My friend and I stayed for a week to celebrate our birthday. Stayed for a week from 18-15 June. Having read the reviews I was starting to get a bit concerned about our apartment, however I was pleasantly surprised and relieved to find that it was better than I expected. The apartment was basic, but clean. We had our towels changed x3 times. As we were staying a week, the sheets were not changed, but I expected that and it was said in the information sheet. Kitchenette had a microwave, kettle and a two ringed hob with basic cooking utensils. On our first night the kettle fused, causing other appartments to have a power cut!, but the kettle was quickly replaced. We only used the restaurant once and as we were not all inclusive, we had to pay 10 euros for the buffet. The food was basic and cold, so we ate out the rest of the week. The apartment is close to the centre and to the beach, so excellent location. The apartment did not have a hairdrier, so glad I brought my own. The staff were accomadating and friendly. Some people we met who had stayed here on several occasions said that the appartments had improved greatly since Antonio (the manager) had taken it over. (Lovely man). The complex was quiet; no entertainment, but having stayed in different appartments in the Canaries I was quite grateful!!!! If you want a luxury apartment, don't come here. If you want a cheap holiday, with friendly and helpful staff, (who work really hard), then ignore the bad reviews. I would come here again. PS. If you want a sunday roast, I recommend a place called Penny Lane. Wonderful roast dinner with lovely and friendly staff.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 87 which is near the kids and main pool. Has 2 steps going up to the ground floor...

Just returned Saturday 14th June. Me and my wife Lorraine spent a fortnight at Alisos Playa, and enjoyed our time there. The apartments were basic but roomy and clean, with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and cooker and cooking utensils . we were all inclusive, but it is always good to have the odd Pot noodle, toast and your own coffee at hand. The food was basic, but usually found something to our needs, but as in all hotels etc you get sick of the same old routine so ate out few nights. The Staff were very friendly Catherine at reception, Antonio the manager,Andrea at kitchen/bar, William at bar/ kitchen and Jose (Mucho Loco) bar/ Kitchen and not forgetting the cleaning staff and maintenance who work so hard they all made us feel welcome from day one .There was no entertainment at apartments and bar shut at 11.00 pm but as we came for relaxing holiday was fine. Will be back again as we found the whole Holiday very relaxing

ive just got back on 6th june from a 12 day holiday in the alisios playa aparthotel and as a woman of 56 years old and travelled alone for the first time i was a bit unsure after reading the reviews but i really had nothing to worry about i had an absolutely fabulous time i emailed the hotel before i arrived to ask for an upper apartment as i was a bit afraid being a woman alone and my needs were met. The staff are all lovely the food was absolutely fine a good variety full english and continental breakfast lunch and evening meals was a good variety an overall great place to stay and will definatly be going there again and will feel safe going alone must mention Catherine on reception and william on the pool bar they are great people and made me feel very welcome and many more of the staff too many to mention but thanks for a great holiday and will see you all again soon... and totally agree with the reviews i have read since i came home if you want 5 star pay for 5 star but would definatly rate this hotel at 3 star plus.

Room Tip: i prefered an upper apartment

When reading the reviews we were very worried about staying at this hotel and even tired to change a few times however I'm so glad we didn't! The staff were very friendly and would help whenever you asked them and also had a smile on there face. The room was clear, and had an area to cook if needed and a space to relax. The bedroom was basic but all that was needed, and the sheets were changed every other day and apartment cleaned, the cleaning staff were also very friendly. The pool was clean and cleaned everyday as far as I could tell. There were a few bugs however we expected this! The food was good and we happily ate there everyday.
The location is great as the beach is close and so are the shop, all within walking distance.
Don't believe the bad reviews! You pay for what you get, very reasonable.
If you are expecting 5 star quality pay more, this is only rated 2 star, I would personally rate as a 3 or 3.5 - don't have unrealistic expectation!

Room Tip: Our room was 66, low floor, there was little to no noise, close to the pool and resultant area and o...

After reading the bad reviews before travelling and staying in Alisios playa in fuerteventura I was concerned. But after arriving and staying for ten days I've got nothing out utter appraisal for the hotel. The staff are very warm and friendly, the food is decent and the apartments are good considering the price. For people who write bad reviews, maybe you should upgrade the expectations next time and pay more. I would recommended this place to family and friends that are thinking of travelling to fuerteventura.

We have just got back from a two week stay at the Alisios Playa.

The apartments are basic but clean and comfortable .

Maid service every other day and with six of us In the apartment it was much appreciated .

The staff were great, very friendly and couldn't do enough for us.

We went self catering but we did have breakfast on the last day ,lots of choice ,very nice.

Centrally located .

Don't believe the bad reports. We have just returned from a wonderful week's holiday in Alisios Playa. Our apartment had only just been refurbished with new furniture and was comfortable and had everything we needed. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Katherine and William who really helped us make the most of our holiday. We went all inclusive for the first time and found the food was well prepared and presented with sufficient but not extensive choices at all meals (but it is 2/3* not 5* and we didn't choose it for the food as we had a 16 year old with us). It's pretty central with both beach and town only a few minutes walk away, we also hired the bikes on a couple of occasions and explored the town this way. Communal areas were clean, friendly and peaceful. We would go back again.
