“Another best holiday”

What to write after enjoying such best trip? After last year I thought it cant be better. But it was. Hotel stayed the same very, very good condition. Stuff was even better then last year (what I thought can not be).

Meals were excellent, HB was enough for us, just tasting everything was almost imposible.

It was good to contact before visit for getting the room we wanted (looking at Lobos for us). Be a member of RIU club is also good, we got a discount for points from last year (good thing).

The beach was wonderful, we enjoyed long beach walks even going by foot from Corralejo.

So, at the end, when we plan next holidays, it will be probably here again. But next time with hiring a car and driving south.

Only thing for improving are the lifts - they are so slow!

Room Tip: RIU club member, contact before visit for saying what you want. For us best possibility is Lobos vie...

We stayed at the riu palace for 1 week and loved every minute of being there. We have been a side ocean facing view overlooking islands of Lobos and Lanzarote.

The food and drinks at the hotel were fine and we found that atmosphere at the hotel had a good feel to it.

We made a few trips to Corralejo for shopping and drinks and thought that the resort was small and not overbuilt however really pleasant and well equipped.

Would we return? Definitely. We are looking forward to going back, hopefully very soon.

Wow- just returned from a ten night stay at this wonderful hotel! It is the perfect place for total rest and relaxation- wonderful beaches to walk on,lovely pool area and jacuzzi's with sea views. Rooms very clean- we ended up in a junior suite with lots of space and a fantastic view. Choice of food excellant, something for everyone. Ate breakfast on the terrace most mornings. Staff so friendly and attentive. Evening entertainment on the whole very good. Had some excellant acts on and lots of variety. The only thing, the entertainment was finished by 11pm each night.
We visited Corralejo one day by walking on the beach from the hotel. We only visited it once and that was enough for us. We just enjoyed our time at the hotel-on the beach etc. We really hope to return one day!

Room Tip: All rooms seem to have sea view-would not pay extra for.

Just back from 2 weeks at the Tres Islas- now we see why it gets so many returning guests. Check-in was smooth including the welcome glass of cava while the cases were taken to the room. The hotel is ideally located on a superb beach, it is spotlessly clean and the staff are both friendly and efficient. The food is terrific - lots of choice and always fresh & well cooked. Choice includes roast beef, duck, suckling pig as well as shrimp, local specialities and puddings/ice cream to die for! (Never got as far as the cheeses but they looked great too!) Breakfast offered a huge range of just about everything you could imagine including pancakes, fruit, cold meats/salads, various breads/pastries and even diet versions for those health conscious guests. We read the other reviews including the one about the cockroach- we were at Krystal at the time and would say it was not as alarming when you consider you are abroad and there will be 'beasties' we don't generally get at home!!!, The staff cope with all eventualities and take everything in their stride and always politely and with a smile- to their credit as it cannot be easy. The whole hotel 'just works' and while it is clearly a big hotel with lots of guests it never felt too crowded- there were those that would queue at dinner time but within 10 minutes this had cleared - we would just sit at the bar enjoying our aperitif and olives!! We had a suite with a sea view and again the housekeeping staff kept it very clean with fresh towels at turnown. The beds are a bit hard as others have said but you soon get used to them and this did not impact on our sleep. The evening entertainment was lively, fun and you do begin to wonder what the next night may hold!! There are lots of sun loungers and umbrellas although there is plenty shade from the palm trees if you want it. We never had any problem getting a spot near the pool and of course the pool bar. There is also waiter service round the pool so you don't even have to rise from the lounger!. The beach is so handy too if you fancy a change, the sand is fine & golden (and clean) and the waves are always great due to the ever present wind.

All in all we had a terrific holiday and didn't feel the need to venture far from the hotel as all our needs were catered for superbly. We generally don't visit the same hotel twice but we both said the Tres Islas will be the exception to the rule. No hesitation in recommending this hotel if you want a relaxing holiday in lovely surroundings with good food/service.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms overlook the pool too - get the sun earlier in the day so by evening are a bit cooler...

Stayed there in early June for one week. Very solid hotel experience at 4 star quality. The rooms are a bit dated but the quality of service and the world-class beach make up for it. We arrived and had booked the cheapest room category, but upon us asking for a better room we were given an ocean-view room at no additional cost. How amazing is that?! The food was always plentiful and of good quality. We had to reserve loungers and an umbrella at the pool every morning (around 9:30 each day) or we probably wouldn't have gotten something in the shade. They should update the umbrellas, to be honest, some were in tatters. The pools were nice and warm, no complaints in that regard. We had booked half-board, sometimes we took our rental car to Corralejo to get lunch or go shopping, that was convenient (Autoreisen, only 86 € for the cheapest car for one week).
We've been to Fuerteventura a few times and stayed in several hotels, this is definitely the best if you want a beautiful beach and nature surrounding you.

Room Tip: Ocean-view is a must!

Although the hotel is large we received personal service throughout our stay. All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The location is stunning. The timed sittings (6.30pm & 8.30pm) for the dining room is abit regimented but necessary the for number of guests they're catering for. Staff continually replenished and refreshed the food, so everything was hot and looked attractive. We had no problems with queues at the buffet because we just wait a few minutes at our allocated table until the queue had dispersed. One evening we ate in the Krystal Restaurant (a totally different dining experience from the main restaurant). It's intimate/fine dining (maximum 24 covers) and is waiter service. At no extra cost for guest who are full or half board, it's worth having a change from the mass experience. As some of the other reviewers reported the beds are uncomfortable - don't expect to sink into bed at night, it's more like lying on a brick! I asked for a mattress topper and this did help. The main reception has WiFi but the internet is very slow. The quality of the evening entertainment varied and the smoking on at the tables on the terrace was unpleasant. The areas around the swimming pools was lovely. We had massages (with Marianna) and they were excellent. The holiday was 'very' good value for money and I'm sure one day we'll return for another stay.

Room Tip: We had an additional supplement (£100) for a sea view. Our room was larger and more comfortable tha...

This is a really nice hotel and everything the other positive reviews say are correct, we enjoyed our stay, the hotel is of a high standard , the staff are helpful , well mannered and in a great location on an idyllic beach and my only complaint would have been about the smoking issue in the outside seating area.
I tell a lie I always have a gripe about the Riu meal arrangements , they are the same at all their hotels and they are a scrum. So when I found out they had an a la carte restaurant with waiter service my heart leapt with joy, what I didn't realise is that we would not be alone! Mid way into the starter a huge cockroach decided to come out of the kitchen and perch near my wife, who jumped in horror. The waitress dispatched the rascal with a brush and we reluctantly carried on, only a few minutes later to be joined by its mate from the kitchen who popped out to see what all the fus was about!
At the end of the meal I asked to see the Duty Manager as I feel in England one cockroach would have been enough to close a restaurant, two and I think the Restaurant Inspector would have committed Hari Kari . I was told that there was no Duty Manager actually on duty until the morning so God knows what would happen in a fire. We complained left our room details, even told the Thomson rep the following day but were not told if any remedial action will be taken.
It's a shame because we liked the Hotel but feel this is an issue over cleanliness and should be dealt with quickly, we didn't feel any immediate action would be taken.

Room Tip: Pay for a sea view, although all views are good
