice is huge, catering for both British and continental, and you can eat as much as you like, and there is even an individual news sheet printed for the world and uk headlines available.

We didnt use the spa so dont know what that was like.

If you are considering booking these villas and are a bit unsure, dont be, we had 11 nights in March, the weather was warm about 21/22 degrees all the time, a little bit of cloud and light wind but lovely the majority of time. The town of Correlejo has approx 100 bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes. My personal favourite was the rock island bar for some laid back live acoustic surfer /hippie style evenings which had a great vibe.

We also hired a car through the helpful reception staff, and that cost 120 Euros for four days. There a few roads on the island, but what there are, are new and very easy to drive on, north to soUth of the island takes about 2 hours but a very easy drive.

Overall we couldnt be happier with our choice of destination and accomodation for this time of the year, great place to unwind and catch some winter/spring sunshine.

Room Tip: try to choose south facing room for late sunshine, our room was but no heated pool the room was C-6...

This was our second visit here in 3 years. Wasn't dissapointed second time around as the facilities within the complex are lovely with a great team of staff maintaining the grounds and villas. Having the breakfast each day was well worth the upgrade. The restaurant staff were very attentive and the food always lovely.
