Having just arrived back from this hotel I'm slightly shocked at some of the reviews on here.
This hotel is a fabulous friendly little hotel perfectly situated for a peaceful relaxing holiday. I do agree that the hotel is more for couples and adults than children as the facilities are minimum for children, this aside the animation team try there hardest to keep them entertained .
The food was great, I have been to a lot of all inclusive hotels of a lot worse standard and the hotel tries hard to vary the food with themed nights I.e Mexican,Chinese,Italian . Breakfast was the usual sausage, bacon, egg etc, lots of fruit, cereals etc
Rooms are fantastically clean we even left a tip for the maid, towels are fresh daily as is the linen, not much more you could ask for, we were in room 303 and had boiling hot water all day.
The biggest asset of this hotel is the staff the are accommodating, friendly, and nothing is too much trouble.
All in all a lovely hotel and would definetly return

This is a budget all inclusive but it's better than that. The staff all seem to love their job or else they do a good job faking it. The atmosphere among guests and staff is a happy one.
Their is a good selection of food. Breakfast is poor however. The full English is nice bar the bacon. The cereals are terrible as are the yogurt so all is left is a good selection of bread. Of your happy with that your sorted. They could do with some chopped fresh fruit I think but the rest of the day the food is great. Lunch is lovely as is dinner. The snack bar does great grub too. You pull your own beer/ wine or soft drinks. If you want cocktails or shorts the barman will sort ya out. All inclusive. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. The pool area is spotless. Wifi is free in reception just next to the pool area. They also have free books for guests and rent out bicycles. I'd recommend hiring one as it's safe to cycle and the area is amazing. The hotel does massages in the room at twenty euro each. The pool is a nice size but not for doing lengths or that.
The only reason I won't be back (as it's a great hotel with great staff) is because I fond it boring. The animation team is mostly one person arranging shuffleboard or darts. For the main she just talks to the guests. The evening entertainment is so poor you'd rather read a book. Absolutely nothing for kids. Plenty of people don't go on hols for this though. Location is good for me as it's an enjoyable fifteen or twenty min walk to town. 3 quid in a taxi. If your going to this hotel it's well worth checking out flag beach. Don't go near the exhibitionist nudes though the view is rotten.

Had a great week at the hotel Arena 13/06 - 20/06. We did our homework before we booked and the Arena came out best for price and reviews. First girls only (no hubbies or kids) holiday abroad so wanted somewhere safe, clean and sunny. On arrival, quick check in, nice reception area with large comfy sofas. Pleased with our room. Good size and very clean. Asked for a pool view but stuck with the original offer, room 311 right next to reception. Had the late evening sun on the balcony. Wifi is only free in reception. €15 for week, this should be free. Plenty of sun beds most are in full sun all day. Rooms are cleaned every day with change of towels if you want. Food is ok. There is no waiter service, everything is buffet style. Separate salad bar, hot buffet area and desert area. Food is not always hot which was our only complaint. Breakfast is good. If you catch the chef cooking eggs you can get them freshly made. Sausages are good (like the Richmond ones at home.) Bacon is awful though. Coffee is great. Lunch was ok, a bit repetitive with pizza, chips and burgers. Dinner, again ok better on the themed Spanish & Mexican nights. You won't starve but if your looking for a-la-carte you won't get it here. Pool bar is self service for beers, soft drinks and coffee. Cocktails are watery mixtures put together and are not great in plastic cups although try the honey rum it's lush. Staff are all very friendly. Hotel is about 20 min walk from the main town which is just lovely. Found some really quaint little bars and plenty of nice restaurants. Beaches are lovely too. Booze and cigarettes are SO cheap in the shops. Don't bother with duty free get it when your there. We met some lovely families and couples at the Arena as it had a nice family feel to it. It's in a residential area so think this is why the bar closes at 11pm. Entertainment is just awful as per most other comments on here. First night was a guy with owls !!!! Another night was parrots !!! - No thanks. Reggie Michael was the best, singer and a bit of a comedian the best night of the week. Jessica does try hard to entertain during the day. Taxis are €3/4 into town. Of the 7 days we were there is was cloudy every morning apart from the first and last day. One day it took until 3pm before the clouds dispersed. Be careful as you can still burn under the clouds. As we are both sun worshippers we where a bit disappointed with it. Just meant we did other things we wouldn't normally have done and we still came back a great colour. Take a trip on the pedal bikes to the sand dunes and Oliva beach hotel. Just take care on the roads as cars park up which forces you onto the road to cycle. All in all in was a great week. Ticked all the boxes and we had a great laugh. If your looking for somewhere quiet and clean and your not bothered with entertainment then this is a great base for your holiday. Hope this helps. E & C x

This hotel is lovely if you are looking for a nice quiet relaxing holiday in the sun! If not then this is not the hotel for you! There isn't much animation team and everyone there doesn't really like to even go in the pool!! Other than that the place was lovely and clean, everyone was helpful and the food was wonderful. Good location near beaches and a great holiday!

We have just got back from the arena after a lovely 7 nights. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially mario in the bar Abel in the pool bar and the life guard. The maids work hard all areas of the hotel are spotless. The food was good, lunch was a bit repetitive but dinner was always lovely with a different theme most nights. There are two pools and a jacuzzi, all quite cold at first but you get use to it. There was always a sun bed available so we didn't need to get up early to reserve one. The only thing that let's this hotel down is the entertainment, it's shocking. In the evening there is a mini disco although there was only one kid in the hotel whilst we were there, then they do bingo instead of a pen you are given a cocktail stick! Then there is a show that lasts about 45minutes and varied in quality. The bar opened at 6 but the entertainment didn't start till 9 most nights and was finished by 10.30, all inclusive finished at 11 and the bar closed straight away. We went in to the town a few nights and found some good bars, the rock cafe, waiki bar and flicks which is a karaoke bar. All in all we had a good holiday and would defiantly recommend corralejo it is lovely. I'd go back to the arena only if there was a new entertainment programme.
