“Arty little town”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2014

You can easily drive through Lajares in 2 minutes but it is worth stopping and visiting the shops and cafés, there is a small bakery with some superb artisan breads. On Saturdays there is a craft market, it is small but again worth the effort, also surf shops for repairs or hire
Larajes has a crafty vibe almost a retro feel, great for watching the world go by.

“Lovely village to wAlk or cycle to for lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 January 2014

This is a lovely relaxed village, its laid back style attracting many surfers as well as locals. If you're staying in corralejo you can walk or cycle here and treat yourself to a lovely lunch. Personally I'd recommend the Maya cafe, where we had warm crusty baguettes filled with roasted vegetables and local goats cheese for 3.75 euros! There's also a lovely artisan jewellery shop called mandarin selling unique silver and coral jewellery. (There's an hourly bus back to corralejo)

Lovely little village. Good walk from correlejo via the volcanos or get the bus here and walk on to the sea at El cotillo.

“Return bar”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 October 2013

Nice little town with more than its share of restaurants, we visited the return bar a couple of times which stages some gigs for local musicians and is a nice venue for that, allthough it means a cab to most holiday hotels. The town is nice and the restaurants are varied well worth a bus ride for something different
