“Fantastic”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

Just back from a girls holiday. First time to Fuerteventura but it won't be my last. We had a garden villa which I thought was great. It was spacious and well equipped. The pool was a little cold but not more so than other places I have stayed. We were booked for Bed and Breakfast. The breakfast was great. A fantastic selection.
The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. It was my friends birthday during the stay. There was a gift of champagne and chocolates left for her which I thought was a nice touch. The location is a little bit away from the main drag but a taxi only costs 4 or 5 euros and will come to your villa.
There were 4 of us so 2 shared a twin room. Only niggle was the lack of door to the shower/ toilet area. You could not see directly in but if sharing with another adult a lack of privacy might be an issue. The villas were quiet and suited us very well. I would certainly return to this accommodation.
If it is your first visit to Corralejo be sure to visit the square in the old town which has restaurants and entertainment. Also just off the main drag is La Mama an Argentinian restaurant which does an excellent fillet steak on a stone. It was fantastic.

Excellent accommodation and the estate was absolutely immaculate and well maintained, stayed for a week in May 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed the vacation. The villa was as expected, no issues encountered and as there were only the two of us it was quite spacious inside, it would be even better value for money for a family of four as there are two adjoining rooms with direct access to the pool area. Staff onsite including the reception staff, security staff at the main entrance the restaurant staff and the cleaners we came into contact with we're all very pleasant, helpful and professional. Location is ideal if you are used to walking or have a car otherwise take a taxi which is very reasonably priced. We are used to walking and it took us roughly 50 minutes to get down into the centre of Coralego. I would have no hesitation in recommending these Villas to either family or friends and would consider returning if we ever returned to Coralego. There is a large supermarket located within 5 minutes walk from the main gates which has everything you could possibly require including a well stocked fish and meat counter if you want to you take advantage of the barbecue located on the roof of the Villa. The supermarket also has a good selection of wines and beers.

Room Tip: We stayed in Villa 6-6 which was located in a quiet row of similar sized villas, very peaceful and...

Our 2nd time here and the quality is still excellent. It is quiet, away from the noise of the town but still only 4min by taxi. Restaurant is excellent although closed on a Sunday. It was my partners birthday and the staff brought as champagne for breakfast and then sent another bottle is champagne and chocolates to our villa a lunch time. In the evening our meal was topped off with yet more complimentary champagne. We will be back again next year, superb.

This was our second time at The Bahiazul and it won't be our last. Some reviewers have given the villas a hard time for various reasons including it being too quiet or being too far (4 minutes in a taxi) from Corralejo town. However, if you do your research before travelling, you will find all the information you might need regarding it's location. We like the Villas and Club Bahiazul for the same reasons that others might dislike it. It's very quiet and a villa that is not overlooked is available if requested. The decor is plain, mainly white and may be a bit tired looking in places but that's hardly a hanging offence. And you can request a heated pool (for a charge) or you could 'Man Up' and use it as is. I was in the pool daily. It was perfectly pleasant and I didn't die of hypothermia! A hire car is recommended for the island as many of the towns and villages are miles apart and there is a lot to see if you choose to get out and about. The beaches are the best in Europe and many are naturist beaches. So if you are worried about coming across 'Herman von Klackerbag' and the like on your travels, again, do your research. The staff and particularly the security at the villas is superb and help and advice is only a phone call away. In short, If you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday, this place is perfect. If you want party animal central, try an all inclusive in Magaluf!

Room Tip: Better wifi quality closer to reception

For a resort that clearly states "luxury villas" I am wondering where they are, I stayed in a "premier" villa which is suppose to be the best?!

It's best described as shabby chic at best! the photos on the web site must be years old !

Also not impressed that you have to pay for a heated pool, which seems to work out at €22 a day! So I didn't use the pool in 5 days ! What a waste.

Also was disappointed that had 2 cockroaches in the villa on arrival!

I also requested to check out 4 hours later due to flight time, was told I'd have to pay €50 even though they had availability of these villas, despite pleading with them as I did not arrive until 9pm on day of arrival and I had paid from 2pm, all seems a little unfair !

The food at the restaurant was limited and not particularly good.

I wish I had stayed at a hotel as the location is in the middle of nowhere, they couldn't even offer a shuttle to the airport.

As a world traveller, I must say I am very disappointed and could have gone to Thailand for a week instead of wasting my money here!

I remeber you, that we have no influence on the arrival time of the clients. And as a world traveller you should know, the official check in is at 14h and check out 11am. As unfair as it seems to you, it was the flight you have chosen

We do renovate constantly our villas to offer a high standard villas, this depends on the occupancy.
We are known for being a very relaxing establishment, where the guest can enjoy of a very lovely and quiet holidays.
The location of Bahiazul is perfect to enjoy a relaxing holidays out side the town center and close enough to visit the town within 5 min drive, or aprox. 30 min Walk.

We stayed for a week from 3 - 10 April.
The accommodation is fantastic. But, the best bit about this place is the staff. They could not do enough for you. Absolutely first class service from everyone. The most friendly, hospitable and caring staff that we have come across in a very long time.
The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is outstanding. The food is sumptuous yet very reasonably priced. The restaurant staff are true professionals and you can see they relish in providing an excellent service.
Overall, a really excellent break.

We have stayed at Bahiazul for a week in end of April.
We have rented the car from Plus Car, very cheap and didn't have to pay for petrol up front.
It takes around 40 minutes to drive from the airport to Corralejo, roads are safe and in very good condition, there is hardly any traffic and its very easy to get into Bahiazul.
The complex is well maintained, clean and really beautiful.
We have booked with Katis Villas to make sure we get the best service, after reading some posts here I just wanted hassle free holiday.
Girls at Katis are very friendly and helpful with big smiles and positive attitude.
We have stayed in Greek villa, with heated swimming pool and jacuzzi.
The villa was spotless and well equipped inclusive of portable oven/grill, (people here often mention the lack of oven in Bahiazul Villas), citrus presser, two coffee makers.
The shower was very powerful and internet fast.
The weather was lovely, warm and a bit windy and we used pool a lot, the pool area is perfect for sunbathing and chilling, sunny almost all day, the roof terrace area has got a sun until end of the day.
We had breakfast once at Bahiazul restaurant, pricey but worth the money, hot and cold food including different breads, cakes, pastries, fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese etc
I can not fault anything at villa and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect holiday.
