“Amazing, Best holiday EVER!!!!!!!!!!”
Reviewed 21 April 2010

This hotel is just the best ever....NO complaints at all... a tip... buy drinks from local shop at the end of the road or in main town & tell reception you wish to use the mini bar for your own stuff ( put the mini bar contents on the side) job done. Me & my other half want to go back ASAP.. we LOVED it :)

This is an excellent hotel and meets its rating of 4*
The Service and Staff were most friendly and attentive.
The Hotel, the Pool Areas and the Gardens were immaculate.
Very European with smart people.
No music in public areas - MARVELLOUS
The Food is to a good standard but at times lacks imagination.
The price of drinks are rather on the high side, but good measures!!!
I would recommend this if you want a relaxing, quiet, sophisticated break in a beautiful location

I've just got back from a weeks stay at the Tres Islas(7th-14th March) and i'm wishing I was still there!
It was our first holiday away with our two year old daughter and I must say we had a brilliant time.

The hotel is clean, the staff are efficient and friendly and the location is fab.

I love my food and wasn't dissappointed with the resturaunt, although it is a bit of a free for all, the germans seemed to think there was a food shortage on!!
The pool area was great, pool was a bit cold but once you're in you soon warm up, the weather was a lovely 25 degrees. Loads of sunbeds but you still get the Germans wandering around in the dark putting their towels out at silly o'clock in the morning!
Evening entertainment is very low key but that's what we wanted, we were happy to sit around and watch our daughter dancing with the other children.
My one complaint is that the drinks are very expensive, our bill came in at nearly 400 euros for one week.
All in all a wonderful holiday and I would recommend it highly.

Chose to stay here having read numerous good reviews on Trip Advisor and the hotel exceeded our expectations. We were met off the coach with glasses of champagne from staff who took our cases up to our room and appeared genuinely pleased to have us staying. This was a sentiment that continued throughout our trip. One of the highlights was the buffet food and the a la carte restaurant downstairs; all very fresh, imaginative dishes that varied from day to day. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to people with children but then that's precisely why we chose it... because it was quiet and relaxing. There was the usual issue of rudeness around the pool when it came to bagging the best sun loungers but the hotel can't be blamed for having German guests. My wife and I loved this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic position on two breathtaking unspoilt beaches, just a 5 min taxi ride from downmarket Corralejo but feels like miles away thank goodness (i.e. Tattooz'n'booze, Mrs Fish n chips, 7 pints pub, and many more)
I'll try to be brief and just add a few practical tips, things I wish others could have told me before I went.

Food: For a 'Spanish' hotel we thought this was the best buffet food we'd experienced. The choices were vast and varied and you would have to be very picky indeed to find fault.
Breakfast can be taken outside.

Sunbeds: A few early towels on beds but on the whole no problem.

European cousins: In our opinion that made the standard of the hotel even better! No loud, brash, flash, common, scruffy English people (and yes, I am English!).

The Staff: Without exception the most curteous and professionnal we'd ever come across and we never felt we were given any worse treatment to the Germans in the hotel.

Room: Excellent Sea view room, no need for a suite - our room had a complimentary fruit bowl, bottle of wine and bottle of Cava as well as water, and a mini bar.
Brilliant position, No: 419, perfect views. I emailed in advance to request high floor near end of a wing and got exactly what I asked for.
The one thing I would have loved to have known in advance was that you can hire travel kettles for your room. They allow you to take crockery, milk, tea and coffee to your room from the breakfast room. The selection of hot drinks was very good.

Entertainment: A little corny for us but lots of people enjoyed it, you can't please all of the people all of the time. We don't place too much importance on this aspect when booking a holiday.

*We walked into Corralejo along the shoreline and it took an hour.
*Restaurant 'La Marquesina' on the harbour was very good.
*Took a taxi to El Cotillo (27euros 1 way, 20mins), not as quaint as I'd hoped but pretty unspoilt and very quiet. Have a good walk around - the 'new' harbour has a great view from on top of the cliffs by the tower and there are beaches round the other side of the town. Not a lot going on but different and, let's face it, there isn't much to do in Fuerteventura if you're not into watersport.

If you do your homework you'll know what you're getting and whether it's for you or not. For us, mid 50's who wanted a quality hotel with like minded guests in a beautiful, quiet position for a weeks' winter sun it was just the job.

We had a lovely relaxing January break at the Tres Islas returning for the first time in 10 years to find it just as good as the first time. We were greeted at reception with a nice glass of cava, and our bags were delivered to our room, arriving before we did. Facilities were excellent with a good if underused gym and a heated outdoor pool for the cooler days. There are plenty of sunbeds to go round so even if some of them are reserved at 5.00am by our European cousins it was never a problem for us finding a decent location after breakfast. The free wi fi access meant we had access to the web in the bar & terrace area which was very convenient. The food was of a very good standard considering the numbers being catered for, breakfasts in particular were excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout and we are already thinking about booking up for next year.

We stayed for 1 week from Jan 16th 2010, the Hotel as good as all other reviews, but thought i would add that yes the Germans do seem to get the upper floors and sea facing, but at first being disappointed on getting a first floor non sea facing room actually found it to be to our benefit ie could use the stairs no queing for the (small) lifts and we had the sun on our balcony all afternoon until dusk ideal for relaxing after a hard day on the beach or around the pool, and also out of the (often strong )wind and if (when ) we go back would ask for this room again 111,
The weather by the way was blue skies ,sun, mid/high 70's
