If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful location, then this lovely hotel is the one for you. Situated on the gorgeous sand dunes, a taxi ride from the town of Corralejo, we have just returned from our fourth visit. The décor is traditional and very comfortable, although I think the bedrooms would now benefit from some refurbishment. This hotel does seen to attract retired people and couples but there were a few families with young children. Over the Easter period a childrens club had been in operation but this was then discontinued. The food was good, with the option of two sittings for dinner and all the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. If you look to spending your evenings in the hotel, the entertainment is a mix of music from the resident duo and assorted variety acts. A wonderful holiday, people do return again and again!

Room Tip: The staff are very anxious to please. Guests with any concerns about their rooms were offered altern...

My wife and I have just returned home from a fantastic one week break at the impeccable RIU Palace Tres Islas Hotel. We tend to favour RIU hotels when we book holidays as their very high standards are consistent whatever the star rating or wherever they are located and this hotel is by no means an exception. The location is however exceptional with a beach lovers dream stretching as far as the eye can see. The decor is very traditional for a Palace Hotel (which we both like) and is impeccable. The staff (as always with RIU) are very polite, attentive and extremely well trained in serving the Hotel clientele. The food (even for a RIU Hotel) is incredibly good, varied, plentiful and of exceptional quality and well presented. Our room, with a sea view facing towards Corralejo was spacious and, as with the rest of the hotel, immaculately clean and serviced daily.
For those who feel that the beds are a bit on the firm side (and we didn't) toppers will be fitted upon request from reception.
Flights both ways were uneventful, on time and of shorter duration than the itinerary suggested, which was good. All in all, an excellent, restful holiday in a dream location to which we hope to return to, soon!!!

Room Tip: Our room was facing towards Corralejo and had a fantastic view but little or no sun. Try to choose a...

My husband and I have just returned from a weeks holiday at this hotel. Both of us really enjoyed our stay. I agree that the beds are too hard, especially for me as I have arthritis. I spoke to a guy at reception and asked for a mattress topper and the next morning one was put on both of the beds in our room. Problem solved.
The food was good especially in the new restaurant downstairs. The pool was warmish, there were plenty of sun beds, clean fluffy soft pool towels every day and the beach location truly fantastic. The weather was great @26 degrees, sunny but quite windy, which didn't bother us at all.
We would definitely go back.

Room Tip: If you like the evening sun on your balcony ask for a view overlooking the sand dunes.

Was there for a week over at the beginning of May14 with wife and daughter (5).
Don't normally use the kids clubs, but the girl (Mai) was great, as we're the facilities.. Getting the children out of the sun during the peak hours was useful. They did all kinds of crafts.. The outdoor kids activities including yoga, body-board races, fashion shows etc all went down well, as did the dance classes and kids disco games..
Temperature around 25-26.
Basic gym, but clean, with towels, drinking water etc.
Food excellent.
Pool and beach are perfect for kids.
Moved rooms as first room was near generator (quite loud on first night). Moved us no problem.
Hotel was not at full capacity when we went, which was nice..

We have just returned from spending a week at this hotel & without exception we will be visiting again. From arrival to departure nothing was any trouble for the staff, happy, friendly & efficient would be the best way to describe them. Everything was as we had wished for & as this was part of a birthday treat for my wife she was 'absolutely delighted' with every thing. There are only two critisicm's which are, hard beds (her gripe) & overpriced bar drinks (my gripe). But then it's a hotel so you expect to pay more than average for a bar drink but these were very overpriced in my opinion, so if you are a big drinker buy your drink outside the hotel. A good mix of age groups, singles, couples & families but everybody was very pleasant. All in all we would recommend this hotel & will certainly be visiting again.

Room Tip: Get a room on either the 3rd, 4th or 5th floor overlooking the dunes for the evening sun & views...

We have just returned from another visit to this lovely hotel. The front desk staff are still second to none which after a relatively long journey is essential. The rooms are still clean and kept that way by a very friendly and capable team of workers. The restaurant still manages to produce excellent food with something for everyone.
Our only criticisms, and believe me after our last stay we were surprised there would be any are these. We always ate outside for breakfast which is quite popular so tables can be at a premium. On a couple of occasions the waiting staff bypassed us and offered tables to German guests. One German lady was embarrased by this reprimanded the waiter and offered us the table. We have noticed this on a few occasions and we don't understand why as all the guests mix well and are very polite. This was also the case at dinner when ordering wine. Our little pleasure is to order good red wine which should always be served in larger glasses.Last year this happend all the time. This year not so much although again the German guests around us were afforded this little extra.
Our stay was still wonderful but it would be a shame if standards started slipping.

Room Tip: Always choose sea view

Our second holiday at this hotel, never before have we returned to the same place but this one is just a bit special. If you want heaps of activities, lots of places to visit and somewhere that is buzzing then this isn't the place......however if you want excellent service, comfortable rooms, exceptional food, beaches that stretch for miles and the warmest welcome imaginable then this IS the place.
The evening entertainment isn't something that particularly interests us but we did truly enjoy listening to the pianist and the resident duo, both played easy listening music which was very nice. This year the entertainment was outside on the terrace (when we were at the hotel late last year it was inside)...nice that this time we could all enjoy the warmth of the evening and the music too.
The cleanliness at this hotel is impeccable, both in the rooms and the public areas.
On both occasions that we have visited the hotel we have eaten a couple of times in the snack restaurant at lunchtime and the food has been wonderful.
The staff are just amazing, everyone stops what they are doing to say Hola or Buenas Dias and nothing is too much trouble. There were just a couple of the bar staff who were a bit offhand and favoured the people they knew as regulars but they were very much in the minority, the rest were just lovely.
As far as the restaurant is concerned it has to be the best ever buffet choice ! A special thanks here to two ladies who looked after us so very well, Maider and Marta.
No doubt, we definitely will return to Tres Islas and it won't be long before we do.
And for anyone reading this and looking forward to their stay there we hope you enjoy it as much as we did !
